Expérience fantastique: This gym is always clean and well cared for. I've never had any issues with staff, real people doing great jobs. For example i left my sandals there one time on Saturday night at closing having only realized as I got to my car.. come Tuesday I returned and they vanished, but turns out the good life staff and tucked them away in safe keeping. I was pumped to get my sandals back, props to the staff.

Expérience négative: One of the door workers ‘Mike’ yelled at us and caused a scene because we had 1 pair of shoes. Yelled at us infront of everyone and made us very uncomfortable. Very rude workers. The night shift lady is nice but the others not so much.

Expérience négative: Pathetic Management and staff, One day I told them to pause my subscription still they charged me the next week. When I called them then instead of returning they kept that money and said they will use it during the pause session when it resumes they will charge accordingly to the balance which was left. Today I called them I want to cancel the subscription completely the first guy told there is balance left of certain amount will be deducted next week then I asked there is already a balance left of money of mine which was deducted in pause session needs to be return to me the first guy said one moment and kept on hold and other staff guy came talking rudely and said there is no balance left now we stopped my service and I told him there is a balance left of mine he mentioned it’s already been deducted and there is no balance left our company deducts amount 4 to 5 days before. I asked him that’s not true, usually I get deducted every Tue by weekly today it’s still Friday and he saying it’s already been deducted and no balance left and we are stopping your service as you requested. All bunch of lies the management and staff full of lies instead of returning the remaining balance money they kept that money. When you keep on asking the truth instead of saying truth they keep on lying to you and never return your money and steal it. Some one has to sue this company for making people fraud.

Expérience positive: The place is always clean and you will get all the equipment you would want but how the reputation of this gym being a 24hrs gym its not 24hrs all days of the week and as it advertises it doesn't have a pool or a squash court and the music is always at a lower volume.

Expérience fantastique: Dropped in for about a week when I was in town visiting family. The Manager, Mike, created a 1 week pass for me, and both he and the other staff were beyond friendly and accommodating. The facility was exceptional - clean, well-equipped, and with full amenities. If I lived in Regina, I would make this my ‘home’ gym without hesitation. Thanks for giving me such a great reminder of Sasky hospitality!

Expérience négative: Girl on duty in night is always at phone, rude and have no sense how to talk to customer. I forgot my tag once and she told me that she will not let me in next time. Its better to take care of her as soon as possible please.

Expérience négative: Scott is the worst representative I’ve ever met. He’s very very rude and wasn’t helpful at all. Walks away when I’m speaking to him and shows absolutely NO respect or interest in his job. I HAD TO TEACH HIM THEY HAD A FREE VISITOR PASS AND HE KEPT INSISTING ITS 26$, which he then walks away rudely and asks his manager and the manager tells him that’s correct… PLEASE DO SOMETHING WITH SCOTT!!! He clearly does not want to be there!

Expérience positive: As a fitness coach I would love to give GoodLife a 5 star however I'm disappointed that there are no air runners or skiers. They have one assault bike however more would be beneficial. In a world that is so focused on their carbon footprint you would think they would trade in their electric treadmills and replace them with self propelled treadmills and skiers. This would bring down the cost the electrical bills as well as the clientele would benefit from them. As a coach I would like to recommend my clients coming here however they are liking where they train as they can take advantage of the cardio equipment at the location they are at.

Expérience négative: I've been going to this gym for almost one and half year, and many times felt that some of their staff members are rude but some of them are also very good, so never concerned about it. But today's experience was pathetic. I was about to use one machine and one of their associates came and started using it without concerning that someone is already here, using it. I asked him and he replied rudely, I felt embarrased and insulted so left the spot right away without arguing. So good luck on a machine when it's their staff and buddies time. I felt that it's nothing but racism, that's normal behaviour of some of their staff members with brown people.

Expérience négative: I want to share experience at GoodLife Fitness that left me feeling disappointed. I found that the discipline among the staff is zero. Nobody is ready to listen the facts that have been brought to the Associates, Either they will respond rudely or they will just ignore you while doing their own stuff. It’s crucial for a fitness center to foster an environment of respect and professionalism, and I believe there’s huge room for improvement at this South Location GoodLife. I hope my feedback is taken into consideration and necessary steps are taken to improve the overall experience for all members.

