Expérience positive: GREAT staff, facilities, everything you need! LOUSY client gym etiquette. Staff cannot keep up with weights being put away improperly by clientele, and people have even come to bother me in the middle of my sets. Never have I ever visited a gym so poorly treated by the clientele, and a facility like this one deserves much more respect than it is given. Unfortunately, minus 1 star. Need to put up signs or something for people to put their weights back properly.

Expérience négative: Update about Cut Fitness Theft: After our disagreement below, I realized the owner double charged me for the hidden membership fee. I returned to have it credited. He refused, yelled at me, and even shoulder bumped me as he walked by like some high school meat head. Bait and Switch, Horrid Service: The gym is close to the college and has a certain clientele, like the owner. I was in town for a week caring for two parents in hospital and sought a place to exercise. The front counter kids bait and switched me into a biweekly membership after I asked what the most affordable way to pay for 5 days was. About to pay when suddenly "oh yeah, that also requires a $55 fee as well.” Anyhow, I was sharp toned yet never swore or raised my voice. They say I was rude. Poor snowflakes. After muscle head owner finished wheeling a group of three young (too young for him and his deep tan) he eventually pulled me from the floor and demanded I speak with him. He ordered me to leave. His biz, his rules. So be it. They tried to refund me too much $ so I had to correct them and give some back. We shall see if they go bankrupt like their predecessors.

Expérience fantastique: Great Gym and awesome atmosphere. The equipment is top notch and the layout is great. Dumbbells up to 150lbs even!

Expérience positive: Recently made the switch from this gym from the YMCA. Few good things. Not as crowded. Very convenient. 24hr! The bad. The woman’s only section doesn’t have high weights.. like downstairs. Only goes up to 30 pounds.. forcing me to workout downstairs. Second the one female staff is not really nice like at all. Doesn’t seem welcoming.. almost seems annoyed when I say hi to her like come on where’s the friendly customer service everyone expects when they walk into any gym.

Expérience fantastique: I enjoy mountain biking, but can’t any longer due to old injuries. After a couple years of side eying e bikes and a year of looking, I decided to try Cut fitness. I test rode an Aventon Aventure, but wanted to try a smaller frame. Vince had one in a box, was happy to assemble it, and I left with it an hour later. In my opinion, you will not find a better combination of design, quality, price and service for electric bikes anywhere in Lethbridge.

This request to staff that ensure everyone should be respectful to each other. Being international student we use to struggle here, we are also paying. So , show some respect. Thank you

Expérience fantastique: Was In Lethbridge for a few days on business and checked this place out. Awesome awesome gym. They had great attachements for the pulley machines. A few unique pieces of equipment ex plate loaded seated dip, plate loaded pull over, peck dek but the kind with the elbow pads, plate loaded deadlift shrug bulgarians. Good space for stretching kettle bell and body weight machines. Lots of foam rollers. Good dressing room. Just a pleasant experience I didn't wanna leave

Expérience fantastique: Great atmosphere to work out in, with staff that go above and beyond. I’ve been a member of Cut Fitness for about six months now, and they continue to add new equipment and have a solid steam room. Overall fantastic experience here!

Expérience négative: Overall, nice facility with lots of equipment and space which is nice when it’s busier time. Overall I can get my workout done without trouble. BUT the people the are VERY toxic. Very egotistical and disrespectful to others. This gym needs to build a better community and support others no matter their level of experience. When a person is using a certain machine or space. Let them. Don’t come in asking to use it when I’m mid set. This is common sense. And dangerous when someone is lifting heavy weights. ALSO. Be kinder to each other. What I’ve experienced myself is coming to better myself and leaving feeling worse. Feeling disrespected and disgusted with how people act in the gym. We are all humans, nothing makes anyone better than the next person. Be kind, respectful, supportive and most importantly be humble.

Expérience fantastique: Best gym in Lethbridge. Vince and Trina are so friendly and helpful, prices are right and steam room is a bonus. Equipment is wonderfully kept, you can always see a staff member doing some kind of cleaning at the gym (vacuuming, mopping, change rooms, cleaning sanitation bottles, etc). Love having an individual sanitation bottle and cloth to take around with me instead of having to get up and go get a wipe from somewhere after every machine. Lots of equipment options, and loved the woman only area when I was first starting and less confident working out around so many people. Other gym members are really sweet, feels like no judgement even coming from anyone and they are super polite and have great gym etiquette. BCAA slurpees and protein ice cream are a bonus, as well as pre-workout, protein bars, different drinks, etc sold at the front. Makes going to the gym feel luxury and not like a chore.

