Expérience fantastique: This is my second year going to Beach City while on vacation in Penticton. The week-long drop in pass was ideal for me and my length of stay in Penticton. All of the classes I had were with Coach Ron and he is a fantastic coach and everyone at the gym was very welcoming. I had a chance to do both the CompTrain and Sweat45 classes and they were challenging and adaptable to anyone’s fitness level/ability. There is no better way to start the morning than with a workout right on the Beach at Skaha Lake. It is truly a unique experience you’ll be hard pressed to find anywhere else. The best gym experience for your stay in Penticton!

I was worried that, because I am unable to use that shoulder as I had in the past, I wouldn't glean as much from the workouts. The coaches at Beach City Crossfit make sure that my workout is tailored for my ability each and every time I show up, giving me a variety of options to "plug in" to my WOD. I'm really happy with the way my body has been responding... and I enjoy the camraderie of my class mates. This is so much better than trying to do it on my own! Thanks guys!

The community members were incredibly friendly to vacationing/drop in visitors, and I felt welcome from the moment I walked in. The coaching was top-notch, providing excellent guidance and support throughout my workouts. And to top it off, the gym's location along the beach at Skaha Lake was absolutely breathtaking. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get fit in a warm and welcoming environment! 5/5 stars!

Work out right on the beach facing the lake. Very convenient to book a workout through their website as a traveler. Great workout and atmosphere. Had a great time. Expérience fantastique: This is an amazing place to work out! I had never done CrossFit before and I was quite intimidated about going for the first time. I struggled the first couple of weeks and found the workouts quite hard but then I settled into a good rhythm. I love the mix of strength, cardio and gymnastics. The trainers made me feel so comfortable and relaxed and it's a really friendly group of people. The stunning views from the gym definately make it easy to distract myself during particularly difficult workouts.

Expérience négative: Disappointed. I was looking for a new CrossFit gym after just recently moving to the Penticton area. I was impressed by all the great photos of this place and available class times compared to the other local box. However, in my research today I came across a post on their Facebook page (posted Aug 29) stating that they will be refusing to comply with the government’s vaccine passport. Unfortunately, this makes it a business that I no longer feel comfortable to attend. With high intensity physical activity without masks already documented to be a high risk “super spreader” activity (noted by several outbreaks linked to fitness studios across the country), this decision is risking the health of the 80%+ who have chosen to get vaccinated by the 20% who have not. I will be looking elsewhere for a box that values the safety of all of their patrons.

BeachCity by far has been one of the most welcoming and you definitely feel that connection to this community right away. I always felt I could ask for help from any of the coaches, who were always more than happy to give us the extra time we needed. We have moved away but I hope one day to come back for a visit!!

The people here is what makes it so special, the owner, the coaches, the box members, they make this amazing team of awesome people who motivate and cheer every other member on. The atmosphere is positive and encouraging even for complete newbs like me. From the most experienced person in the group right down to the newcomers, everyone is working to encourage and support one another. Jason, the owner, was very hands on and attentive to our form and progress. He clearly cares about everyone that walks through the door and he leads that positive atmosphere I am talking about. My only regret is that I haven’t been back for far too long. I highly highly recommend Beach City CrossFit for anyone interested in the sport, getting more fit or even looking for a community.

You can’t beat this location with its beach view, and swimming workouts in the summertime. It has a great mix of classes, I especially love the Olympic weightlifting class on a Saturday, my lifting has really improved thanks to the coaching there! Thanks Beach City Team!!!

I travel a lot for work and it's always a bit of a crapshoot checking out a new box when I'm somewhere new, but I would be happy to train at Beach City CrossFit again any time. The coaches are knowledgeable and motivating, the programming is intelligent, and everybody is incredibly friendly and welcoming. What a great box. I miss the view every time I work out back at home these days!

It has been a great experience for our whole family, the coaches are awesome and you can't beat the location...right on the beach. If you want a fun place to work out, where you'll make fast friends with everyone and be pushed to achieve things you never thought possible, this is the place. We love it!

Expérience fantastique: I have been training here for 2 years and just love it! The coaches are amazing. You can really tell that they want the best for you and they do their best for you. It has been great to see people’s transformations. This is like a second home. Everyone there is so supportive and encouraging of each other. It doesn’t matter if you have limited mobility and little strength, you can still take part in all of the WODs with a little modification and within a short time you will see yourself changing in leaps and bounds. And to top it all off, the location! To be able to run just a few strides into the lake after WOD is so refreshing.

The coaches are very knowledgeable and really seem to strive to be the best coaches/trainers in the Okanogan. They are very motivating and supportive towards everyone. All of the members are also supportive and really make Beach City Crossfit a comfortable place to workout. I've spent many years in many gyms and have not gotten the results I have from Crossfit. Crossfit has greatly improved my strength flexibility and endurance and continues to do so on a daily basis. I tried a drop in at a gym and found that after Crossfit any other workout is just plain boring. They could not have picked a better location being right on the beach at Skaha Lake. I would recommend Beach City Crossfit to anyone who wants to improve there health and physical fitness.