I’ve personally faced Racism here, a guy at the front staff talked to me in a very rude manner and made racist comments. When i told him that I won’t entertain such kind of behaviour, he told me that he will write a fake note under my name in membership.

Expérience positive: The club itself was clean and all the weights put away. However the serbice at the front desk is not warm and welcoming like other locations I have visited. The staff is either on their cell phone or at the computers away from the desk so no hellos or goodbye from this location.

Expérience négative: Worst most dishonest gym. I purchased personal training sessions during Covid. Unfortunately I had to leave due to Covid. I had 12 left. (12 sessions are a lot of sessions) I was promised they would be honoured when I was ready to return to the gym. I even double checked and asked the lady to make a note on my file. There was no timeline given to me. I contacted now to restart my membership and they refused to honour my paid in full personal training sessions. They refused to return my money. I was told there was a policy change. They took payment in full but refused to honour their agreement. Terrible dishonest Gym. Never buy personal training sessions at this Gym they might not give them to you. I have made a complaint with BBB and will continue to see what actions I can take to either get my money back or have them honour my already paid and purchase training sessions

We can assure you that your file has been escalated and reviewed accordingly and can confirm that personal training sessions do expire (outlined in your agreement). Expiration of these sessions would have been extended to account for the club closures during the pandemic, offering a longer period to have these sessions serviced.
Expérience négative: I love Good Life and its services, community, and overall state of the company. However, this facility has terrible Fitness Manager (Vera Chukwuemeka) who will not help you with your goals. I felt screwed over. I got a membership in January and have had a fun experience at the gym. In February, I decided to get a year contract for fitness training. I am no professional at weightlifting and endurance training, and my personal trainer was great at getting me started. In May, I found out that I will be moving sometime later this year to a different province. I talked with my trainer and Vera about possibly cancelling my contract and getting a new one that was shorter, as I didn't want my 1 year contract to get unused while I am in the process of moving. I originally emailed Vera first week of May to discuss options, and she did not reply for almost two weeks. When I followed up, I told her that I would be willing to just pay the buyout fee and get a new contract as I didn't want to waste more time and money paying the biweekly fee. After telling her this, she did not reply to me for another two weeks- even with frequent follow ups. When Vera finally replied, she informed me other ways to waive the buyout fee. This was great to hear... but her help was absolutely useless. The first option was to provide the place I am moving to to see if it will be eligible for cancellation (It must not have a GoodLife within 30mins radius). I asked Vera what information were needed for this option to be approved, in which she replied to with "just find a place and we will go from there". I was honest with her and said I didn't want to lie about a random location just to work my way out of the contract. This back and forth communication took a week and a half, and it resulted in nothing helpful. After finding out the first option would not work out, Vera then mentioned about getting a doctor's note to say I need to be off my personal training. At this current time, I had actually torn my left knee meniscus and was already taking time off. A week later, I was finally able to get a doctor's appointment to get a note to medically advise me from taking personal training until further notice. I submitted this to Vera and she did not get to me until a week and a half after, even with two follow ups. When she finally replied, she informed me that my medical note was not good enough as it needed to specify needing 3-6 months off. She said the only way to cancel my contract was to pay the buyout fee. This whole process was dragged on until July and at that point, I already wasted so much time and money. I was done trying to get help from her. Now here I am, 8 weeks of biweekly payment, which I could've and would've used to pay the buyout fee when I first inquired- i am finally able to cancel my contract. GoodLife has good gym equipments, group classes, and overall community. HOWEVER, if you are planning to start a fitness journey, do not sign any contracts with Vera Chukwuemeka. She will only waste your time and money.

With regards to the Agreement, you would be able to keep your banked sessions while you are relocating, therefore you would not lose out by continuing on the contract and picking up at the new location. Expérience positive: Called in for a 30 day pass and was told on the phone there was a $113 option and a $90 option. When I arrived the next day I was told it was $116 before tax and the best he could do was $108 before tax. This management is all over the place. Otherwise the gym is clean

Expérience négative: My regular gym was closed so I decided to try this one out. I walked in and asked how much for the day. The guy at the front told me $26.65. I thought that was extremely high so I clarified myself telling him I mean for like an hour. He looked at his partner and looked at me again and very rudely said "$26.65". I told him nevermind then and walked out. I then went to the YMCA In rochdale who is way cheaper and the staff is much friendlier. I would never go to this goodlife fitness if it was the last gym in the city!!!

