They are always helpful, constructive and push me to be better. They inspire confidence and are very patient when I can’t quite get a technique down. Could not recommend mamute more! OSU!

They’ve learned so much—not just in terms of martial arts techniques, but also discipline, respect, and self-confidence. The instructors are incredibly skilled, patient, and attentive to each child’s development, and it’s amazing to see how much they’ve grown, both physically and mentally. Whether it’s learning new jiu-jitsu techniques, improving their focus, or simply building resilience, they are constantly progressing. Expérience fantastique: I’m Looking for a new Muay Thai gym so trying out a few to see which fits best. Mamute is a smaller gym space (previously trained at TKMT) - only 1 bag to work on. Class structure (for muy Thai) was great as well as the instructor (Austin)!

Not only that, Mamute changed my life and I found a community here full of ambitious members. I wouldn’t recommend training under anyone else other than Professor Igor here in Ontario!

Expérience négative: The members of this gym are disrespectful and rude. A friend of mine attended and was harassed by members of the gym, the managers enabled it and did nothing to stop it. The managers do not take complains seriously and allow the individuals who attend this gym to blatantly disrespect, harass and insult new members. Would never recommend attending this facility.

Expérience négative: The instructor needs to show up on time if he wants to get upset for not having control. The cost of the class is to much to have an instructor who is either absent or late.

Expérience fantastique: Fantastic place to learn. Have personal experience for the kids programming, as my daughter attends both the Jiu jitsu and Muay Thai classes. Cost is incredibly reasonable, which allows attendance to multiple classes within the week. There is a focus on techniques with discipline and respect while having fun.

Expérience fantastique: Amazing place! At first I have I admit I was a little worried about getting judged and not being able to keep up. Because I never really did anything like martial arts before besides taekwondo which was complicated and we had to memorize this really confusing stepping combo where we had to go back, left, right, forward, forward, left, etc. And when I did my first session I loved it the other students were great I also had a couple of friends there.The coach's were welcoming and now I've been going there for 5-6 months and I've gained confidence, got new friends, become happier, and so many more things I would recommend this place very much!

Expérience fantastique: My child is in the kids MT class and has been now for 4 months. During the first month he did get somewhat afraid but the instructor had a one on one chat with him. After the talk, he’s been super excited and has been learning very well. He has more confidence. The instructors here truly care about their students and their martial arts. They pay attention to every student and ensure that proper techniques are always applied. Definitely a great place.

His self-defense and listening skills have improved immensely and he is also given an outlet where he can take his energy and turn it into a positive learning experience. My eldest son has been attending Jiu-Jitsu for around one year and has excelled well. He's enjoys attending and it's helped his overall confidence. Expérience fantastique: Mamute MAA is an outstanding gym, the people there are some of the kindest I’ve ever met in the bjj community, everyone is so respectful, supportive and welcoming. Professor Igor is a great coach with a lot of patience; every time I have the opportunity to learn from him he has been thorough and clear with his instructions and is more than willing to help make sure you’re learning the correct technique. They are truly just a great group to train with and the open mats on Sunday are always a good time.
