The strength training coupled with our Trail Running training has helped be become stronger and recovery faster (WAY FASTER). It’s been a massive improvement in strength and fitness. Expérience fantastique: This place is amazing! I can't say enough about Liz (and all the staff). They know their stuff. The attention to detail is remarkable. They get to know you, your body and any issues you might have. They start you off on a "one-to-one" for a few weeks. Then, if you choose, you move into a group setting. Whatever you need re: fitness, they're there to assist. You won't be disappointed.

Whether it be 120km Grand Fondo or strengthening my body so I can get out of a chair while I age. Liz always asks how my body is feeling at the beginning of my session to make any adjustment to my training that day. Her attention to form, to work the right muscle is always on point. Expérience fantastique: I have had 215 sessions with Liz, Pam and Rosie since I started. I never used to think I had time to go to the gym. But now I dont want to miss going to my personal training sessions. Most importantly they have made me stronger physically and mentally. Expérience fantastique: I started working out with Rosie Mullen at Team Fitness two years ago. I needed someone to help me lose my pandemic weight gain. We accomplished that plus 10 additional pounds. Rosie tailored workouts suited to me, working around any aches and pains and progressively increasing weights. A year ago, I told Rosie I wanted to start running again, she focused workouts to help me meet that goal too. Now I can run 10k. I really enjoy working with Rosie and look forward to our continued successes

Expérience fantastique: Rosie has forever changed my experience of fitness to be something that I feel motivated to show up for, even on those days I'm not feeling my best. Her sensitivity and willingness to meet me where I'm at on any given day, allows me to continue to show up consistently. When I need it, she uplifts my mindset with genuine compassion, and supports me to continue to commit to my fitness. She also helps to educate me about my movements so that I can understand how to work within a safe range, given my pre-existing injuries, while still building solid gains. Expérience fantastique: I met Liz at a Women's Mountain Bike Day event where I learnt about her clinics. I attended her Beginner Clinic the following Saturday and cannot say enough good things. Liz did a phenomenal job at teaching the basic body positioning, breaking, gear shifting and a bit of turns. As someone who has been biking for the last year but struggled to continue to see progress she was able to help me realize where I was going wrong and start to fix bad habits! Her detailed corrections and encouragement throughout the clinic has helped build my confidence on the my bike. Thank you so much for a great day!

Expérience fantastique: In August 2010 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and then 10 weeks later I received a second diagnosis of leukemia. For the next year and a half I underwent surgery, 7 months of IV chemo and 27 radiation treatments. In December 2012 at an appt with my family doctor I said " we need to talk about the elephant in the room and that elephant is me"! I was 60 lbs overweight and I was scared. Something happened during my cancer journey. I had realized that I had a strong will to survive when I was faced with two life threatening illnesses. A cancer diagnosis provides a clarity like no other. I knew I needed to change my life in order to live my life going forward. My doctor and I discussed exercise options and he said " I want you to join a gym and start working out 5 days a week. If you're able to get a trainer to help you get started that would be very helpful" I remember thinking 5 days a week is beyond excessive, maybe 5 days a month is something I can do. I started doing my research, went to a few gyms to interview potential trainers and nothing felt right...until I walked into Team Fitness and I knew instantly it was the right fit for me. There was a vibe in the room, I can't explain it other than to say if felt like success, it felt like goals were being met, and it felt very safe. I met and talked with Liz Sage for over an hour, we essentially interviewed one another. I told her what my goals were, that I needed to get healthy, I needed to lose 60 lbs and that I needed help to get there. She listened to my story and then she explained what her role would be in setting up an exercise program and working with me. For the first time in awhile I was actually excited about something. I knew that I was in the best hands with a trainer that had extensive knowledge, experience, and compassion. We started working together 2 days later and I began to exercise 5 days a week, with personal sessions with Liz twice a week. Within 1 year I had lost 60 lbs, had strength and was LIVING, not just surviving! Liz and I will be celebrating our 11 year anniversary of working out together this December! I work with Liz 2 times a week and I became part of a community that supports and inspires one another. Liz and her team, as well as many of her clients have encouraged me in my fitness journey for over a decade. I take what I have learned in the gym and I apply it in real world. I bike, I hike, and I enjoy a healthy, nutritious diet. My oncologist told me a few years after I joined Team Fitness that by changing my lifestyle, losing the weight, and exercising daily that I have significantly reduced my risk of a cancer recurrence. Wow! If that's not motivation to keep moving, then I don't know what is! Being a client at Team Fitness, working with Liz and her team, and being part of a fun community that supports and encourages each other has not only changed my life, but it saved my life and gave me another chance at living!