Expérience négative: Have been going to this gym for 3+ years. I used to love it, it was a great environment with great staff. Now it is unsafe as a women to go after 7pm and the gym stinks like BO a majority of the time. The gym is great at certain times but the times are getting more and more slim. Security would be great!! I shouldn’t be scared to go to the gym that i pay for a 24 hour membership because of the lack of security or having no standards for members.

Expérience négative: Went to inquire about their membership, the agent's demeanor who assisted me has a very smug attitude. He was not in a good mood to begin with, and did not even offer me to take a tour in the gym even if I already told them at the beginning that I would like to see the facility. He showed me the membership fees, asked if corporate, and he just let me go. It only took 1 minute of his time to do this, but I took more time signing a piece of card at the entrance, did not even bother explaining other fees, and at the end of our extremely quick conversation, threw his pen back in the desk and I caught him saying something to his co-worker behind my back while I was walking away. I find them very rude and unprofessional. I did not find the gym to be busy at 1720 hr to be cranky or moody on a Friday. I was very disappointed at this location in Albert St. From the gate, the facility looks good (I didn't see inside as they didnt even offer tour) but I lost my interest just from what I have experienced already. That speaks volumes to me. I do not want to sign a long contract if the staff's attitude towards customers are very subpar. Very poor customer service. Update: 1742hr, just after reading some recent comments here, now I understand why they are extremely discourteous to me. I am very sad about this place as its close to home. But i would much rather take a longer drive to get to a gym where staff are more professional and welcoming.

One of the staff members, a bald guy, was sitting on the table while I was trying to talk to him. He was dismissive and made me feel unwelcome. I felt that the staff's behavior was discriminatory and I would not recommend this gym to anyone. When I asked about a promotion they had advertised outside, they laughed and they don’t even know what the promotion was.racist staff!

Didn’t even bother to explain anything in detail and was in a hurry to just hang up. Specially after reading the reviews, I am thinking about other options (one guy mentioned about biased behaviour towards brown people and I wonder if my name had something to do with that rude behaviour).

Expérience fantastique: The size of this gym location is smaller than the east location and can easily reach capacity; however, the layout of the gym gives a more relaxed transition from workout to workout especially if you go at times when there is less foot traffic. Unfortunately, Due to the smaller space layout the gym tends to trap bad smells from all the hard working spice heroes which makes me want to hand out deodorant at the door. Overall the staff are friendly and professional and the place is clean so I would recommend you try out a membership just don’t forget to shower.

No one answered the phone when I called customer service. Keep the timing online current so that we do not have to waste our time and energy only to be disappointed.

Expérience négative: Literally the worst service from a Canadian goodlife. 6 sales associates and unable to process a day pass. They also no longer offer 2-3 passes. Only 25$ for a drop in. Highly recommend Anytime Fitness or any other gym.
Expérience négative: Walked behind two staff members and overheard them making fun of the clients. They were saying some pretty insulting stuff about the appearance and clothing of someone exercising. They were two guys, looked around late twenties, one bald with a beard and the other balding, average gym meatheads. If you want to spend $60/month and work on bettering yourself while these d-bags sit behind their desk in the corner and make fun of you within earshot of other clients, this is probably the gym for you.

Expérience positive: Great staff I've got to change my review. Yes, the staff are still fantastic. This gym is getting out of hand. There are too many members for the amount of space available. There are also a small handful of members who are extremely rude to other members and need to be released. Also, for some reason, this gym closes at 8pm on weekends and doesn't open at all on stats. You can go to the east location for free on stats, but if it's after 8 on the weekend, you still have to pay, even though it's "24 hour fitness". Terrible corporate policy. I already pay the same amount as other larger locations and have reduced services, and ALSO access. I've been going there for 4 years and rethinking my membership.

