Expérience positive: Amazing place for kids, patient and talented teachers. Love the variety of classes offered. Wish the entrance and shoe/no shoe area was cleaner or more organized though.

Expérience négative: There are one or two great teachers and if you are lucky enough to get them great if not..good luck. Most of the coaches seem bored, un interested in teaching the children or not sure what to do. The children are not sure of the expectations, and usually lost as to what to do. The front desk assistant is also not very receptive or helpful when asked for suggestions or concerns are brought forward. This place seems like a poorly run daycare and has gone downhill.

Expérience fantastique: Well run summer camp and we enjoy our birthday parties here. Our daughter is always smiling at every pick up.

Expérience fantastique: Lots of space and different activities. My daughter goes to the after school care program and absolutely loves it. It also has a good parking situation compared to many of the other gymnastics places nearby.

Expérience négative: I enrolled my child in the competitive program at Rideau Gymnastics for two years, and by the second class of her third year, it was clear that the group was holding her back. Despite communicating our concerns to the coaches, the situation didn’t improve, prompting us to switch to a different gym. To add to our frustration, I discovered that Rideau Gymnastics never applied the $250 Ontario Gymnastics fees I paid in July. I discovered they were overcharging us for competition fees as well—an extra $30 per competition. I reached out for a breakdown of the program fees and to address the uncredited Ontario fees, but I've yet to receive a response. While the coaches are good with the kids, they lack focus on proper training and posture. Additionally, the facility itself is unacceptable; it's dirty, and the bathrooms are among the filthiest I've encountered. Overall, I am disappointed with how this gym operates. They seem more interested in profit than in supporting children's growth and development. I’m relieved we’ve moved on, but I urge prospective parents to be cautious and ensure that the fees you pay are accounted for properly.

Expérience négative: Staff is amazing. Management have NO PEOPLE SKILLS OR English SKILLS ! couches and staff are super supportive and go above and beyond. When dealing with management for receipts or letter of child enrollment for CRA they are support rude and judgemental. Lucky for them they have amazing staff on board otherwise the gym would go underground

Expérience négative: I've called several times to get information. Once I spoke to a person and they said they were not able to answer any questions and that I would have to call back. Have left two messages with no response. Not having a lot of confidence in this place so I will look elsewhere.

Expérience négative: Run, don’t walk. Would NOT recommend this gym and would instead recommend Corona Gymnastics if you’re looking for a reputable gym. My daughter attended summer tumbling camp here, and ended up getting injured during camp. The camp leader, “Vitar” not only did not report the injury to management or write an injury report, but shook her thumb around and told her she was fine. We later on that day found out she actually fractured it at CHEO and required a cast. The next day, when she saw that same camp leader, he told her she was “faking it” as she’s in her cast. I’m absolutely appalled and wish I didn’t give this establishment my money.

Expérience fantastique: I was here to watch my god daughter on a showcase day. The place is massive. The girls did amazing showing off their athletic skills! Thanks for hosting family and letting us see our little ones shine in their sport

Expérience négative: Not a good place to hold birthday parties. We had our daughter’s birthday party there, the party was from 3:30 to 5:30.they did not give us the room until 4:30. It was very inconvenient for us. Parents had to sit in a small and unorganized place before they gave us the room. I would not recommend Rideau gymnastics for birthday parties.

Expérience négative: Super unorganized. Signed my daughter up for a trial class here for dance. She was super excited. We showed up at the time of the email confirmation. There was no class. What a waste of time. Will be searching for another dance studio.

Expérience négative: My daughter is attending their gymnastics and dance classes for a 1.5 year now. Most of the teachers are young and inexperienced. You are just basically paying money for your kids to wonder around without really learning much!

Expérience positive: The programming options are plentiful, and the facilities are clean and well maintained. The new renovations make it hard to view the kids in the program classes vs. the team sessions. The main entrance and seating area can get crowded at change over, but it clears out as the sessions begin. It seems the gym is focusing more on the competitive teams over the classes, but that's their position to take. The staff are nice and helpful and they are flexible. The gym is well run for sure.

My only issue is that the place stinks really bad. It smells like feet. I don't know if they can do anything about it though because it is a gymnastics center....

