Expérience fantastique: I really like this gym. It’s only been a short while that I’ve been going but I always feel happy being there. It’s unpretentious and there aren’t any gym bros or IG baddies being weird. Just normal people wanting to enjoy their workouts in peace and that’s exactly what the gym provides. At least that’s been my experience. Good air quality so it smells like nothing at all (my preference). Good equipment and nice area. No complaints.

Expérience fantastique: If I lived on Mars, id still make the commute to see Chad. Youll never find a trainer as close to a physio, anywhere on the face of this earth. Over 10 years of back pain + surgery, Chad has me feeling 18yo again. Hes over the top. Cant speak highly enough on the cleanliness and overall management.

Expérience fantastique: Nice layout, great to also have a place for classes. Well kept and cleaner than most AF locations.

Expérience positive: Good clean gym with some group classes available. Busy in the evenings.

Expérience négative: Having read the reviews of this gym, I feel compelled, against my better judgement, to relate the disgusting experience I have had here since practically day one. Several times, when I 1st started training here, a male employee muttered the phrase "white devil" at me. Numerous times, male employees, or their friends, have muttered the word "leave" at me. First, muttering malicious slights at others is A Not Uncommon Thing (low IQ, presumably) people are known to do. Second, never in my life have I ever been accused of hearing things. IOW, this ACTUALLY happened, there is ZERO doubt of that. Don't bother gaslighting me. The other day, a male employee referred to me mockingly as "big man", & shot video with me in it without my permission. I've never seen the owners at the gym, EVER, but it seems that, while they have been out of the picture, the existing employees there seem to have gone rogue, taken over the place, & are treating it like their own, personal playground & fiefdom, gatekeeping it against people they have a problem with, which apparently is white males--a perennial target these days. If they treat any other type of person who goes there this way, I haven't seen it. And I have been observing--INTENTLY & KEENLY. Speaking just for myself, I have been treated MOST inhospitably. It's crazy what's been happening. I want to be CRYSTAL CLEAR here: all I have EVER done is go there to train, mind my own business, & be cordial, despite the way I have been treated, which has tested the limits of my ability to remain graceful in an absolutely DISgraceful, INEXCUSABLE situation. I go out my way to treat other gym goers respectfully, which is more than I can say for the staff &, like, half the people who go here, who apparently are unfamiliar with basic gym etiquette. The staff have made it abundantly clear: whatever their irrational justification is, I am not welcome. And I can't be the only person they've put out like this. Just be prepared for the very real possibility that you may find yourself on the receiving end of hostility at this gym. That's certainly been my experience, unfortunately. UPDATE: they promptly terminated my membership. In their response to this review, they say they support diversity. Sure they do... so long as you're not white & male, because such people are notable by their absence in the membership at this gym. As of this writing, go there anytime of the day & you can count on half a hand, AT MOST, the number of Caucasians training there. You likely won't even find even a single white male training. SERIOUSLY. And now they have one less. So much for "diversity"... This, despite the fact that the neighborhood, though it has an exploding non-Caucasian population, is still overwhelmingly majority white. And, for the moment, this gym is the only one in the area (though this is about to change, I have heard). So, logically, what must be happening is that white people in the neighborhood are going outside to train elsewhere. IOW, despite how onerous it is to do that (the next closest gym is a significant distance away), it's less of a burden than going to this gym, which in my experience seems to have a problem with people of European decent. They will of course deny that. You see, you can have systemic racism against non-whites, but not whites. It's well known at this point that's how These People ("progressives", IOW) think. In the time I trained here, I saw a steady, yet thin, trickle of white people show up, train for a few days, then inexplicably disappear. Gosh, I wonder what happened to them? Did they stop coming because they were made to feel unwelcome? Were their memberships terminated because they were deemed "a poor fit" for the club? I guess only the owners & employees will ever know for sure lol... If you are white, have a membership at this gym, & my experience resonates with you, I STRONGLY encourage you to cancel your membership & make other arrangements.

