Expérience positive: I have been going to this gym for a few months now. It has a ton of machines, but not very organized and needs more space to do more free weights and workouts. The classes are great and the group fitness leaders always have such motivational energy. I just had a bad experience with a staff member at the front desk, so I believe some staff expectations should be gone over.

Expérience négative: Lots of machine, great community. Give me a full day and 5 of your staff and I’ll rearrange the machine into sections that make more sense. Going around 2 floors looking for machines that should be near each other. You have the ability to be a 5 stars + gym. Some reorganization is required.

Expérience fantastique: It’s a good gym but I’m leaving this review because of this blonde girl staff member. She was so nice to me and went above and beyond. I had forgotten something and it was already after hours and she stayed behind just to ensure I got my belongings back! I always felt welcomed here at the gym but now I feel especially cared for. Great place and even better staff.

Expérience positive: Lots of squat racks, benches and deadlift platforms and tons of machines and free weights to use, this place will get the job done and has everything you need. Lots of equipment is old and worn however, taking away the eccentric portion of the movement, or there’s no tension or ROM. Not as inclined to use the sauna/hot tub because unclothed old men and the price is a little steep to me. That being said I love the gym and would say it’s a good place to go, the atmosphere and staff are excellent just needs a little updating.

Expérience fantastique: The yoga classes at Global are fantastic! One of the instructors Kate is absolutely amazing. I love going to her weekly hatha classes. Darcia’s rope yoga is also a favourite. There’s a variety of yoga classes and it’s just a great gym overall. I recommend you check them out!

Expérience négative: Its a gym, its got equipment so that's a plus. But for the membership price you'd expect things like, new equipment, and stuff that's not constantly out of order. Or a water fountain that functions or at the very least isn't giving out warm water. Not to mention the constant leaking from the pipes, buckets everywhere when it rains. Overall its an ok gym but for over $50 per month its a little ridiculous

Expérience positive: I like the gym but man could the equipment use an update. The cables don’t glide nicely and the machines are missing weight adjuster pins… some seats on machines are a struggle to adjust. The space is nice though, two floors is awesome and they do have lots of good amenities

Expérience négative: Canceled my membership recently. Been training for 15 years, never have I seen a gym with more equipment and plumbing issues than this one. 60 bucks a month and I feel limited to what exercises I can do, what cardio machines I can use, and even the cleanliness of the facility. If I could give less than one star i would.

Expérience négative: It’s disappointing that I have to write this review as Ive tried to cancel my membership from October 2023 with valid government Id showing my address in Alberta. It's frustrating when a gym fails to honor cancellation requests, especially when providing valid identification. The persistent charges despite your efforts reflect poorly on their customer service and raise concerns about their business practices. I continue to get automatically charged to this date. In addiction, Ive called the gym numerous times to talk to the manager and was told the only way to contact is email.

Expérience fantastique: Great gym, did a drop in over the holidays. Front end girl (blond girl) was super helpful and bubbly. Luv the space and size of the gym and all the equipment.

Expérience négative: Staff mock and ridicule gym goers AND THEIR OWN PERSONAL TRAINERS behind their back and don't have the decency to wait until they're out of earshot. Don't waste your time here, the equipment isn't good enough to justify the price.

Expérience négative: The worst run gym I have encountered in over 30 years! Dirty,unsafe, rules not enforced and a manager who clearly does not respond to issues dealing with disability.Avoid at all costs.

Expérience positive: Good gym with a varied, but young, positive atmosphere. Staff are friendly and repairs are made relatively quickly.

They have a big selection of gym equipment. Spin class is fun, a beautiful yoga area. Overall, it's a great gym. The general vibe is friendly.. all types there for sure.

Expérience fantastique: I’ve been going to Global for over a year now and I love it! The space is huge with multiple pieces of equipment and the classes are great! They go above and beyond for their clients as well, example being setting up bleacher seating for the squash tournament. Keep it up Global Staff!

Expérience positive: Decent gym lots of very old equipment that needs so maintenance. Lots of redundant machines. Could use a few more peckdeck machines but side from that the gym is huge.

Expérience négative: It’s a classic Kelowna gym. However, in comparison to other facilities now in the city it is severely lacking. Dirty. Old equipment. Bad layout. Unclear business model - if any. Building screams “it’ll work”

Expérience négative: As a long time member, I resigned. Decent facility, however in need of a major facelift. The staff are generally horrible and unprofessional and robotic, bordering on creepy! Customer service is lacking managerial direction. Some staff are caring but that’s rare. Unfortunate that many people feel this is the best facility in Kelowna.

Expérience fantastique: Best gym in Kelowna. Clean workout space, multiple squash and tennis courts, friendly/welcoming staff. Two levels of equipment with turf upstairs for all you cross-fit people. Been coming to this gym since 2001 and has always been my go-to. Did I mention the steam room and dry sauna?