Expérience positive: The staff are nice and friendly but since the covid restriction, there is this very huge guy, i think he is incharge of sanitizing, he is very rude. Every other thing has been good.
Expérience fantastique: With the help of my trainer Vera I was able to transform myself from an obese man that could barely catch his breath into a toned and healthy one, with substantially more strength in upper body, core, and legs in just over 6 months. My beer belly is almost gone, and at 31 I'm healthier than I've ever been in my life. Thank you!

Expérience fantastique: Set workout times of 1 hr with a 15 min cleaning break. Machines are well spaced and their covid protocols are very good. Masks at all times in gym.
Expérience fantastique: Update: I was very unhappy previously with Goodlife Fitness Regina South due to a bad encounter I had with one of their staff and I gave them a one star. But I am changing my rating from one star to five stars due to an outstanding professionalism displayed by their General Manager Mike Hart. He was not only friendly and nice but also resolved the matter amicably and professionally. I am impressed by the way he carries out interactions with his staff as well as member/customers. Keep up the good work.

Expérience fantastique: With the help of my trainer Vera I was able to transform myself from an obese man that could barely catch his breath into a toned and healthy one, with substantially more strength in upper body, core, and legs in just over 6 months. My beer belly is almost gone, and at 31 I'm healthier than I've ever been in my life. Thank you!

Expérience positive: The smaller goodlife of Regina but the facilities are nice, have a good variety of equipment. Would recommend a cheaper gym if you're a beginner or dont work out that often because of the price. Open 24 hours except on weekends which is the only time I really want it to be open 24 hours
Expérience négative: I am submitting this low ratings and reviews only for the unprofessional and rude communication by one of the Gym's staff members (Carl) I had a simple inquiry regarding the payment deduction for 29th June week as Gym was opened on that day after COVID-19 lock down and I didn't receive any notification regarding the same from the GoodLife Fitness. I inquired about these twice in-person in the Gym, Gym members took a note and assured me that I'll get a call back from the Gym Manager regarding the same but nobody never got back to me. Today, I called to the Gym and spoke with Carl and below are the responses I got from him: 1) Everybody got charged for this duration 2) You are not reading the news of the re-opening or not paying attention to anything that is going around. 3) Gym manager is not In and very busy, and has not time to answer such inquiries. I have been also in the service industry for the long time and I have never ever responded to my customers like this.

Expérience négative: Place consistently reeks of curry and BO. If you don't mind almost puking every time you try busting through your plateaus, this gym is fine. Otherwise, go to Gold's instead.

Expérience négative: Good gym if trainers don't take guest machines and space for training their clients and when trainers do personal work out they use four machines simultaneously and waste everyone's time.
Expérience positive: Fantastic gym,however there is no wifi. The Regina east location has wifi. When management is approached about the issue,there is no definitive resolution. They are working on it.Its been three years already. Be prepared to brunt the extra data charges from your phone carrier.
Hi there. Many of our locations do offer WIFI however we are still working on having it available at all of our Clubs. Any locations that currently do not have it is likely due to an infrastructure issue. We hope to have it available in the near future however we do not have a specific date that we can provide at this time.
Expérience négative: I had a very terrible experience with one of the staff (Kim) of this gym (GoldenMile), as she was very ignorant and rude to me, recently. It was a busy hour and most of the equipments were occupied, while no one was using the equipments in the personal training area, so I asked one of the staff (Mike) if I could use that area for a bit, and he was okay with that. As I was using it, Kim came to me and very rudely said, "I want to kick you out from here". I was surprised by her attitude and the words she used, and asked her if she wants to use a better word, as I understand that it was a personal training area, and hence, had no problem stepping back. However, she repeatedly used the same words, "Kick you out", and never felt sorry, or tried correcting herself. I was very annoyed and spoke to the other staff and manager, who understood the situation and apologized on her behalf.

Expérience fantastique: Good equipment selection, super friendly staff and things are well maintained. In all honesty it's the cleanest, best looked after gym I've been a member at.
Expérience fantastique: There are 2 Goodlife Fitnesses in Regina this one is definately the better of the 2. Cleaner gym, overall better feel walking in. They could use a few more chest machines but overall great place. Staff could be a little more inviting and do a little less talking to each other.
