Expérience positive: Small but good sets of dumbells and equipment and decent cardio

Expérience fantastique: Spend more than 6 months in this gym and you will feel like family! I live in the south end and still go out of my way to workout here.

Expérience fantastique: Members only with drop in options during the hours of operation listed. First week is a free trial then you pay per visit. Year memberships are extremely affordable compared to corporate gyms. It has more of a grunge garage feel, but it is kept clean and tidy which is appreciated. Good selection of cardio equipment including spin bikes and jacobs ladder. Saunas in the locker rooms. Not overly busy which is great. Overall a great work out space and I would definitely return.

Expérience négative: I tried to go to this gym tonight with my friend. He was thinking about getting a membership and wanted to utilized the week free trial this gym offers. We get in at like 6:00PM and no worker is present at the front desk. My friend still decides to work out with me and figures he will use the free trial tomorrow. We were about to start working out, when a girl (young, caucasian female, early twenties) walked up to us and said she didn’t see one of us sign in. She said that she is an employee at this gym, and I explained to her that my friend wanted to sign up for free trial but no one was at the front desk. The girl, instead of being helpful and polite, proceeded to say she wasn’t working but kicked both of us out even though I have a membership which I paid for. Again, she blatantly stated she was not currently working, but instead of trying to help my friend start up a membership or offer a polite alternative, she decided she has the authority to kick us both out, but not take 2 minutes of her time to sign up a new customer. Her tone and reaction to our presence was very unprofessional and rude, and made me reflect if a membership at a gym where the employees are allowed to treat people like this was worth it.

Expérience fantastique: Great little gym. My daughter has a trainer here, and she feels comfortable working out at anytime .

Expérience positive: Turn on the AC or some fans, way too hot inside. One ceiling fan won’t cut it.

Expérience fantastique: went here for a self defence class. it was very well instructed. and teacher had lots of knowledge to share while still keeping it fun

Expérience positive: Employees are nice, however gym itself could use an upgrade.. Seems to be stuck in 1980 with the condition the equipment is in, only 3 treadmills and it's a battle to get one, no water fountain either. Other than that, good, cheap gym. -gus

Expérience positive: Nice small gym, worked out here in the 90's and nothing has changed, weights, machines everything. If you know what you're doing its a great gym but other than that its pretty out dated. Only 3 out of maybe 10 treadmills work, you never know if the stoppers on the clanky weights will fall off and tumble, employees usually bug people working out. Super hot in the summer. Cheap and close though.