Expérience fantastique: We have been training with Liz and her team since 2005 and attribute much of our health and fitness to that. Coming in regularly keeps us motivated and accountable. The workouts are customized to our abilities, fitness level and sometimes current ailments (for instance I have a bad back and even if it is sore, I manage to get in a workout without aggravating it). Our training sessions are always varied, always challenging, and always fun! We even get home-training programmes for when we travel (and could do remote training sessions if needed). I think training with Liz (and now Rosie) has been life-changing and is absolutely worth it; we can only highly recommend it to everyone! Michael Holzhey

Expérience fantastique: I just finished a 4 week mountain biking skills training with Liz. She took us back to the basics and built up from there. My climbing and downhill improved right from the first week. Each week Liz gave us skills to practice that improved our biking abilities and confidence. She took plenty of videos of us practicing the skills each week and sent them to us in a group format so we learned from each other in session and during the week. Liz commented on the videos as well. It was a fun learning experience and I'm looking forward to taking more clinics from Liz or any member of Team Fitness Personal Training

Expérience fantastique: I wanted to be able to learn a new sport to keep up with my teenage son but felt a bit nervous and overwhelmed with learning how to ride a "real" mountain bike. The Chicks course was exactly what I needed to gain confidence in learning how to climb, use my front brakes, when to use the dropper post, and how to ride! After taking the weekend clinic, I was so much more confident on my next ride and had more fun instead of worrying! Would highly recommend Coach Liz' skill camps and look forward to learning more from her!

Expérience fantastique: I havent done any personal training sessions here but I can say the gym is pristine. Like, the gym probably smells better than most peoples cars. The changerooms are always very clean and its easy to get in and use the equipment you need and get out. The environment is really accepting, friendly, and you dont feel uncomfortable going there as a female.

Recently, I have been doing personal training workouts with Pam. She is friendly, professional and fun. Each workout is a new routine, so it is never boring. Expérience fantastique: I spent a lot of time and money for issues related to a shoulder injury as well as an Achilles tendon issue. I was referred to Liz and it was the best thing that happened in terms of my healing. Liz is so knowledgeable and so aware of what needs to be strengthened and in what order. I had some previous bad experiences with personal trainers as they did not pay attention to what I said or how I performed the exercises. Liz is the BEST! I'm delighted with how much I have strengthened and how I can do things which I did not believe I could do, such as incorporating weights in my workout. Because I did not have correct posture, I would always injure myself more than any benefit I received from a trainer. I feel very lucky to have found Liz!

This year, I have needed Liz's experience and training to coach me with strengthening for a hip injury. Her knowledge and careful guidance have been amazing. I am so impressed with her talent for understanding and progressing strengthening programs for each individual's needs.

The reason Team Fitness is so good is because they offer something that no other fitness & training center does. They combine training and skill development for every level of person with the same degree of passion and inspiration. Liz is a competitive athlete so if you want a hard work out, you can get it. She's also a coach and a teacher and understands all of the things that get in the way of committing to fitness and training. And, she pays close attention to technique - the way you do an exercise really matters. I've seen Liz work with overweight people, clients with chronic disease, and full-on athletes. It's just a great experience.

I presented at the Team Fitness facility with a number of muscular skeletal problems. As I had worked out diligently for most of my life , I believed that that I was strong and well balanced muscularily. After a thorough initial assessment I realized that this was not true. Posture and muscular imbalances were actually at the root of my physical problems. After 2 years of diligently training with Liz two times per week and training on my own using the knowledge and training techniques Liz has provided me with, all of my physical imbalances have largely been resolved. My quality of life has improved dramatically! As I continue to train with Liz I realize that EVERY training session I learn something new and continually improve my technique. Expérience fantastique: I crushed two discs in my back about a year ago, putting my future mountain biking and skiing activities in question. I retained Liz Sage of Team Fitness to help me repair the damage and restore my ability to continue with my favorite sports. The results have been amazing, although one has to diligently follow the program outlined by the personal trainer. It's hard work but worth it and, based upon everything I've heard and read, far more successful than surgery. I'm back on my bike and skis and am more fit and healthier today than I've been most of my life. Liz has been patient and supportive, always ensuring that the fitness program she develops avoids potential re-injury and setbacks. Thanks to Team Fitness for their help.
