Bathrooms are very nice and the sauna is a great touch.

Expérience fantastique: I HAVE to give a huge shout-out to Ken and the team at Onyx Fitness Solutions. I started a 6 week personal training program with Ken, and it was a life changing experience. I've lost 26 pounds in 6 weeks. I've always had bad knees and ankles, but Ken knew how to strengthen them without risking injury. I can honestly say that my knees and legs have never felt stronger. I highly recommend investing in yourself and hiring Ken!

Expérience négative: I would join with **CAUTION** Hopefully this doesn't happen now that the pandemic is over I joined during a time lockdowns were briefly lifted for a month then shutdown again So I only had a few weeks @ the gym before it was shutdown again Well I guess they tried pulling out during the shut down & there was a issue.... no one tried to call, email me, send a letter... nothing. The gym was shutdown so didnt even think they would try to pull out during the shut down. So without a single attempt to contact me they put my account into collections & I had the collections agency harassing my work for me to pay for the full year when I only used a few weeks worth. I couldn't contact the gym when I tried calling. The daily calls to my work were so embarrassing & annoying from the collection agency I paid $686 so it would stop. A couple of friends in Essex said the same happened to them during the same time but they didn'have the money to pay so it sits in their collections My advice.... don't go to a privately owned gym Go to a well known gym Or what I do from this experience is buy your own equipment if your serious about daily exercise

Expérience fantastique: A clean, 24/7 gym with an amazing sauna and not overcrowded with the exception of 4-8pm, which is like any other gym. Friendly staff, always saying hi and smiling! Great equipment from squat racks to treadmills and a turf area! Great for bodybuilding, powerlifting, cardio and just a place to relax! Music can be better, but thats every gym.

So i set up a time with ken to check it out and have a chat. Ken was super helpful picked my brain like a trainer should amd i like how he worded his stuff like asking what kind car would you be. He gave me a routine that would work for being a psw and i was dead set to get start once i got back to work and bam im off and .....life right but i definitely recommend this gym.

Expérience fantastique: I was in Essex for a week with my family and was looking for a gym. Onyx was recommended to us by a few people so thought it was worth checking out and it did not disappoint! Kim and Ken were super helpful even before we arrived and offered the best customer service throughout our stay. We were very impressed w the space and the gym is very well equipped! Also appreciated how helpful another trainer (didn’t get her name unfortunately) was on the days we were working out - she saw me looking for different pieces of equipment and proactively pointed me in the right direction or offered to get me an attachment to help me. And loved how Ken and the trainer would say hi or bye as people came in and out of the gym. Was really lovely! Would highly recommend and will plan to return on our next visit. Expérience fantastique: If you're new to Essex area, this gym is amazing 24/7 access I just finished a session with personal trainer Jessica, I had never used half the machines out of fear and not knowing how to use them. I'm now confident in my work outs now and ready to go on my own Ken and Kim the owners are amazing, as well as the entire staff

My goal was to find a routine to help build my lower back strength as well my core to prevent injuries as I'm not getting any younger! John was an incredible trainer! I highly recommend him for anyone that's looking for any sort of guidance. I was able to build a routine with him that catered to my goals and build the confidence in myself to achieve the goals that I made! Thanks so much Onyx fitness! I met Ken (who I believe is the owner) and he was very welcoming and accommodating. The gym has all the essentials required to complete any workout you desire. You're 400lbs and too busy playing on your Nintendo switch your wife's boyfriend bought you. Onyx is a superior facility and the members can testify to that!

The facility is always clean and doesn't have that "smelly gym " smell. They always have good music on and a great variety of work out machines.

Expérience fantastique: The staff and owners are friendly and helpful, it is conveniently located in town with 24 hour access (by each member's key fob), guest WIFI, clean facility, a good range of equipment available and not overcrowded because of the wide open schedule of 24 hour access. As crazy as it sounds, it is nice to know that the Fire Department is across the street.....you start to think of these things when you get older and you are having physical exertion and pushing your limits. So knowing that there are trained emergency responders often close by, seems to help a little. Hopefully they will never be needed by anyone. ;) Jeff Campeau

Plus put on muscle I did not think it would be possible this fast. The staff at Onyx are very good and educated well in there field. Between the diet plan they made out for me and the work out plan, I am seeing results I in 33 years of life could not accomplish on my own.