Expérience fantastique: Great staff. Sure the facility is huge and the new updates are impressive, but it's the quality people on staff that really make this gym stand out. From the front desk staff to the personal trainers and class instructors, Global Fitness is a great place to be. On those days where you are 50/50 on working out, the atmosphere and people at Global makes you want to go.

Expérience fantastique: I usually go to Global for Squash, and I really like it. Staff are very friendly, and the gym is always clean.

Expérience fantastique: Hands down the best gym in town. The staff is super friendly and polite. They offer the best facilities. Probably have all the equipment x3 so never have to wait for anything even during busy hours. They have squash courts, ping pong tables and indoor tennis courts. If you don’t work out here you are missing out.

Expérience positive: Really cool massive facility, so much equipment! Only complaint is no windows and the paint smell. One of the better gyms in town hands down!

Expérience négative: The management of this Gym is terrible by changing so many rules of tennis booking. They said something today and change next day. Don't trust what they say . It will be changed next day.

Expérience négative: So "Due to COVID" I cannot drop in, one time, or do a week long trial to try a gym i've never been too, BUT, if i PAY a $100 dollar sign-up fee, PLUS a $68 dollar monthly fee, I am MORE than welcome to come and spread my germs as much as I want for an entire month, no questions asked? "because we have to be careful?" Logic is absent here, but the money speaks clearly.

Expérience positive: It is great to be back at Global. Although there is a few added restrictions due to the pandemic, it is still a great place to go for a workout. There is more than enough equipment and the staff are always friendly and willing to assist.

It's a bit more expensive, but Global Fitness offers a student rate and has a vast assortment of machines and free-weights. During non-peak hours I able to access whatever machine I want without waiting, which is a top priority for me when working out.

Expérience négative: One time we all arrive at 5:30 only to find the front doors locked. No one was there. It was the least professional situation I have ever encountered. Now they have a very disrespectful front desk staff. It used to be pretty good but Alex is beyond the pale terrible at customer service. I forgot my boots and had to wear my clean indoor shoes from the cramped parking lot to the gym on a dry day. After I entered the gym she asked I change my shoes even though the shoes are clean and dry. Global Gym selectively enforces their rules. They let their favorite instagram customers do whatever they want such as slamming weights around for no reason. Regular people are treated poorly in my experience.

I feel safe working out here, the time slots work for me and happy the showers are back open. I really like the amount of space and equipment this gym offers and the allowance for Med Ball Slams

They follow an excellent route cleaning schedule and being open until 10:30pm works great with my schedule. The gym has lots of space and fitness equipment on both floors. The machines are well maintained and always available to be used. All the staffing are awesome, Nick and Jordan are super friendly and knowledgeable behind the desk. 10/10

It is extremely professionally managed, and the atmosphere is very welcoming for people of all athletic abilities. In particular, the squash group is always happy to see new members getting into the sport. No other facility in Kelowna even comes close to offering the range of options for keeping fit well having a great time!

Expérience fantastique: I switched from Body and soul gym to Global and what a difference! Amazingly clean gym. Has literally everything you need. Staff couldn’t be more professional or helpful. If something is broken they fix it immediately. Other patrons are focused and considerate, especially with the covid laws. They have a room you can book to be mask free in. If there’s a better gym anywhere in the world, I’d be surprised! The only thing I could think of to make it better would be if it was lake front so we could swim after a workout.

Expérience fantastique: Gym is always very clean. I usually come at the busy hours of the day and there’s so much area and equipment that there is always room to workout and use whatever you want. Been to gyms all over Canada and nothing seems to quite compare after spending years here.

Besides being the biggest gym with the most class options in Kelowna, they also have tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts for member use. The team they have in place is nothing less than exceptional, always there to help and provide any information needed. They have dealt with everything that is Covid-19 with the highest standards possible, and were able to allow us to get back to "normal" with a smooth transition back into the gym. The change rooms are always cleaned and fully stocked with a sauna and hot tub to use while you're there!! I genuinely look forward to my daily workouts at this facility! Expérience fantastique: I had signed up for a 3 month membership before the pandemic hit. Once it hit and the gym closed down I had only used 1.5 months of my membership. Due to some injury and life happening I haven't been able to get back until recently. I had been emailing the GM and was asking questions about my membership as it had already been paid for she assured that i could continue to use my 1.5 month almost a year later. I am so grateful for the incredible service and clear communication. Not only that but I love the facility.

Expérience fantastique: I have been training for around the last 6 years and in the past 2 or so it has become my life. When I made the switch over I knew immediately that this was the perfect gym. The overall size and amount of activities available is fantastic. It is by far the best gym in the Okanagan whether you are a body builder or simply want to get in better shape. The staff is super friendly and professional. They make you feel like you are part of the family and belong at the gym no matter who you are. I highly recommend this gym and so far have had many friends change over and they have no plans of leaving anytime soon