Expérience négative: The people that own this place are horrible ! They cut off my fob access WHILE STILL TAKING MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT because I didn't show proof of vaccination. They had the nerve to actually leave a voicemail saying my friend and I "piggy backed" off another member who let us in as they were leaving. Piggy backing? We were already paying to go there !!!!!

Expérience négative: Their website claims “No contracts, no penalty for cancellation (just because we're that confident you won't want to leave!)”. Yet fails to mention that that require 10days notice or they will charge you for an extra month’s membership despite not having access. Staff were both condescending and rude any time questions were raised about billing.

Expérience fantastique: This gym has been wonderful. They have an awesome powerlifting station with squat racks and deadlift platforms, as well as a jungle gym and turf area. I have a kinesiology degree and previous memberships at many different gyms and find this facility to be top notch. I am coming off of a broken ankle and I am able to do my physiotherapy and ease back into lifting some heavy weights again! My girlfriend appreciates the women's section, and I am always impressed with how clean the gym area is.

Expérience fantastique: Not bragging or anything, but CUT Fitness is the best gym and group of staff in Lethbridge I went to most gyms here and I like it, but Cut fitness is the “Go” to. They are very friendly and very accommodating since day 1. All smiles whenever I see them, and the atmosphere is really nice and welcoming. Never discriminated someone, all people are treated fair and equal. Just need to follow rules from the government and nothing is wrong with that. They always think of something to improve the gym, get new equipments and also a new steam room! Plus 24/7 since Covid as long as we get vaccinated! What else can you ask for? Very approachable, hard working people and they let me charge my apple Airpods too :p haha 5/5 stars all day ♥️

Expérience fantastique: Great 24/7 Gym. I was previously a member of Golds gym at this location when it was bought out by the current owners. The gym has had a serious uplift to anyone who has been there when it used to be a golds gym. Better placement of machines, new powerlifting area, upgraded changerooms that include a new steam room. The gym now offers classes throughout the week and staff are extremely helpful whether it be questions regarding memberships, or asking them to make a cold protein/bcaa slurpee after a hard workout. Memberships are a great price and are offered with no contracts. Come give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Expérience négative: I was going to this gym regularly before I had to leave town on business, which I do frequently. I spoke to a staff member and asked if I could pause my membership indefinitely as I was unsure when I would return, she said it was no problem and she could do so. I was charged in December & now in January. I phoned to inquire as to why I was being charged and the staff member was extremely rude to me. She accused me of lying about pausing my membership, even though I had not been charged for October or November and she proceeded to lecture me about what every other gym does in the city and how her staff members know the policies and that they don’t offer indefinite pausing and instead request cancellation - Which they did not do. She then asked me why I hadn’t checked my bank statements sooner! Statements come out at the beginning of a new month, and I just looked it over today and saw the charge and checked my bank account to see the second charge as it was charged at the beginning of the month. I attempted to explain this to her and she said that it’s my fault and I deserved to be charged! I was planning on going back to this gym when I got back to town because they have a nice facility, but since this is how they treat their customers, I think I’ll go somewhere where the people are kind, professional & able to assist a customer out with an issue instead of launching accusations & playing the blame game!

Expérience fantastique: Cutfitness is the best gym in Lethbridge in my opinion. It is absurd to think that few people would rate this gym poorly and leave a bad review. Well in fact, it is truly the opposite. It is far better gym than it was before. The owners and staffs are really great. It has a great atmosphere and also you would see them cleaning the facility all the time. Some people gets annoyed about the vaccination? That's crazy. The owners and cutfitness family only wants safety first and protection of people's health. This gym is the best and it is only getting better everyday.

Expérience fantastique: Cut Fitness new ownership has really improved the overall cleanliness and morale in the gym. The new owners are constantly cleaning and really trying to make the gym a better place. They just spent a ton of money fixing up the old steam room (Gutted to the studs and rebuilt). Overall great place to work out and you cant beat the anytime access.