Expérience positive: We had a birthday party here and although there were a lot of options for the kiddos once they got going, I had no idea how the party would unfold so I was left waiting for the front desk employees to show up and explain things. The coordinator didn't come get the kids until almost 10 minutes after the party started, and again, I really had no idea how the party would unfold and when we'd have the party room (so all of the gifts/jackets/shoes were in a pile next to me for most of the time). The party room was okay, but the garbage was full and it felt like it was a shmozzle with a table in the middle - a smart board on one side, desk on the corner with some paper plates and utensils tossed on it and then a bunch of other stuff. These parties aren't cheap, so more effort could go into making it feel like a party and not a storage room with a table in it. If some very simple improvements were made, I would say it's a decent options for kids' birthday parties.

She was feeling very shy and could have used a welcoming teacher. After 20 minutes we left without even one word from the teacher. I wrote to the management that day and got no response. Really disappointing experience...

Expérience fantastique: Spacious and professionally staffed gym. Well equiped. My daughter has had a few private lessons here so far and instructors have created a program that matches her needs and wants. They motivate her and give her exercices that are difficult enough to keep her engaged. Unlike a different gymnastics center that rhymes with Fear, Rideau Gymnastics is a fantastic place for young aspiring athletes.

Expérience négative: The gym itself is lovely, and seems pretty clean. However, this is the first time I registered my kids and I don't think we will register here again. Some of the coaches are really young, and each group has only 1 coach which can cause some safety issues if there are any needs. But a bigger issue for me, is the cubbies holding the water bottles are OUTSIDE of the gym section and in the area where the exit doors are and parents are waiting. I saw many kids, including my own, as young as 4, going there alone and unsupervised getting their drinks. I mentioned to the head staff that I thought this was really unsafe, considering many parents drop off their kids and don't stick around the front section to make sure their kids are secure. It would be quite easy for the bottles to be stored INSIDE the gym section, where parents and public can't access. She insisted that it wasn't a problem. Secondly, the drop off pick up was craaaazy. Very poorly executed. Our class (and about 10 other classes with probably 8 kids per class) ends at 6, and then the next set of classes start at 6. That's approximately 160 being funneled through one small door, and one small entry section all at once - not to mention the parents there as well. My eyes almost popped out of my head. AND my kid was released into that section on the first day WITHOUT the coach actually checking if I was there or if she even found me. My daughter is 6. Due to these issues, I do not have confidence enough to leave while the kids are in class, so now I am stuck sitting there for 90 minutes each time. I would not return for classes, but I would return for drop--in where I can be with the kids and they won't be at risk of being unsupervised.

Expérience fantastique: Well managed and organised place for young buds to build their gymnastics skills. From the looks of it, seems like they have all the necessary equipments and protections to facilitate the gymnasts. My kid has been going here for sometime and she likes it. Cheers.

Expérience fantastique: We've been a handful of times to the morning drop-in and absolutely love it! It's a beyond fair price ($6/2 hours) and it's a safe spot to promote gross motor activity. At the drop-in there's no instruction; you have free reign to use majority of the equipment as long as you're courteous to one another. Everyone is very respectful and the kids all seem to have such great fun! ‍♀️‍♂️

Expérience fantastique: My 3 year old son was extremely nervous to go to gymnastics after having limited social interactions for so long due to the pandemic. He has major separation anxiety and cried when I left him. Coach Tehya made him feel so comfortable and after a few classes and lots of TLC he was so happy! Thank you Tehya!

Overall was a decent experience, however, the coaches are mostly children and the drop off and pick up is hectic to say the least. 10 am start typically ended up being 10:10 or so because pandamonium. Parking lot is very crammed as well. Should stagger classes to avoid all this.

The staff are super professional and yet personable. My daughter also does gymnastics here and both she and my son will continue doing gymnastics in the fall. I can never speak highly enough about Rideau Gymnastics. Loyal to this establishment. Thanks for continuing to wow me!!!

Something for all ages, multi-faceted environment, including Mon-Fri kids drop-ins from 10am-12pm, daytime classes,YOGA, and evening physics lessons to name a few. What a great place to spend Sundays for recreational gymnastics fun :)
