Expérience fantastique: I love to swim there its the best

Expérience positive: Membership pricing isnt ideal. Some of the Gym equipment is outdated and seeming to be poorly maintained. Some of the machines and weight equipment have a noticeable amount of rust and the leg press/calf machine will get stuck from the amount of corrosion that has developed. The pool is nice and the sauna/steam room.

Expérience négative: Having to pay for broken lockers is not right and a money grab. What happened to just bringing your own lock. There no no signs for locker instructions.

Expérience négative: We went on a school trip and the life guard kept yelling at us and we weren't aloud to ho in the hotub

Expérience négative: Half the paid lockers do not work eating up my coins, I finally find a locker I think works put my stuff in it and it locks my stuff up and won't give me the key had to wait 20 minutes on maintenance, and after all that they refused to give me a proper refund for my change. There's also little kids in the adult hot tub and the staff don't seem to care. Bring your own lock or don't go, If you can even find a locker for you that is. The Public swim only being 2 hours is too short for the price as well.

Expérience positive: As a former member pre 2010. An now an older adult. Seeing member only access in the evenings was a disappointment. Drop in's being only until 2pm. I wanted to try Aqua size again and swimming in the evening's. But am disappointed with the new policy n changes and times looking online.

Expérience fantastique: Where else in the Maritimes can a swimmer do their lengths long course on a Friday morning?? Incredible facility!

Expérience fantastique: Biggest indoor pool size I think in New Brunswick I could be wrong but it might just be they have 2 bigger swimming pools and 2 smaller pools the bigger ones are more for the older children and adults and smaller ones are more for younger kids. Written By: Liam Van Stone

Expérience fantastique: I take my daughter here for swimming lessons and free swims. The parking lot is small, but there is street parking and a parking garage across the street. The washrooms are clean with plenty of lockers, and there is family change rooms in the pool area. The staff are always friendly. There is a toddler pool that is perfect for babies and small children for parental supervised play.

Expérience fantastique: Large swimming pool, sauna, steam room and a set of smaller pools for children. Not bad, not bad. 9 bucks only for adult. There are rechargable 10 visits cards and also monthly and yearly passes. * you should have a lock with you or 1 dollar coin to use lockers.

Expérience positive: I would like to thank Brenda at the Aquatic Centre. Brenda noticed I was upset about a concern. Brenda went out of her way to solve the problem so I would continue to attend the aquatic centre and be happy. Brenda also gave me a tour of the adult change room and made me feel so comfortable. Expérience positive: Needs to be cleaned more, and some maintenance needs to be done, since some things are noticably broke or not up to standards.

Expérience positive: Inconsistencies with the lifeguards enforcing the rules. People walking by them over and over in groups without masks and they stopped us to tell us to put them on. We complied immediately and watched as they ignored the others walking by over and over without masks. We were the only ones they bothered.

Expérience négative: I forgot my mask and they charged me $1 for one. Pretty sure those blue masks are probably made for less than a penny. Showers are closed due to COVID-19. Don't know how that makes sense. The gym looks like it hasn't been updated in decades They close the pool between 2pm-4pm because it's not busy during that time. The pool should be open at all times to suit the needs of the customer and not the other way around. They charge you to have a lock for your locker unlike other gyms where you can bring your own. They charge you extra to have an adult changing room (I'm assuming it's a better version of the default one) It seems like this place is severely struggling for money or they just have the need to squeeze every penny out of it's customers.

Expérience négative: This place is a joke. They are forcing their client to wear masks while EXERCISING. This completely lacks common sense and is just plain unhealthy all because they need to make it look like they are going above and beyond the public health rules. Glad I canceled my membership with this place.

Expérience fantastique: great place to be and great people that work there, pretty friendly place, a few years there and i love it because it a great place to relax, they say the pool at the ymca has a walk in pool but so does the Aquatic centre and stairs to get out as as well as in, not ever think of leaving that place and besides the ymca is too far down north . they will be body heat testing when going into the lobby now, which is a great and safe idea for everybody and very much appreciated, everyone that enters the lobby area will have to have a mask on while in their lobby area. don't need it when working out. any questions. call and ask or when you visit or need info. i was told everything i needed to know. still a great place to relax. enjoy life be safe

Expérience fantastique: Great indoor swimming pool for the whole family.2 diving boards to spring from.Can also enjoy sauna and gym.I enjoy the warmth of water and even had friendly chat with a few patrons. Do go for a dip.Cant swim, you can sign up for lessons.

