Expérience négative: Very bad experience, harassing team to get client annual renewal of contract despite their medical conditions, just call to ask for money and join. I have a cancer with treatment, cannot continue my training nor doing a renewal and I was harassed by a girl that calls me and ask me to go for renewal, despite that I already had a call several months ago to advise about my conditions, cancelation and no renewal until I have the go from medical specialist. I was subscribed only for the pool that has very limited access and every years issues with bath and pool and repair going on. Do not trust this business, when they loose customer, they start to harass existing ones to sign for renewal and they start their open door ads.

Expérience positive: would be great if there were non moving smith machines that can go all the way to the bottom... can't do hip thrusts there unless its on the hip drive machine....

Expérience négative: Horrendous to say the least, it is always about money, money and money again. If you take VIP don't expect even a minimum, oh btw the pool is always closed when you need it most, I never had any consultation initial or otherwise which they promise you with membership. They took my picture dozen times and each time I would show up the machine would block me from entering cause there was never a photo so an attitude from the person at the reception... I went to change my VIP to a regular one cause I barely go there anymore and it is time to change the answer is pay money to downgrade Hilarious the place is for losers so think hard!

Expérience positive: It's a nice enough gym, but soke equipments have been broken for a bit now and they haven't been fixed.. (a week for a rowing machine now..) and there is no enforcement of any sanitary and odor rules.. so ppls leave their swass on the machines without cleaning it and pepe the pew is never told yo calm down on the perfum.. making it rhat some of us with allergies or asthma have to quit our workout because others have decided the gym was a pick up place... It's very frustrating to say the least.. Update 23 mai.... Le perfume, il peut y avoir des signe, et un msg sur l'intercom 1 fois par heure aiderait.. Presenteent 2 filles ur les rameuses m'empeches de rammer..j'etouffe et je dois quitter mon workout... Je payer pour quoi si je peux pas faire mon workout sur les rameuse#

Expérience négative: Did not change my card for about 2 years and it ripped because of how old it was. They still charged me 20$ for a new one…

Expérience négative: I got my membership on December 2023. As I told the lady in the front desk that, I get the membership only for sauna, swimming pool and jacuzzi. She said " everything here is perfect, but when I got my membership, Jacuzzi was closed. They said we fix it." I stop going there. Then I decided to cancel it. The guy said " We have to charge you until the end of your contract." It just ridiculous

Expérience négative: This gym clearly oversells memberships for their capacity. Imposible to do a workout without people taking you space and machines. Doesn’t matter the time of the day. Dirty pool and disgusting sauna. I pay for flex VIP so that I could cancel anytime I want. Guess what? You require 30 day notice so they will charge the following month. Sounds like a scam Never coming back to any world gym.

Expérience positive: I had a tour today before my enrollment for VIP membership. The gym is good in terms of machines and facilities. However, the weakest point is the rate calculation for your membership. It’s apparently 25$ +tax on a monthly basis but in fact it is not. Initially, you have to pay 20$ for card, 60$ for enrollment fee, 25$ as sign up due ( which I totally don’t understand why they take this) + your monthly fee that is 25$. Also, you have to pay 20$ twice a year for rate guarantee in March and September each year. So, actually by doing some math, your monthly real membership fee is 37$ +tax. I think it’s better to be more clear with clients and instead of make the membership rate so complex, honestly tell them your monthly fee is 37$ not 25$.

Expérience positive: The vip members we pay to have an access for sauna and the pool but sauna is closed and the pool is very dirty, otherwise Zumba and spinning classes i highly recommend also the stuffs are nice.

Expérience négative: Please don’t lock the doors to group classes… we pay for these services but if we’re a few minutes late the door is locked. Allowing a 15 buffer is the least you guys can do since we pay for the services… I came to the spinning class on Sunday at 9 am I was at the door for 9:05 and the doors were locked. Even when the receptionist came to help me open the door she couldn’t because the instructor locked it from the inside of the classroom. I understand it’s a group class, and we have to respect the group. But we as customers pay for these additional services so please respect us as customers. We pay for services we should have access to them 24/7. Meet us half way and allow a 15 min buffer

Pool hours continue to decrease. the steam sauna hasn't worked for years on the pretext that a part is missing... the jacuzzi has not been working for months. many machines not working. can you please do what's necessary quickly. Expérience fantastique: I’ve tried 3 world Gym, until now this is my favorite place to workout. Big space enough machines . Try to avoid going 18:00-21:00 cz you will have alot of people . Other times are mostly not crowded. Workers are really nice there.

Expérience négative: Worst gym you can ever sign up to. I've been in the past and their service is absolutely awful. I've been trying to get a hold of head office and no call back. Wouldn't be surprised if one day soon they close. They also put a message on my credit bureau I recently found out why I have no idea. I haven't been to their gym since covid and never ever will set a foot there again.

Expérience négative: They gradually eliminate services while increasing charges. Initially, they temporarily took down the Suna stream, which later became a permanent service suspension. Currently, Jacosy is out of service for a minimum of two months. The permanency of this suspension is yet to be determined. Monitoring the situation closely.

