Expérience fantastique: Joining panthers made me enjoy working out again, brings challenge but also fun! Staff are really friendly, from the front desk to the instructors! Very comfortable facility to workout in, no matter your skill level, staff are great help to modify any workout to your needs while motivating you to push yourself to the best of your abilities! Definitely recommend!

Expérience négative: This is a horrible business! TL;DR: I was scammed by this terrible, poorly operated business and still haven't received a refund. Back in June, I ordered boxing gloves and hand wraps from their online store. A few days later, I visited the gym to inquire about my order (since the website stated orders must be picked up in-store, but I never received a confirmation email). The front desk associate was surprised and said, "we have an online store?" After checking with the owner, who was busy doing yoga, the associate informed me that the gloves I ordered were not in stock. The owner admitted to seeing my order but hadn't placed an order for the products yet. I was told the owner would contact me in a couple days to apologize and arrange for the gloves to be delivered to my house. However, I was given the hand wraps I ordered. A week passed without any communication from the owner. I decided to order from Rival Boxing's website instead and attempted to return the hand wraps. The associate working that day was apologetic, and said he couldn't process the return on his end and that his manager would need to handle it. He assured me I would be contacted, but I've still heard nothing and haven't received a refund. I have since filed a dispute with my bank due to this business' incompetence.

Expérience positive: I ll leave 4 stars so their is always room for improvement. On the other hand. There is nothing but great things to say about this place. Two boxing rings, many speed bags, many double end bags, heavy bags, and water bags. Everything you need to get an awesome workout. Free weights, squat racks, cable machines. You can spend hours there. This boxing gym offers one on one sessions, group classes, yoga, steam room, and showers. They also sell training gear if you need. Great place

I was so nervous to go as I had 0 experience in any form of battle, like I've never been in a fight in my life and I assumed everyone would be big and strong and scary. Little did I know, everyone who worked there was already my family. I've never walked into a place where everyone was so happy to see a stranger. But it was so warm and comforting, you can't help but smile and stir up a conversation. From the owners, to the front desk workers. You are all beautiful inside and out. Benny, your words of wisdom and life experience have been helping me out like you could not believe. I can't wait for many more conversations to come. Paul, your classes push me harder than I've ever been pushed and that's quite literally the point so thank you, kindly. Your energy never fails to push the class till failure. I've purchased all of my gear from Panther Gym and I gotta say, it's some pretty darn good gear. If you don't know what you're looking for, you can just ask them and they'll find you your perfect fit for anything. Would I recommend Panther Gym to my friends and family? I already have been. Simple as that, this place is as perfect as it gets.

I always try to find a gym to train at while travelling but Panther's new gym is by far the most well equipped boxing gym I've been to: massage/acupuncture rooms, sauna rooms, dedicated yoga rooms, 2 weight stations, 2 rings, 24 bag/wall mounts, 6 double end bags, smoothie stations, cooking station - and I'm sure I'm missing something. Definitely worth coming by !

Expérience fantastique: It's been a very long time since I was trained at the Panther Gym (close to 30 years) but its encouraging to see it's still doing what it does best, offering high quality self-defense training in a low key, accessible environment. I trained with Daryl Duke the original owner and earned my black belt as well as learning kick-boxing and boxing. I have a lot of fond memories of my many years at the Panther Gym and hope it continues to enrich the self-defense skills of Edmontonians for decades to come!

The instructors that teach the classes are awesome, I like attending both classes because I learn a variety of moves. It's definitely a great workout, and everyone at the gym is really supportive, and helpful. I really appreciate that being new to kickboxing.

Expérience fantastique: I went to try out my first kickboxing class in over 3 years of not exercising. Even though I'm pretty out of shape now, the people at the gym made me feel welcome and worked with me so I could learn the beginner moves. The other people in the gym were friendly and super helpful which was a relief because some gyms are intimidating to walk in to. Will definitely be coming here regularly!

If you don't want to take classes you can go and train on any of the equipment anytime. Staff are friendly and courteous and Benny is always available either in person or via cell phone. I wish they would open a gym in Vancouver.