Expérience fantastique: The price is very reasonable for a monthly membership. They have a wonderful pool and a beautiful gym with all new Matrix equipment. They also offer all kinds of free classes with your membership and its a very clean and friendly user atmosphere. Great Place with many options and resources available from really professional service.

Expérience positive: I love the idea of running, biking, and swimming all in the same building! The membership fee is very competitive as well. The fitness instructors are cheerful and down to earth. ie. I loved Jolene's zumba classes! What needs improvement are the variety of classes and the amount and they really need to bring back water jogging or give people opportunities to water jog at their leisure. In the winter, you have a hard time getting a lane for swimming, but that happens in the winter with people having New Year's resolutions. Overall, good place!

Expérience fantastique: Such a wonderful resource! I swam and had a steam then realized I could do my heavy bag work there too and there is a full gym and there are all types of classes. In the last city I lived in I went to a private gym for weights, a club for kickboxing and the pool for swims and hot tub. This is wonderful and the staff are so friendly and helpful.

Expérience positive: Great facility but not supportive of persons with physical limitations as far as the pool. The new YMCA in the north end has a walk in pool, can't beat that. Otherwise great physical therapists etc.

Expérience fantastique: travelling this past August from FL. and swam here twice. Plenty of lanes ,helpful staff and located near many hotels. Pool temp I would guess around 80 degrees.

Expérience positive: This was a great treat for the kiddos (2 and 8 months). We started in the kid pool which is fenced in with space to play out of the water and LOTS of pool space. It's quite deep (when sitting, it was up to my neck so 2 feet aprox). We then moved to the larger swimming pool where we had access to floating toys, a small lagoon area, and 'waterfalls' (water falling from the other pool) that the kids loved playing in. With two kids, it was easier and more comfortable using the family changing rooms. It was not the most convenient thing to have gaps low enough that the kids could crawl under the door. It also didn't help that the floor has no matting/rubber so when getting dressed/undressed, they're sitting on either wet towels (from a wet floor) or cold cement or, attempting to balance them on the bench with cement underneath. While frustrating, it wouldn't keep us away! We may try the women's/mens dressing rooms next time and see if we can avoid the family rooms as they aren't great for baby/toddler age kids. Parking is a bit of a pain but that's pretty much all uptown - the garage attaches to the Aquatic Centre which meant an easy walk through Brunswick Square and to the pool (which was wonderful on the way back instead of being outside in the cold wind for any time). It was a wonderful day under 35$ (including parking) and we will definitely be back. It was very clean, lifeguards on duty at every pool, a water-slide that we didn't use but can't wait until the kids are old enough to go down and made for some wonderful memories!

Expérience fantastique: This swimming center is proud to Province New Brunswick as well as Saint John city. 8lanes x50m is international standard. All swimming meetings are held at this good swimming pool. State of Maine USA use this facilities to do swimming meeting by rent once or twice a year as well. Not busy in summer vacation period.

Expérience positive: Great swimming facility all around, parking can be a bit of a chore though very small area.

Expérience négative: Weekend hours are terrible.....only fitness center in the region closing 12pm Saturday, not open on Sundays.....

Expérience positive: An excellent pool and location. Recent upgrades to bleachers are a welcomed change. Kids zone is great for the younger ones and there are various other areas for all ages.

Expérience positive: Water slide has a ridiculous drop at the end. Almost unsafe. Rope swing is lots of fun and tower is fun to jump off of. Always like to go here to enjoy a couple hours with friends

Expérience fantastique: This is a 50 meter pool with lots of lanes for competition swimming or at other times a great Drop In swim workout in the 25m lanes. Also offers Yoga classes and Stationary bikes for all year round biking workouts. Then there are several treadmills for run training or I hve often attended water running classes. For a beginner Tri-Athlete to the top of class Tri-Athlete all three sports are well represented here at one facility!!!!
