Expérience fantastique: It has wave pool from shallow to deep area like a waterpark theme. It also provide monthly pass to year pass. It is good for a family have more swimming activities. Here are also all kinds of swimming programmes for the kids.

Expérience positive: Really enjoy the rec center but it can be abit small...

Expérience négative: Had a 6 month old here for the first time and was not aloud to take pictures to create memories for him .. won’t return !!

Expérience positive: TOO MUCH CHLORINE!! My family and I went to the pool and from the moment we walked in my eyes were burning from the chlorine without even being in the water. After we left my son was crying for hours that his eyes were burning. Aside from that the waves are not as good as the wave pool in Orleans but if you have kids that might be a good thing. The hot pool is better than the one in Orleans It’s not terrible but they really need to work on the chlorine issue because it’s brutal

Expérience fantastique: For the price of $22, I and my nephews had 5 hours of fun from the Wave Pool, the slides, Hot Tub and Sauna. There is also a kiddie pool and a section for adults to sit and watch their kids in the water. The waves come every 15 minutes, which gives you a good cycle to rotate from the different pools. There is acccess to a lot of floaties and free life jackets to help the kids venture into the bigger waves.

Expérience négative: Great Facility but the management should be fired. They do advance booking and then change the timings making kids unhappy. I am pretty sure this was not the purpose of this facility.

Expérience négative: Had a bad experience here the website says it opens until 8pm i was there by 4:30 and while entering there the staff says that it closes at 5

Expérience fantastique: Always a fun time in the waves - but stay safe, it will get crazy!

Expérience positive: Always a fun time with the kids, but they use a ton of chlorine here compared to other places to the point where my eyes hurt afterwards. I like the long open swim and wave swim times and that they have a long shallow area for younger kids. The swim lessons are nice for kids because of this.

Expérience fantastique: I went for the lane swim today and it was great being able to have lots of space to swim and you can select your pace to swim at as well. Facilities are also very clean. It's a shame the canteen isn't there anymore but there are many vending machines for snacks and drinks

The wave are awesome for indoor pool can't go wrong. Not too pricy for the entrance highly recommended specially during winter time.

Expérience positive: Some of the tiles are broken in the pool, sometimes leading to cuts. There are many qualified staff. The red cross training is good and useful. Hope to work here someday. There is a fun slide and once and a while, if in a public swim session, cool waves. There are also some fun kid pools.

Expérience positive: My kids love it here , I’ve been met with unprofessional staff but most are Polite, empathetic, and kind , the management team is wonderful and accommodating. Facility has tons of room ,locker space and it’s fairly clean for a public area. I would wear flip-flops though The hot tub , slide ,sauna and kids pool are always in use!

Expérience fantastique: It's definitely a great place to pack a lunch and have fun with the kids on the weekend . I recommend wearing flip-flops as for most changing rooms at pools are gross . But ,I still highly recommend it.

Expérience positive: Website needs to make it clear that the pool is NOT open to public till noon Saturday 8am-Noon .. Drove an hour away to be there early morning for nothing. Even when I pulled up many families were returning to their vehicles with the same issue.

Expérience positive: Pool was nice, dressing room is a bit of a gong show with so many people and all the winter boots on the floor ☺ We ended up taking our belongings into the pool area where we did find a locker that was available. Overall it was fun!

Expérience positive: Very clean. Great kiddie pool which was nice and warm with lots of toys, the kids loved it. They also loved the water slide and the waves, which comes on for ten minutes every 20 minutes. Plenty of paddle boards to use. Water in the main pool was a bit chilly. Strict enforcement of rules like if your children are a certain age, the parent needs to stand at the bottom of the waterslide. They have fans blowing for some reason, which made standing there feel colder. After awhile the chlorine started to sting my eyes but otherwise it didn't seem too strong. Kids wanted to stay for 2h. Family change room was helpful but there was someone showering nude there which wasn't appropriate for children being present. The showers were nice and warm, liquid soap provided. Cost for 5 of us was $30. Limited coin-op lockers, plenty of other lockers for you to bring your own lock.

