Expérience fantastique: I'm there every day I'm in kitimat. Typically around 5:30am usually 2-4 other people, no waiting for equipment. The men's change room has two showers. There is a cardio area upstairs and a plethora of free weights and machines downstairs. No mirrors though so form feedback is non existent unfortunately but the monthly price is very reasonable.

Expérience positive: It's a good gym for a small town. Gives off the old school training gym kinda vibes. But it has sooooo much wasted space. And some of the equipment feels old and could be fixed/replaced. Whole back area with 8 machines no one really uses could be turned into the free weight area. Then behind that is another huge area with a random punching bag lol and tons more wasted space. They need some more plate weighted machines back there or a standing cable machine thrown in the mix! Also why the heck is there no more weight trees??! It sucks because if that was fixed the weight room area would be less crammed and be way better! Place needs a bit of a face lift but overall I def like going there and it has pretty much anything you need!

Expérience fantastique: It's nothing fancy but does the job. Never overly busy and people are generally very respectful of others' space. Quiet and clean.

Expérience fantastique: Love this place. I came to Kitimat with my GF as she is doing a one month rotation at Kitimat General and was worried about not having access to weights. Kitimat gym exceeded my expectations. They have plenty of weights and the gym is never too busy. They have Squat racks 3 Assisted squat rack 1 Benches 2 Incline benches 1 Deadlift platform 1 Preacher curl bench 1 Dumbbells up to 100 lbs ( I think more but not too sure) Machines for both upper body and lower body The cardio selection is kind of lacking (only one stair climber, a few treadmills and ellipticals, and a few bikes) but if you want to run you might as well go on a hike! I'm only going to be here for a month but for a gym in a small town I couldn't be happier.

Expérience positive: Small gym with all the equipment / weight for a great workout. It gets really hot in there, buy the amazing staffs keep the doors open and it helps a lot

Expérience fantastique: Super cleanly space with all the machines you need and more. Friendly staff and reasonable rates, such a pleasant visit! Will be back if/when I return to Kitimat :)
