The gym I went to previously didn’t offer classes during the day anymore and due to my schedule, I was only able to train in the mornings or afternoons. So I figured -let’s try this gym out. I could not be any happier. I found a second home. I love the style of Muay Thai that they teach. I love the atmosphere. I love the people. I love the every aspect of MMT. I went from 201 pounds to 178.8 currently. I can’t say enough good things about MMT. I am just so glad I found this gym. I LOVE Muay Thai and am completely addicted to it. Expérience fantastique: I was looking for something with a regular schedule to challenge me and help me achieve a healthier lifestyle, and was advised that muay thai might be a fun thing to try. I was apprehensive.. an older solo person, inactive physicslly and with zero experience - it was very intimidating to walk through the door.. but push yourself to do it! You will not regret it. I have been going steadily to beginner classes since April, and have always found the staff supportive, patient, and very welcoming. I have, in 8 months achieved more than I was able with a year of gym with a personal trainer. I feel good, more confident, and glad to have stumbled into MMT and would highly recommend it to anyone.

I joined over 2 years ago and I have seen myself grow physically and mentally. I made friends who turned into my family and continuously grow with them everyday. They also have classes from 6am all the way to 7pm, provide for ages as young as 3 years old, and an all women's class so there is something for everyone.

And I can say that there were quite a few of us who were on that same boat. The gym is a bit of a drive for me but I make the distance so that I am able to keep training with them.

Not your average generic global gym, instead it offers a niche and premium product with great coaches and classes. The facility is clean, well maintained and organized. Amazing vibe, totally judgemental free, no matter your experience level/background everyone gets equal personal attention. I personally have lost over 20 lbs and seen improvement in my stamina and endurance. Highly recommend this place for overall improvement of mental & physical health & achieving fitness goals. I was immediately greeted by Julia who took me on a short tour of the gym. They have a good sized weight room, lots of merchandise and a large open space for Muay Thai practice. I immediately felt like I belonged; there was a calm and collective aura to this place. I signed up! UPDATE: they updated the schedule, better timing and more flexible.

So all these reviews are paid for basically, so dont trust it. Also Muay thai is all about commitment and training, in this gym its only about money, once you pay you cant get it back no matter what. in terms of training, its ok if instructor shows up on time first of all. Many times student are there and no one to teach. Or if someone is there, he is mostly on the phone, i think he is the owner of the Gym. Mostly he is on the phone while teaching. No one gives a Sh.. about your training here. I have been there and know many guys from there. Many left cus its only about money. No need to waste money on it, many better gyms out there. Pay a bit high somewhere else no problem, but pay someone who actually regards your money and efforts to come to gym.

Expérience fantastique: I found Milton Muay Thai online through Instagram while looking for a Muay Thai place that was close to me. I live in Hamilton and there isn't any traditional Muay Thai places here in Hamilton at all. Seeing Milton Muay Thai on Instagram I had to go try it out because the gym looked beautiful and had lots of space and did traditional eight limbs combat. I reached out to the owner Rommel and he was very welcoming through our conversations which only gave me more desire to try out the gym. This being in the time of covid-19, I came to the gym to see safe protocols in place and everyone naturally spaced out the proper distance so I felt safe and knowing that they took all the right precautions. I'm very new at Muay Thai even though I used to do it 20 years ago in Toronto, I didn't feel intimidated by the coaches or any of the other participants. I had an amazing workout and decided right then and there that this was the gym for me. Each time I come to class I get more excited each and every time to learn something new and get a great workout. This is a place that helps me with my physical fitness and my mental health and well-being, not to mention the smiles on everyone's face during and after class. It's such a great environment and has such an amazing community of people that make you feel welcomed and make you feel like you belong. I loved it so much that I brought my wife and my daughter to try it out as well and they also had an amazing experience. So it's not only my place of refuge for myself, but also a place for my family as well. The gym is adequately stocked with heavy bags gym equipment and weights to get a full workout. It also has a shop for merchandise and equipment such as gloves, shorts, hand wraps and all other Muay Thai fighting equipment. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get in shape and stay fit as well as maintaining good mental health and belong to a great community of people.

Neither had any Muay Tai or boxing experience going in, but the coaches made them feel welcome from day 1. The coaches showed patience, taught them technique and provided encouragement along the way - not to mention always giving them an amazing work out. This is a family run business and their commitment, passion and integrity shines through in everything they do. Would not hesitate to highly recommend Milton Muay Thai.

My lack of experience didn't make even an iota of a difference in how I was welcomed and treated like family from day 1. The per month cost is SUPER affordable compared to the THOUSANDS that go into 1-on-1 personal training at any commercial gym. Its only been 4 months, but Milton Muay Thai feels like home.

Expérience négative: Signed up my son Lucas M. Unfortunately was not what I expected. He did not like it and only attended 3 or 4 classes. We decided to cancel membership after 2 weeks and was told they can’t refund but only credit back one month of payment if he decides to go back which I know he won’t so basically I paid for all this equipment and paid for 2 months of membership only to be told that they can’t refund anything if it’s past 7 days of signing up. It’s unfortunate because any professional establishment would consider at least refunding a partial amount back as we only went past by 7 days of what the contract says which I did not get a copy. Anyone considering signing up I suggest if you want to back out then make sure to get a copy and do it before the 7 days. Also they offer 1 day trial to try it out which most places have a free 1 week trial so at least it gives you enough time to commit. Nonetheless it shows there in it more for the money rather then for the kids and not very understanding when it comes to situations like this

The positive energy and words of encouragement from the trainers make you feel like part of the club and they are always inclusive to everyone in the class no matter what your experience is. Also love the personal corrections offered during the technical classes. I have felt very welcomed and part of the team since the first class I took. 10 plus on all accounts. Expérience fantastique: I train here Monday to Saturday and I absolutely LOVE it! The owner Kru Rommel is absolutely phenomenal, he’s so knowledgable, friendly and caring. The environment is so great here, everyone is friendly, encouraging and push each other to be a better version of themselves. I LOVE this gym. Since I joined my Muay Thai and striking skills have improved immensely and I’m way more confident in myself and I’ve lost almost 40 lbs in the past 7 momths. There’s also Brazilian Jiu Jitsi classes offered. If you’re looking to learn martial arts from experts, get fit and be healthy and have fun, Milton MuayThai is the place to be. I highly recommend!

They offer a variety of programs from BJJ to muay and boxing. All the instructors care and put time into helping your techinique improve on a daily bases.
