Expérience négative: I wish that I could leave a much better review. The classes and teachers are amazing and the atmosphere is usually amazing! I have been a few times for their classes using a third party and I am thoroughly enjoying the classes and the zumba instructor. The facilities are well maintained and the front desk ladies are always so helpful and sweet. HOWEVER, something I need to stress is that you will be filmed while taking classes!!!! Something I did not consent nor agree too. I am notoriously camera shy and when I am given the choice, I will opt pout of photos but Holly (I believe she is the owner and does seem very nice) will begin to record classes half way through without asking. When she does ask, if someone says no, she will record regardless or expect you to remove yourself from class while she records. I am all for getting content to promote your business because this place is a hidden gem but the last thing I want is videos of me taken without permission to be all over the web. It appears that her attitude towards filming is followed by members too, a class member began doing an Instagram live in class! It wouldn't be such an issue if the class wasn't quite as large but space can be tight and regardless it seems like someone is always recording. I love the facilities and the friends you make while at the gym, the pricing is great but for me the filming is quite disturbing. Most gyms have a no camera or filming policy to avoid these kind of uncomfortable situations. I would return if things changed because the atmosphere is usually amazing! Holly is respectful with people not being in photos but videos don't seem to count.

Expérience fantastique: Went for the Zumba class with Sara; she was so fun and smiley and friendly! Lovely staff, and great location for the area, not a huge gym but they have all needed equipment!

Expérience positive: Well I have said it before I have enjoyed going to my gym since it first opened. The space is the right size and have a great variety of equipment and weights. The staff are pleasant and helpful. Activities are continually being added. It is unfortunate that there is no longer a real shake bar. I suspect that the demand wasn't there. As well it offers very good hours to go workout. The members, (at least from my point of view),are kind and respectful of others for the most part. I HAVE NOW CHANGED MY REVIEW, My previous review was a little harsh but I had to express my dissatisfaction to the over all cleanliness of the gym and the fact that some members would walk in with wet boots or shoes. In response the management has done some major work to assure me that the gym is well maintained and that clients respect the space. I appreciate this greatly. Thank you to the team.

Expérience négative: Été membre pendant environ 6 mois en plus d'avoir été un client régulier du centre (3-4 fois semaine) durant cette période. Mention honorable à Mme Dendukuri qui est réellement sympathique avec tout le monde sans exception et idem pour Lorraine. Toutefois, le reste du personnel est plutôt distant, froid (hormis envers ceux qui ont grâce à leurs yeux) et/ou plus intéressé à jouer sur leur cellulaire que de saluer les clients à l'entrée. Sans compter que pour environ 30-40$ par mois on se retrouve dans un gym avec des vestiaires/douches vraiment minuscules et l'absence de salles de bain à l'intérieur du gymnase. Pour le même prix, plusieurs gym du secteur offrent des installations sanitaires digne de ce nom en plus de services complémentaires (ex. spa ou massage). De plus, certaines machines de la section cardio (surtout certains tapis roulants) étaient hors services la majorité du temps.

People in this gym are pretty nice - most of the time it’s empty so you can have a good training by yourself and they do have different group activities like : boxing , dance , and many more. It’s a clean gym with most of the machines you need and space

Expérience fantastique: Honestly... this is one of my hidden gems. It has also been a saviour for me. As many, during covid I gained A LOT of weight. I mean a lot! I have been an on and off member here for years. But now I am here to stay. The machines are well kept. The price is fair. The hours are awesome. And it's absolutely essential in this world of uncertainty and disease to stay fit and healthy. My wife and I both joined and this has been the best money I've spent in years. Oh yeah the staff is great and they have a shake bar and filtered water. You are doing yourself a disservice if you live in the area and don't at least check this place out. You can thank me once you join. I'm the tall handsome guy with glasses there everyday.

Lastly the Power Gym takes its hygiene seriously because it doesn't smell like sweat and kept very clean which is a lot more than I can say for other gyms.
