GoodLife Fitness Quispamsis Village Place

Expérience négative: I only ever went to this location once several months ago and some of the guys kept watching me working out. Employees did nothing, they just kept suggesting I go to women's section..... We shouldn't have to. We should feel safe in an open area to move and work out freely without bering leered at by men and I felt disgusted even being there. Working out from home has been the better solution and I won't be going here again anytime soon.

Expérience positive: Disappointed, that gym edaquit isn't a thing thing ,people get a machine and think they own it ,and and then play on there phones longer than a rest period should be teens are taking over.

Expérience positive: Good gym, friendly staff. Showers are dated. the hours could be better, would be much easier to keep a routine if they were 24/7 or at least opened earlier on the weekend.

Expérience négative: In recent months the teens have taken over. There are always at least 8 or 9 pieces of Equipment broken. The womans only section needs to go. Thought we where an all inclusive society? Or Make an adult mens only section. I brought up the mold issue in the mens room by the back wall as your turn to go into the showers and bathroom. Staff just keep moving a bench to cover the whole in the wall and the moldy boards. That has been there for 3 years now. Unacceptable! Manager needs to take responsibility or be fired. Think it is time for a major staff change.

Expérience fantastique: The club in Quispamsis is great! I have a trainer and she is kicking my butt. The machines are always working, the staff is friendly, the premises are clean. Once I get my cardio in better shape, I'm going to take advantage of the numerous classes that are offered. Only one negative - the men's washroom stinks pretty bad sometime. Fix that and it's a 5 and a half star club.

Expérience fantastique: Love it. Lots of space and clean. Very rarely do I have to wait for equipment. A few more ego lifters than you'll find in other locations such as uptown Saint John, but it's not at ridiculous levels and easy enough to ignore.

Expérience fantastique: Great to see the new shower wall towers along with the new shower soap dispensers. No issues with cleanliness at this location. Older location but my impression is that the management team are working well to keep everything ship shape! All the folks working here are friendly, helpful and always have a great smile on their faces. Fitness class instructors are motivated, helpful and knowledgable. Note; Easy to fix impression of changing rooms and showers being dirty. Brighten up the lighting. Replace plastic fluorescent light covers. In the changing room replace ceiling tiles and change lights from recessed to fluorescent strip lighting.

Expérience positive: Very nice fitness facility. Out dated changing rooms. Sauna and grungy showers. This is the only location I have ever felt less than. I will never forget that experience. The two Goodlife in Saint John are wonderful.

Expérience négative: I have been going to the Quispamsis Goodlife gym for the last ten years or so. Btw, they are forcing me to give this gym a one star just to right a post. This gym doesn't deserve any stars. Just saying. It's the same old and not working properly equipment. It's time for all new equipment to go with the new floor. Get out of the 90's. The bathrooms Sucks. Maybe you need to close this gym for a couple of weeks and update it to the 20th century with new equipment and updated locker rooms. It's time to fined a new gym or open my own gym in Quispamsis. It's time to move on.

This is not a new gym, and I am not comparing it to brand new facilities but the amount of money that we pay monthly for a membership is very high and a lot of equipment seems to be breaking or broken (i.e., stair master) all the time and the bathrooms are always dirty (sink is always soaked). But the staff is friendly and the classes are great!

Expérience négative: Woman's only section is severely under used and a waste of valuble space. Gym is missing a lot of basic fundamental equipment because of this. This is my home gym but I recently have been spending time at the Charlottetown PEI location and it blows this one out of the water quality wise. The Quispamsis location should really be taking notes.

Expérience positive: This location is very large with lots of equipment which makes it easy to exercise even when it gets busy, and it does get busy. The locker room is updated and clean with lots of room to store your stuff while you work out.

Expérience positive: Nice gym. It's really the only full-service gym in Quispamsis, so you don't have a real choice if you want to work out in Quispam. But, it's acceptable as a gym.

Expérience négative: Wouldn’t recommend using GoodLife- period. Was with them for under 6 months and they charged me 75$ in 2 weeks, so I cancel my membership and I am charged 3 weeks again and a 99$ buy out fee. Absolute worst service

Expérience fantastique: I can visit this Fitness Centre anytime, open every day, very friendly and helpful staff to greet me every time. There are fitness classes ranging from beginners all the way to hard core workouts. I really enjoy the instructor led Spin Classes, which can be as intensive as you want to make it, and as easy as you want. There is a great variety of other classes for men and women, a large variety of weights and muscle/cardio personal workout equipment.

Expérience positive: Gym's womens only section should be smaller if exist at all. It's way too crowded and now missing machines it had before (like the decline universal machine), so men who pay the same membership fee lost access to some machines. I'm unsure if the women have to pay more to use that section but it does seem odd to charge members the same price but only give access to some. I also find they charge way too much for extras or to bring in a guest. Towel service for example should be much cheaper.

Expérience négative: Goodlife took this gym from fantastic to fair when they converted a large part of it into Women's Only. I am a regular, female member who works out at various times of the day/night and from 5-6 days throughout the week and so I am able to check the use of the women's section often. Since the women's section opened, NEVER have I seen more than 7 women, and usually an average of 4 women, using it. The coed section is so cramped, even a petite, 105 lb, 5'1" person like myself has to turn sideways to move between most of the equipment. It also makes it frustratingly difficult to maintain momentum during workouts when equipment and space is so cramped. What I can't understand is why Goodlife didn't ask this Club's membership if WE wanted a Women's Only section within our Coed gym. After talking with many fellow members, Goodlife seems to have annoyed and frustrated more members than it has made happy. Interesting to see what happens when Saint John's new YM/YWCA opens.
