Expérience fantastique: I've been going to Bambu for over a year now, and it has become my sanctuary. Every instructor is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. No matter how my day has gone, I always leave feeling relaxed. The welcoming atmosphere and positive energy make it easy to let go of stress and focus on myself. I’m grateful for the consistency and the support I receive when I step into the studio. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to unwind, strengthen, and grow in both body and mind.

Expérience fantastique: I think from the outside, I always felt a bit intimidated by hot yoga, like it was something specialized, or there was a scene of ultra flexible humans who I'd have to live up too. But I needed a big commitment in life to do something better for myself. I signed up for a year pass at Bambu. And what I found was not what I expected. Day in and day out, it is a room of humans all working hard to better themselves. The heat is this collective challenge that boths pushes you to grow, and humbles everyone. I've never been in a studio, where in every class, I feel like we are simply all in it together. The flexible, the stiff, the toned, the sweat soaked... pushing through to show up for one more pose. I feel so much gratitude for this place.... for all the teachers who hold space, and for every practitioner who shows up on their mat, to face the heat, to face ourselves, to grow. To share in a community commited to such a beautiful practice caries a feeling that is hard to put to words, but for certain I can say, thank you. Thank you so much for creating this space.

Expérience fantastique: A friend and I were staying in Nelson for a few days and needed a place to move our bodies. Bambu was above and beyond our expectations! The teachers were phenomenal. And even though I started on the waitlist, I always ended up getting into class. Classes were tough in a good way. I always left feeling stronger. HIGHLY recommend this studio.

Expérience fantastique: Beautiful clean and peaceful studio. I purchased a couple of classes and had to cancel one the day before because I threw my back out. The owner was flexible and nice about it which I really appreciated! I loved Emma’s class last night! Perfect amount of stretch, strength and balance for me. I like her cues and her approach to guiding the class. She kept an eye on how people were doing without being intrusive. Some classes are hot and others are "warm." I'll be working up to the hot - for now I just really loved the warm class, but I have a friend who swears by the hot. Thank you Kaila and Bambu team!

Expérience fantastique: Such a lovely space. The teachers and owner are friendly, welcoming and very skilled. I have a good friend who goes several times a week and invited me to come along. I had so much fun, and it is such great exercise! I would highly recommend this studio to anyone who is looking for a great way to rejuvenate their mind, body and spirit. One of the best yoga studio in Nelson for sure!

Expérience fantastique: Bambu is such a beautiful studio! It’s super central with a great offering of classes, from vinyasa to yin. My favourites are the Hot Set, Core Mobility and the Slow Flow! The instructors are really knowledgable and foster a beautiful community for Nelson. Highly recommend, you’ll love it!

The instructors and the space are warm and welcoming, and there are always enough props to help build yourself a little fort on those days when you're extra tight. Great class times and the mats they sell are . Going to the studio will make your day brighter, GUARANTEED!

Expérience fantastique: I completed my 200 hour hot yoga teacher training at Bambu this past summer and it was an amazing experience. Kaila and Natasha make a great team as teachers. They are approachable, relatable, and knowledgable. The space at Bambu is inclusive and welcoming with such a chill vibe. If you are looking to further your personal practice, or become a certified yoga teacher, I would highly recommend the 200 hour YTT training at Bambu.

The studio itself is well designed, clean, and always smells great thanks to essential oil diffusers. And the atmosphere is very welcoming and inclusive. Expérience fantastique: We have just moved in Nelson after crossing Canada in our RV, so we really needed take time for ourselves, stretch and relax. My wife and I each took the 2 week intro, and we've basically gone every 2 days or something, trying a bunch of different classes! We love the place! Heat level is perfect, the studio itself is inspiring and calm and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Oh yeah, and the music selection is the best I've ever heard in a yoga studio!

Bambu has helped my body through the recovery process of a severe injury. The staff is welcoming, kind and talented. The facility is beautiful and clean. I leave feeling revived and grateful to have this studio in our community.

Expérience fantastique: I tried their online yoga challenge pass for one month during COVID-19 when they weren't able to operate with a physical location. The pass was great value for money. A decent amount of class time and style options, and the online class solution they had was easy to use and looked well put together.

The studio is welcoming, the staff are professional and courteous, the instructors gentle, supportive, and offer modifications to help clients of all levels. I live in another city and have been spoiled, in the best way possible, by my experience at Bambu. I can't wait to get back and practice at Bambu!

Expérience négative: My girlfriend is a high end yoga instructor with over 3500 hrs of teaching hrs. We were staying with friends in Nelson and wanted a pleasant morning yoga experience so we stopped in to see the times and schedule of classes. When we walked I we were rudely informed before we even entered the foyer that they don't allow tourists in. I can understand the current situation with regard to COVID but the individual was very rude and condescending. There was absolutely no professionalism or anything yogi about the studio. We are looking at living in Nelson and sure hope the rest of the town is not as rude as this studio. Definitely smoke and hot mirrors at this place. Namaste!

Expérience fantastique: My first class here was a deeply relaxing yin class. A wonderful atmosphere, excellent teacher, and I found the temperature in the room perfect for this style of deep stretching (not too hot!). Looking forward to my next class already!