Expérience fantastique: Great place. It has a significantly big pool. Worthy to spend hours in. The pool is used normally in weekdays as per my knowledge, and it’s used as wave pool+pool on Saturdays and Sundays. There’s also a hot tub, a slide and a dry sauna. If you’re just visiting for fun, Saturdays and Sundays are for you. Has a nice seating place beside the pool if you’re a parent, and outside as well. Snacks available to buy on vending machines. Must visit if you’re here in Kanata.

Expérience positive: Take my 14 month old for swimming classes. Instructors are great and accommodating. The water is warm and comfortable for my kid as well.

Expérience positive: Great place to take kids. Would be nice if there were daily, early evening open wave pool sessions...vs only a few times a week. Why don't you have tap? Since the beginning of COVID all other businesses have changed their interac machines.

Expérience positive: The hot tub was more like a "warm tub" but maybe I'm being too picky. The sauna was great, and the kids enjoyed the waves.

Expérience fantastique: A great place to go swimming with the family. In addition to a large wave pool with a slide, there is a smaller and warmer pool for kids, a hot pool, and a sauna. What I like about this place is that there is a sitting area right next to the pools.

Expérience positive: The pool is amazing but we can’t stay on the latters and we can’t stay on the wall so i give it 3 stars not five cuz of that so u guys should change the rules so we can stay on the latter and hold onto the wall.

Expérience fantastique: So much fun! Our kids love going for the afternoon on the weekends. Lots of lifeguards that make the experience feel very safe. The hottub is nice as well!

Expérience fantastique: The entrance fee is reasonable. When we went before the wave started, the locker rooms were quite neat, but when we decided to go out, we found our shoes difficult. There is a need for an extra clothing cabinet and closet. also the pool is quite cold for over 3 years old.

Expérience fantastique: Went to the wave pool with my 9yo and my gf and her 12yo. Got there 15min before the start of the wave swim and there was not much of a line yet but it was filling up fast. My 9yo was required to do a simple swim test to demonstrate that she does not need someone beside her the entire time. We all had a great time playing in the main pool with the waves and loved the large water slide. The hot tub pool was nice to relax in before the end of the swim but note that only upto 25 people at a time can use it. Every part of the staff was very nice and attentive. Definitely will be going back

Expérience négative: VERY HIGH LEVEL OF CHLORINE!! We visited recently and the chlorine smell was too strong it burns the eyes just by walking in and even before going into the water. My kids were coughing nonstop.. City of Ottawa, who is running the pool?? How can we trust the safety of the water?

Expérience positive: Great place for a casual swim, there is only one pool but it wasn’t too crowded during the wave swim. The chlorine level is really high so not good for sensitive folks and the bathrooms aren’t that clean, but that’s not rare for swim places!

Expérience positive: This is a great place to go with kids friends and family, the wave pool is just great, and the toboggan is really worth the wait. There starts are doing their best to ensure everyone is safe at the premises. All i can say is that there is stuff to improve though: there family lockers are tiny and the space too. I suggest swapping the tall lockers in the men's changing room and put them in the family changing room, or even better, move the family changing room to be in the actual men's changing room because the space is really small for families with kids to move around, whilr the men's area has a pretty large space in the middle. Expérience positive: Overall good. Staff is polite, quick tickets, even the swim test was smooth and quick for one of our kids. Clean facility. Dress rooms are ok. But! Specifically for our allergic family - too much chlorine (we felt it with our sensitive eyes and lungs).

Expérience positive: Good spot to take my son! He loves it. Nice hot tub, great pool. Fair prices at the door, only downside is it does sometimes get crowed usually around 3ish in my experiences.

Expérience positive: I love coming here! It’s always very fun, lots of lifeguards, reasonable prices. The only downside is it’s usually packed. But they have a wave pool, kiddie pool, hot tub, and sauna, OH and a water slide. It’s always a fun time and they usually have open swim times all day. Such a fun way to make a day !!

Expérience fantastique: It’s been many years since I last visited this wonderful facility. It did not disappoint! My 8 year old grandson enjoyed it thoroughly. March Break crowds of course but no problem in the pool- just the change rooms! We’ll be back.