Expérience négative: I have been at this gym since 2021 and enjoyed my experience here but after today this place have left a sour taste in my mouth. I signed a 6months contract which ended in December and my payments were suppose to stop after the 6months but apparently as a money grab it didn't. When I called in to inquire and spoke to a Jenn who said she is the owners wife and she said she couldn't refund the withdrawals made from my account after my contract ended, that took me my surprise. The explanation I received was very unsatisfactory and felt very non-customer centric. How do I still get charged even though my contract is over. Why do I need to call to cancel a contract that is supposed to be ending anyways. I never signed up for auto renewal. Its very deceptive business practice to sneak clauses like this even after your short-term contract is over it will be automatically auto-renewed. I left this gym since October when I moved but because I knew I was in a 6 months contract I didnt call to cancel because my 6 months was coming up in December and that was doing your business a favor. The Customer Service from the owners wife was not pleasant. My account was just charged on Jan 12th eventhough my contract ended in December and she insisted I should have called to cancel. This is very deceptive, why then did I sign a 6 month contract if you would automatically renew it without my consent, just so you can continue to charge me? To act as if she was doing me a favor by cancelling my membership today after the charge was even more insulting. She was more than happy to leave a loyal Customer unsatisfied. The entire staff at this gym have been really nice when I attended, even the owner himself but THIS is very unfortunate that it feels like a money grab rather than keeping Customers satisfied so they can return. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE I KNOW TO THIS GYM and this exeperience from the owner has erased all the positive experience I had about this business

Expérience fantastique: Very nice location with a great layout - plenty of space and very friendly staff. Excellent variety of equipment. Only gripe for me is no spout at the drinking fountain (bottle refiller only)... they do however offer little cups while supplies last :)

Expérience fantastique: Most welcoming gym I’ve been to. I always look forward to go there to work out and have some fun with it. Ali Abulaila is an amazing personal trainer. He knows exactly what he’s doing and makes it his mission to help members reach their true potential. He’s very friendly and nice to work with. Would highly recommend !

Expérience fantastique: It's the best anytime fitness in the Ottawa Gatineau region. Spacious, clean, and staff are very courteous. Live in Orleans but find myself going out of my way to this location 90% of the time. The 10% of the time I go to other locations is for the AMT elliptical and excellent spin bike. We need that here. Other than that, it is very well equipped.

Expérience fantastique: WOAH! This gym is INSANE. Nik and Jen, the owners, have really made this such a top notch gym. I don't know why anyone would go to any other gym in Findlay Creek. They have all the equipment, great trainers, and so much space. Best gym in the area. No competition.

Expérience fantastique: My husband and I are members at the Findlay Creek Anytime Fitness and love the club ! Our personal trainer Chad is fantastic, very knowledgeable and has had a huge impact on our overall health and fitness. We would follow him anywhere in the city of Ottawa.

Expérience fantastique: Since joining back in October 2022 I’ve come to know the staff very well. The staff is extremely friendly and they are all quick to assist and answer any questions you may have regarding weight lifting, fitness and/or recovery. My experience at Anytime Fitness in Findlay Creek is amazing. They’ve helped motivate me and others. The facility is extremely clean and well kept. If you’re looking for a gym I recommend Anytime Fitness in Findlay Creek sincerely.

Expérience négative: The VP named Chad is rude and unwelcoming. He has a terrible attitude and comes off as a "know it all". This is the worst staffed anytime fitness in Ottawa. They should learn how the other locations run their business because this location stinks. DO NOT come here. You would have to be a fool if you workout here. The facility is dirty and doesn't have many machines and they are missing essential machines. I am never returning again. I will take my business elsewhere. I wish I could give this place a zero star rating. Terrible!

Expérience positive: The gym is very well equipped and my engagement with the staff has been positive. Change rooms are clean, as is the whole environment. The only drawback is that it is not a large gym. But plan your timing well and that will not be an issue

You will find people of all shapes, ages and sizes which makes it welcoming and relaxed. Peak times around 5 to 8 PM but lots of space around lunch and the PM.

This adds to the location’s very welcoming environment . Zero regrets , keep up the great work Nik, Jen & Chaaaaaaaaaad !