Expérience négative: I signed up for a VIP #membership at World Gym in 2017. After 2 years I had a car accident and had to stop going. I kept paying my membership thinking that I would eventually go back. A whole paying-year passed and I never recovered completely. I called to cancel my membership. Then I noticed that they kept charging my credit card (I had given my credit card for automatic payments on my file) They called me and threaten me into paying until the end of another year. I reported them as unauthorised charges to my credit card. A couple of years later I see they had sent me to collections and heavily damaged my credit! THEY ARE HUSTLERS AND BLACKMAILERS. DO NOT GO WITH WORLD GYM. I HAVE SEEN OTHER COMPLAINTS OF HOW THEY BLACKMAIL YOU INTO PAYING UP AND THEY WILL REPORT YOU TO THE CREDIT BUREAU WHEN YOU STOP. THEY ARE JUST EVIL AND GREEDY. EVEN WHEN YOUR MEMBERSHIP YEAR IS UP, IT IS AUTO-RENEWABLE AND THEY WILL NOT STOP CHARGING YOUR CREDIT CARD. UPDATE June 2024: they sold what they said I stopped paying because I stopped going to a collection agency and they EXPECTED ME TO PAY 470$ After they ruined my credit THESE PEOPLE ARE THUGS STAY AWAY or READ WHAT THEY ASK YOU TO SIGN! Now that's an extra 114$ in your year. Just letting you know as this is non sense how can they charge to enroll then charge to maintain a price during that same year. There is a price on the price . Just don't like the false advertisement.

Expérience négative: Went yesterday Monday august 14 at 23:30 just to be told they're closing in 30 minutes because the night shift employee didn't show up. I don't live necessary close to the gym. Gas ain't cheap and more importantly my time and energy. No communication, no backup plan, very poor managed if I'm being honest. Just a reminder that last week, the same employee that didn't showed up, had to close the gym at 1am because she had an emergency ( I can understand things happen) but was very rude (very impatient and harassing me to get out in the men dressing room). All that saying, if you're weekly night operations depends on the same employee, I highly suggest to take actions and quickly because people pay their hard earned money to receive a service that they're entitled to.

Expérience négative: Worst client experience ever!!! During COVID, World gyms were closed and were still collecting payments from my credit card while other gyms had options to hold payments and restart payments once gym reopened. After asking them to hold off on payments cause I had no guarantee that the business wasn’t going to close (bankrupt or other), and to start them up again after they would reopen, they refused and I decided to change my credit card to stop them from taking payments. There were two months left to my membership and decided never to go back since they had refused to stop taking my payments while they were closed. Two years later, I receive a letter from a collection agency in the amount of 119.21$. I paid that amount not to affect my credit but I want to let people know how world gym treats their clients. I was a client of world gym for over 2 years prior to COVID without any issues. Clients, be ware!!!

Expérience négative: "I had an absolutely terrible experience at this gym. Not only was the customer service incredibly rude and unhelpful, but I also suspect that they were running a scam. They renew your membership without any consent and also they charge you extra. This is not safe at all! In addition to the billing issues, the gym was also dirty and poorly maintained. The equipment was old and outdated, and several machines were broken or in need of repair. Overall, I would strongly advise against joining this gym. The customer service is terrible, and it seems like they are more interested in scamming their members than providing a quality fitness experience. Save yourself the hassle and find a better gym elsewhere."

No idea about the management, but over all this one is spacious, has variety of machines and equipment, good amount of dumbbells, and many cardio machines. Expérience négative: The Gym is Good the Trainer is Great but the Management ( concerning the contract ) this is just too bad for the World Gym They said that the contract cannot be resiliated and in the contract it is clearly mentioned that I can stop my Semi private courses by sending a signed " avis" asking to stop the courses . After I spoke several times and called to cancel and did cancel my courses and not my membership: the " management " still took money from our credit cards and when I asked why they said you can't break the contract ( either you have to pay or find someone that take the courses on your behalf and this person continues to pay the remaining amount for the year ) I have a meeting with the " management" tomorrow to see what to do about that . But my guess is that a Law suit is on its way .

Expérience négative: its was good gym till 2020, But since then ,, they gym sucks, they close so early, they change the opening hours frequently without any announcement at the website of face book or any social media , many times the gym was like a sauna since the HVAC was not working especially summer times the machine never updated since 5 years at least, many unbalanced, not working properly, & moreover if one damaged ! it takes 2 months to be replaced several benches are dangerous, they could be broken while doing heavy weights i used to recommend this gym to many friends, but not anymore .

Expérience positive: Great place for the price. Absolutely love everything that is included it is unbeatable in the number of different amenities and classes offered. The people who work out here are sociable and wont hesitate to help others out. Judgemental stares are rare and encouragements are the norm from what I've witnessed. The only downside is that the dumbell as well as the plates seem to never get reracked properly by the staff and people who go here don't do it all either. A bit more order would be the only thing this place can add. And if the employees do actually rerack the weights then the rules should be applied a bit more tightly. Everything else is perfect.

Expérience négative: I don't recommend it! I have the VIP monthly plan. I came last month to cancel it so they told me that you can cancel anytime with Zero charge and it has been already renewed so I waited till the end of the month before I renew it. I came today and they told me THAT I HAVE TO PAY THE NEXT MONTH even if I don't want to come!!! They never mentioned that before! If I there is a - I would rate it -5stars and 0/10 for the service. I won't register there again even my family!

Expérience négative: Worst custumer service ever. They treatened to contact a recovery agency in the next 10 days because a paiement didnt go threw ( my credit card got hacked) and didn't even bother to call or send an email informing me of the situation before this final warning. If i hadnt checked my spam email folder and saw their warning last minute my credit would have been affected for an issue i didnt even know existed.

Expérience positive: *****UPDATE***** i was contacted by someone from the gym, and I was very pleased by the solution they gave me. I really thought I found a great gym at first, the employees were nice overall and there was a lot of equipment, the gym is big, but then covid hit again and closed the gym, i was paying for semi-private session with a coach and when the gym closed, the coach stopped sending me messages about training, I tried to contact customer service to cancel my semi-private sessions, but NO one has responded and it’s been 2 weeks… 2 weeks I’m paying for a service a didn’t receive! I’m really mad World gym Rosemere… DO BETTER! I’ll tell my friend to never come to this gym ever