Expérience négative: I went here for a few months early this year while I was working down in Lethbridge. The facility and equipment are nice, and my experience while I was actually going there was fine. The issue is when I stopped going. I haven't been there since May, and had confirmed with the staff at the front desk that I would not be returning and confirmed that I wouldn't need to make any further payments (I was never on a contract, and just paid month-to-month as I came due to not knowing when that work would end). All was fine until recently, they started to hound me over texts and emails that a full months payment was due again, even though I still hadn't returned. When I was at the gym in May telling them that I wouldn't be returning, there was no mention of any forms/email that would need to be sent, but now suddenly since that hadn't been done I owed. After insisting that the person that I talked to clearly didn't know this and the mistake wasn't on me, they just started bringing up being sent to collections if I didn't etransfer them the money. Nice facility, but the usual sketchy gym cancellation policies make it not worth it. Don't give them your money

Expérience fantastique: Vince and Trina (owners) are the best thing that ever happened to this gym. They take pride in their gym and it shows. When they took over the gym the first thing they did was get rid of broken equipment, bring in better equipment, and clean the place! They maintain that standard to this date. I can't think of a single piece of equipment in there that isn't in proper working order or has torn upholstery. The rates are more than fair. This is a respectable gym with owners who care about their members. Don't let the 1 star reviews left by people with no further feedback fool you. They are just people who are upset that the gym is pro vaccine.

Expérience fantastique: Gym kept clean all times. Very spacious and machines are well kept. Friendly staff that walk you through the facility and answer all your questions. They have reasonably rates but keep and mind that you can use the steam room when you get membership. It’s been a month so far and overall I like to workout out here and I will recommend people to come here

Expérience fantastique: My wife and I recently purchased e-bikes from CUT Fitness and couldn't be happier with the experience. We researched a lot of brands and were pleasantly surprised that the Surface 604 bikes that are made in Vancouver were available here in Lethbridge. We not only got a better warranty with our bikes than other brands but also being able to receive after sales service locally was really important to us. I had a noise develop in my rear brakes and Vince corrected the problem quickly. So glad we didn't have to leave Lethbridge to get the bikes we wanted. Would highly recommend anyone interested in e-bikes to check out what is available at CUT Fitness!

The equipment there runs good and they have alot of various machines. I love the womens only if it's too busy. They have a great change room and steam room and the gum is always so clean. Vince and Trina run a great gym and a steam room was just added as well. Very impressive for a very low monthly monthly rate. Highly recommend

I am a nurse and work long shift hours, the gym is always clean never super busy, I don’t have to wait for certain machines or equipment and I can access it 24/7. They are so helpful going above and beyond to assist. I remember last time I was their my cordless headphones died and needed charging, I asked if they by chance had an iPhone charger and they did. They happily charged it for me while I continued my workout. Best gym in Lethbridge.!!!

Expérience fantastique: Of all the gyms I have been to in Lethbridge, this is my favourite. It has a terrific friendly and inclusive culture. Its clean, well maintained, lots of light and windows - its cheerful! So many gyms feel sterile and kind of depressing. The steam room is wonderful, I love the women's only space, and there is a smaller enclosed place for powerlifting. There are lots of machines, weights, benches, etc. and well-placed mirrors. I have almost never had to wait for the squat rack, even at peak times. I've been to the YMCA (both locations), the YWCA, and Lethbridge Fitness Club, they all have some of these aspects, but Cut Fitness has them all. Love it!

No more sketchy contracts but simple payment for when you want a membership. Really appreciate the straight forward good business they are doing. Very reasonable rates I must add as well. How clean it is is what keeps me coming back.

Expérience fantastique: I have been frequenting gyms my whole life, some 40 plus years and Cut Fitness ( formerly Golds gym ) for the last ten years.The new owners have made a good gym even better. The gym is clean, equipment is promptly repaired and new equipment has recently been installed. The general “ vibe “ of the gym is the best part with a unique blend of young and old, leave your ego at the door type of facility. I have been to lots of gyms over the years some good, some bad. I recommend Cut Fitness, or at least give it a try.

Staff and the owners were very considerate in pausing a membership as we didn’t know when we would be able to come back but we definitely were coming back!!! VERY friendly staff and Trina and Vince are very knowledgeable owners of this gym and will do everything in their power to have you learn as you work your body. I recommend that everyone goes to this gym, even if it is just a drop in. A drop in will have you change your mind to a full membership for sure! :)
