Expérience fantastique: M Fitness is the perfect spot to get back into that shape you are looking for! The staff are super friendly and ready to help out. The trainers are happy and truly encourage you to achieve your goals with customized plans that adapt as you advance. The environment is super clean (towels provided), lockers available, hair dryers and straighteners in the changing room and everyone is really friendly - non intimidating gym to work out in. As a woman, this gym made me feel safe to achieve my fitness goals, in a motivating supportive environment. Highly recommend if you are looking for a cool gym on the Plateau!

Expérience positive: Super gym, le staff est sympa, la salle n’est jamais trop remplie et très bien équipée. Le seul point d’amélioration qui pourrai rendre l’expérience plus agréable serait une meilleure hygiène des toilettes qui sont perpétuellement salles et dégagent une forte odeur d’urine.

Expérience fantastique: Best gym in Montreal, will be starting my third year there in September. I've had memberships with commercial franchise gyms and M-Fitness is better - I don't consider it to be one of those commercial gyms. It is clean, well-equipped and safe (good supervision, whether by staff or security guards in the main building after hours, serious, respectful clients). I've never seen people fighting, filming videos or inviting non-members into our space - all of which I've seen in the big commercial 24-hour places. The equipment is very good - great old-school machines and lots of free weights in the two locations I've trained at, St-Laurent Boulevard and Decarie Square. I'm very hard to please - the owner has done a great job and I have decided to finally share my review after being a member since 2022.

Expérience fantastique: I've been going to this gym for a couple of sessions now. As a Concordia student, I have 50% off for LeGym at Concordia but I prefer to spend a bit more and work out here. The gym is clean, well equipped( has almost everything), all machines are functional, excellent atmosphere, and welcoming staff. It makes you want to come back tomorrow and train again! Updates: been going to MFitness for more than a month now. I like the gym very much. It's the right place to workout in peace and get back in shape. Highly recommended!

Expérience fantastique: I’ve been to my fair share of gyms and this one is definitely worth joining. Out of all the nearby gyms in the plateau, specifically Saint Laurent area, it is the best. The space is clean, bright and filled with equipment. It’s never extremely busy even on those specific hours you just need to find a time right for you. The staff is so kind and the people who work out here are like a community. I’ve felt the anxieties of joining a new gym or even starting but this gym never made me feel uncomfortable or judge compared to others. The owner Michel has been very supportive of my fitness journey, providing bandaids, grip gloves in hopes of helping my pull ups. The hours are also amazing which works perfect for any schedule. The bathrooms and locker rooms are so clean it’s a bit surprising and the equipment options are large. Also it doesn’t smell as horrible as econo and the windows are actually see through and not foggy! Enjoy these photos I took after my workout, as a photographer I really appreciated the decor.

Expérience fantastique: Excellent Gym, excellent service, excellent management. Les heures d’ouverture sont très intéressantes, le staff est gentil et la propreté est au rendez-vous. Le prix est très honnête pour les équipements et on ne sent pas qu’il y a trop de membres, même aux heures de pointe. Malheureusement je déménage mais j’espère trouver un gym aussi bien dans Villeray.

Expérience négative: Hey there, just dropping in to share some serious concerns about the 55 and 60-pound free weights at the gym. No kidding, these weights are a recipe for disaster. When folks are hitting the bench or doing military presses, these weights are hovering right above their heads. The unstable ends on these bad boys? Super risky. If they come loose, it's gonna be chaos. Imagine one crashing down on someone's face or head – we're talking potential skull fractures, brain injuries, smashed eyes, or worse. And if it's a broken nose or jaw, that means major reconstructive surgery and a brutal recovery period. Concussions are just the start of the problem. It's critical to address this hazard ASAP for the safety of all gym-goers!

Expérience fantastique: love the descarie mfitness and the st laurent one… both are a completely different experience and each have their strong points…. andrew and michel are fantastic… would love to see some 120lbs rubber dumbbells and a standing viking press!

Expérience fantastique: J adore cet endroit....ils viennent juste déménagé au 1er étage et ils n ont pas toute fini les rénovations..mais c est bien correct ..le personnel vraiment gentil...et c est tranquille..tu n attend pas après les machine et en plus c est à 2 min de la montagne..alors tu peux aller faire tes poid et après courir après dans la montagne..et s il pleut tu fait ton cardio à l intérieur...allez les encourager ..ils le mérite..

Expérience positive: Les employés sont gentils et la propreté est irréprochable. Mais les machines de cardios sont dépassées et en mauvais état, surtout les vélos. Le principal avantage du gym, c'est qu'il n'y a pas beaucoup de clients.

Expérience négative: Absolutely make sure to keep your copy of the contract if you sign up and be aware of the cancellation policy. I followed the cancellation in their own contract word for word. They lied, making up extra fees that I would have to pay to cancel (that were not anywhere in our contract), and pretending their own contract terms didn't apply. They also 'lost' my cancellation notice, and charged me an additional month which they've been refusing the refund me for. Their contract, and Quebec law is very clear on specific guidelines for cancelling a gym membership. I can't support a business who breaks customer laws.

Expérience négative: Was pretty satisfied with the gym until they decided to change their business model and charge existing customers for registration fees. When challenged, the answer I got was that they were in the rights to do that and didn’t care much about my complaint. I would never recommend a business treating their customers like this, poor management.

Expérience négative: I cancelled my contract and unfortunately they tried to charge fees that do not comply with Quebec law. I was lucky to call consumer protection before paying anything. Everything was figured out, but their customer management was really bad, would never recommend this place.

Expérience positive: Mediocre office building gym. Limited, basic equipment, little to no classes, simple facilities. Place is always clean though, and staff is pretty nice. They open early enough during the week, but weekend hours suck. Price isn't that great, but convenient if you work in the building. Meh.

Expérience négative: The staff is so nice and helpful but the management is cheap and therefore the machines are in a poor shape, although the price is quite high. This is a common pattern at m fitness unfortunately

Expérience négative: Work floor above them and sick of hearing weights being dropped on to the floor. After multiple complaints nothing changed, looks like a gym with poor ethics.

Expérience positive: Decent mid-sized gym.

Expérience fantastique: Great gym with modern equipment including a cross fit room. Showers have been changed recently. Staff is super nice and clients are cool. Not too crowded either which is a big plus!