Expérience négative: Air quality was terrible. The chlorine fumes were uncomfortable and made breathing difficult. Both air and water temperature were way too warm for it to be healthy. Pool water is hyperchlorinated. Pool was very crowded. On the plus side, lots of lifeguards on staff.

Expérience positive: Great place to take the kiddos. Careful if your little is below the height requirement for the slide--you might need to spend a bit of time managing disappointment. The kiddy pool is tiny, but a lovely temperature. The hot tub is huge though! Only downside is periodic maintenance--no doubt the wave machine is finicky. You won't know if it's working for sure based on their site as there doesn't seem to be a way for them to notify visitors of unscheduled maintenance.

Expérience fantastique: I hadn't been to this spot since I was a kid. I just brought my kids here. What a blast from the past. They loved the waves and laughed so much while swimming on the boogie boards. I'm so glad I found this place again. I'll be back!

Expérience fantastique: I go there for my morning swim. The pool is smaller than that at Richcraft but is still a good place for exercises. No need to book and slot in advance as it’s usually not crowded. The only thing is that they need more showers

Expérience positive: Fitness room price is reasonable but weights are outdated. The biggest issue is that on holidays the facility may close from Friday to Monday but does not post any signage or update Google with its hours. So it has been 3 times now where I showed up, doors are locked, but it doesn't say which days it's open. Frustrating. Seems like front desk staff don't care.

Expérience négative: Most disappointing day as I took my kids to the pool and to my astonishment we weren’t allowed in. Since I have 3 children (not 2) I did not comply with there 2:1 ratio and wasn’t allowed to swim, even though they are good swimmers and could also wear life jackets. This is the first time I haven’t been able to go in a public pool with them and I’ve never felt so upset, let alone my children were devastated!

Expérience négative: Freezing cold water and we only lasted one hour! Dirty change rooms! Showers don't get hot! Water too cold for all age groups. Needs a makeover big time! It's a waste of my tax dollars if I can't go there. The waves are the only attraction yet it's expensive! Richcraft puts it to shame!

Expérience positive: Good place for a swim. However, when summer reaches, the schedules on Saturday for public swim changes from 6 pm to 8 pm and closes everything after 4 pm and let the gyms remain open only when going to the centre. If the gyms were the only thing that stays open past 4 especially on weekends, I could just go to GoodLife fitness or Movati and do my workouts there. What’s the point of the place if nothing stays open past 4 o’clock for swimming? It’s summer time and people can benefit going there to cool down from the heat and enjoy their recreation while swimming. Is there any reason why the pool closes after 4 o’clock?! This is absolutely ridiculous. I would rather spend more time at the lake than be paying $10 for a scheduled swim time anyways. Horrible.

Expérience fantastique: Fun place - had a kiddie shallow pool, hot tub and sauna on top of the shallow entry wave pool and tube-style slide. Lots of life guards and there is some chairs for those looking to just watch (both inside and outside the swim area). The family change room had cubicles and lockers (bring your own lock). There is a mini locker station outside the change rooms for 25c. All was reasonably clean. Pool area can be loud with the waves and kids - the alarm warning the waves are starting can be loud for young kids. I find it was fine. The front desk also had 2 places processing payments when we arrived so it wasn't too long of a wait. Parking is in the back - entry is in the front. There is a gym, too, and we could see people hosting kids parties in the meeting room. There are life jackets available to borrow. It is very chlorinated (enough to make my eyes sting with a few drops) so do rinse your swimsuits thoroughly.

Expérience fantastique: Amazing ! Clean, organized, easy to use and happy people working there. Wave pool was fantastic! My 1.5 year old was giggling and my 5 years old was so happy. Plus, there is a big slide. So much fun ! Add to this the kids pool, a very shallow pool for the little ones with toys and two sprinkles or fountains. Has showers, lockers ( bring your own lock) and changing rooms. Everything is supported with wheelchair accessibility. We send 4 hours without being cranky or hungry. Will post the programs and prices for membership.

Expérience fantastique: A place worth checking out! It has three pools: 1. Wave pool (large) 2. Hot tub (small) 3. Kiddie pool (medium) The place is very family friendly. Family change rooms and kids 2 and under are free.
