Everyone works together as a team, trying to improve one another and there are no egos. Senior more experienced members are like an open book, eager to answer questions and help with new techniques. This will ultimately set them apart from any other group out there. I can’t even really put into words how special IBJJ is. I’m trying but it’s just something you have to go try and experience. It saved my family's sanity and gave us some much needed exercise and social interaction as was permitted. We looked very forward to our weekly sessions. Coach PK is so welcoming, fun and knowledgeable. After COVID protocols ended our daughter continued and under coach PKs guidance he brought her out of the shell she had around her upping her self confidence. We would still be there if we hadn't moved away .... We've not found another studio to train at that we enjoyed but when we are in the area we make sure to stop in and say hello and play on the Mats with coach and the others at IBJJ. Expérience fantastique: I attended the Valentine’s Day class with my husband. It was a lot of fun and PK and his wife did a great job of helping to make everyone feel comfortable. It was my first experience with BJJ and I was surprised we had a lot of laughs, connection and I even learned some self defence techniques. I was a little nervous about training at a new club, but coach PK and his students made me feel welcomed from the first hello!
