Expérience négative: Untrustworthy. Advertise one price on internet but don't honor it! Go to Planet Fitness, get more bang for your $ and actual staff to answer any questions. Motion Fitness was sooooo much better!

Even in the new year the staff continue to work their hardest to make this place comfortable and like a second home. HIGHLY RECCOMEND 2023: Front end staff is oblivious and cannot handle basic payment information, let alone customer service. Poor manners and a devolving community makes this place way less reputable and respectful than it was when the owners actually cared. After supporting it since opening, I'm canceling my membership. Sad, all they had to do was apply basic skills most 16 year olds cultivate at their first job. Basic customer service.

Expérience négative: Good gym. Clean place. Not Impressed with management and staff. Signed up for a year. Moved away in November so I knew I had to pay up contract till January. New front desk dude didn’t know what he was doing and I ended up paying the same amount but can use the gym for the next two months even though he said I could. Talked to the staff they just said sorry. Not impressed at all. Pretty shady.

Expérience fantastique: Spend 4-5 days a week here. Have never had a problem. My fellow gymgoers are friendly and motivated. Good equipment and if it's broken it is replaced or fixed quickly. Two tanning rooms which are kept clean. Management and staff are helpful and welcoming✨

Expérience négative: Would give -5 stars if possible. This “business” has been making illegal withdrawals from my bank account and refuses to respond to emails. Not sure how they got my banking info as I’ve never set foot in an Iron Nation gym let alone signed a membership agreement. I would be very cautious about giving them your account information who knows what they’ll do with it.

Expérience fantastique: Gym is top of the line. Clean, very knowledgeable staff and open all the time. Lots of parking. Ton of weights, machines and treadmills / elliptical machines as well. IRON is a no nonsense down to business gym. Try it out you'll love it.

Expérience négative: Used to be the place to train for powerlifting but like all good things they come to an end eventually. Edited: Rest assure the weight isn’t heavy when you actually lift.

Expérience fantastique: Incredible facility, lots of friendly members and staff. It has a bodybuilding/powerlifting vibe for sure, but it caters to every persons fitness goals. Battle ropes, soft plyo boxes, TRX, punching bag, free use of glute loops, straps etc… heavy weights, unique equipment…. honestly the best club I’ve ever been to.

Expérience fantastique: I walked in with little to no gym experience and instantly felt welcomed! I was shown around and had things explained to me unlike others in the area that I toured, they even checked on me during my workout to make sure I was feeling comfortable. I was super nervous as I've heard it's a "big muscle gym" but I've met some of the nicest people who are more then willing to help. Super clean and kind of like a little family! I highly recommend and won't be going anywhere else

Expérience fantastique: Was in Grande Prairie visiting my sister and family from Winnipeg. Came here after a recommendation and was amazed at all the different equipment. It was busy there but there was enough equipment that I did not have to wait or delay my workout. Staff was great and awesome to deal with. Had to pay drop in for 3 days at $20 each, but it is what it is. I certainly would have a membership here if I lived in Grande Prairie!

Expérience négative: COVID-19 is not a joke, STAY CLOSED PLEASE. Just wait out the restrictions.. if the Public Health Order is telling you to, then maybe listen? Can you and your customers really be this selfish during a pandemic where I and many people are waiting it out so we can get our gains in a later time??

Expérience fantastique: The staff and ownership both take a lot of pride in their business. They have quality workout equipment with a number of bars that many other gyms do not have. The layout is good and the bathrooms are kept clean at all times. The pricing is also very reasonable and is appropriate to the market. My wife and I combined was around $70 a month.

The GM and other front desk workers especially are always super welcoming and caring which is something I haven't experienced at any other gym. 10/10 would recommend to anyone

Expérience fantastique: I've been a member of the iron nation family for about a year and it is by the best gym in town, and even could compete as one of the best in the country. Top of the line equipment, plenty of options for each style of workout. Tons of cardio equipment, smoothie bar and tanning. Always plenty of room to move even during peak times. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Expérience négative: Updated: poor communication and shady business practices. They charged an unauthorized $60 "maintenance fee" to my credit card that was not in the initial membership paperwork after only being open for three months. When questioned, they stated that "people are damaging equipment so management has to charge a fee". After three months? There was no forewarning of the charge and they added a fine print "addendum" in their sign-in app that you had to "Accept" in order to utilize the app. However, no communication other than this was given and you would not be aware unless you regularly track your credit card usage. Despite not agreeing to the charge via the app, I was still charged. Received an additional "returned payment fee" to my credit card after they attempted to charge my expired credit card despite updating my payment info via phone conversation and their app prior to the card expiry. After cancelling my membership, they continue to charge my credit card despite being assured in person that the authorization was removed. All in all, I've sent five unanswered emails regarding getting a copy of my membership paperwork and unauthorized charges in order to get a paperwork trail since in-person and phone conversations don't seem to lead anywhere and have had no response. Despite the "big box" chain gyms having a reputation for poor customer service, I've had much better communication dealing with them than this local business. Not worth the headache. Original review below: Great atmosphere and equipment. Tons of dedicated lifting areas which is awesome, great price and location. My main issue is they don't seem to have a recording or filming policy in their locker rooms which can be off-putting if you are showering/changing and someone is snapping pictures in the mirror; the locker rooms are very tight for space as is without the worry of being in someone's photo. They have the same issue at times in the weight room but I overlook that as I understand form videos are an asset. All in all, best gym I've been at in GP but I personally skip the locker rooms and just come prepared in gym gear.

Expérience positive: Missing some equipment but will be there in a few days. Definitely where you want to go if you're actually going to be lifting some weight . Also lost of new ideas for cardio and cross fit. Once it catches on and people start flooding in the changing area might get a little congested as well. Great warm up area with lots of machines as well stair climbers, elliptical and rowing machine not just one or two.
