Expérience fantastique: I go swimming here with my kids often I enjoy that it's not so busy and the staff are always friendly and truly care about the safety of others

Expérience positive: Nice pool, has a waterfall in the super shallows. Good dive heights. Has a hot tub and steam room that are usually pretty hot. Weight room is good and not super busy just not super big either. Sometimes its a little unsupervised like 1 lifeguard for 20 ppl kind of thing.

I am a full time lane swimmer and swim at most of the north city pools .Give credit to Clareview ,Grandtrunk and Eastglen pools are kept very clean (dressing rooms).Oleary pool should get lessons to see how those other pools are clean and why Oleary falls behind for cleanliness .

Expérience fantastique: Our new favourite pool. As our son learns to be more comfortable in the water the tots pool is perfect. Life guards are always on hand and switching on the slide and getting water toys out is never a problem. Very chilled and never too busy, we usually visit mid morning Sunday.

Expérience positive: I dislike that the staff waits until every single person is out of the change rooms before letting the next group in. The pool sits empty for a good half hour between public swim and community swim, which are basically the same. Are all the lifeguards on break at the same time? Is there another reason? Otherwise, the facilities are nice.

Expérience positive: The pool is good, the workout room is smaller, and there are minimal free weights. Dumbells maximum weight is 90 pounds. No 35 pound free weight for bench press, squats, etc. One is able to get minimal workout at this location.

Expérience fantastique: Kids love going here! Has a slide and diving boards, rope and fun for Littles too!

Expérience négative: Great facility. But the customer service at the reception is awful. It is incredibly disappointing to see such poor treatment of people from an institution that provides community services to promote wellness, social interaction and community development.

Expérience positive: Excellent, diverse, modern gym - with the best AC & excellent music system. Has freshwater dive pool, lane pool, waterslide, as well as a fun kids play area, There's a very hot steam room & oversized hot tub. Only downside is the lack of a dry sauna :(

Expérience fantastique: This place is great This place is great, it has everything you need to exercise, it's very clean but it needs some machines, but I really like this place because it's very quiet and relaxing, good for exercising, I've been going for a week so my whole body hurts. It means that we will start to progress.

Expérience négative: Daily Features include : -Pool acting as local laundromat for low-income "people" -Fully clothed adults in disgustingly dirty street clothes -New POC immigrants using the pool to bathe for the very first time. -Immigrant stank so potent you'll believe your in a 3rd world country. -Near-drowning experiences from 3rd world country adults who have never swam, but still jump right in the dive pool.

The staff are very welcoming and nice Equipment is nee and well maintained Yes everything works no ( poorly or non working) machines I also noticed the life guards pay extra attention to everyone They are attentive and they genuinely care not just someone at work The pool and hot tub / steam room are all very well kept I go there almost daily it's been almost 2 years and it's always in great shape

Expérience positive: A good swimming center, but why are some people allowed to swim in street clothes? It is not a good thing. This should be prevented because street clothes are clean, and everyone who enters the pool must wear a swimsuit.

Expérience fantastique: Lots of great amenities here that's not aren't available at different rec centers like the Tarzan rope or waterfalls for ppls backs. I personally don't like them, but lots do it makes me itchy, lol. The steam rooms are the best here, nice n hot!!! My only complaint is that it closes early, and the steam room is kinda small, so it can get very loud inside

Expérience positive: My son took swimming lessons there my daughter loves the pool as well I have been taking my kids and I have been going to O'Leary pools for 24 years the only problem is the lack of judgment and responsibilities the lifeguards do in keeping control of the older children in the teach Pool. otherwise I still enjoy taking my kids to the pool and what I don't like is they change the policy of special needs children not allowing to get in free anymore. I also don't like the change room that they have for the family no lockers on the inside on the outside their tiny lockers and only a few of them. The change room is too small for families the changing rooms should be bigger like the ACT center p00l. otherwise the pool is still great I will continue taking my daughter there

Expérience fantastique: We have been a blessing to be a family of O’Leary leisure centre for nearly 10 years and all my children have been taking a swimming lesson at this facility and as a mother of autistic son who has a many different types of development or cognitive disability we are blessed to have met so many swimming instructors staff and management who are passionate, understanding, supportive, patient, caring and a knowledge of those who are struggling with mental illness. Also, my daughter who started at age of five this facility her swimming lessons and now she is 13 years old who is hoping to be a swimming instructors as she gets older. I hope she will work a place like this so she could enjoy her career with the support from her team. I would definitely recommend anyone who is interested in a small community place, with swimming lessons at this facility. Good luck

Expérience positive: I usually bring my kids here because they really enjoy the rope swing I'm not a big fan of the way the family change rooms are set up. It is an older facility so it's understandable. Lifeguards were friendly and take pride in their jobs.

Expérience positive: The pool area had a lot for kids. We were watching our kids but some parents were definitely not watching their kids. Definitely bring footwear for the dressing room floors are very dirty.

Expérience négative: On July 3rd I took my granddaughter to public swim 2 to 4. We arrive 5 mins early and stood in line. They were having issues with their computer, so they let all the kids with season passes in but not the ones who were wanting to pay, explain to a 4 year old how come some get to go and no others, not fun. We offered to pay after swimming but we're told we need wristbands so no. I asked if they could do it manually and I was told if I wanted to swim I could go down the street to grand trunk, not a kid friendly pool. I will not return to a pool which has such disregard for kids and family, they only cared about the almighty dollar. I don't recommend giving them your money

Expérience fantastique: Good, inexpensive gym and fun pool for kids. Very experienced and friendly staff. Hit my head on the bottom of the pool and they helped me and made sure I was ok.

Expérience fantastique: I like O'Leary pool for its cleanliness, staff and amenities given the size of the facility. Free electronic lockers are also a huge plus. The only knock is that it lacks some of the jazzy stuff in the newer facilities and the steam room is down at present. I'd give it a 4.5 Update: 2024-02-05: Steam room is up and running.

Expérience fantastique: Visited on a Saturday thinking it would be busy. It wasn't. I forgot it was the long weekend. Sat swim classes were cancelled. Great facility and helpful staff. I particularly appreciated the diving board. They have 3 levels, a swing rope and water slide. Clean indoor tot playground for kids up to 6. Air conditioned too.

Expérience positive: Small place with limited hours of work, it is good choice for who living neighborhood, or for who want tech their children to swim, there are two swim pools, steam room, and jacuzzi with extra pool the water coming from top, plus Gym. مكان صغير مع ساعات عمل محددة، خيارٌ جيد للذين يعيشون بالقرب منها ، او للذين لديهم اطفال اذ يقدم دروس تعليمية في السباحة، يتوفر المركز على صالة العاب رياضية "Gym " مع حوضين للسباحة، احدهما عميق والآخر متوسط، وحوض تنساب المياه على شكل شلال تستطيع ان تستمتع تحتها، وغرفة بخار صغيرة مع درجة حرارة قرب 48 درجة مئوية ، وجاكوزي مع درجة حرارة قرب 40 درجة .... اما بخصوص اماكن تبديل الملابس تحتاج للمزيد من الاهتمام والنظافة.

Expérience positive: Not alot of public swim times during the day for littles. Most of the public swim times are in the evening beginning at 5 or 6, even during the weekends.

Expérience négative: Really frustrating when your schedule says your open, online says you're open but then when you show up the doors are locked. And maybe you can do something about the school parents filling up the parking lots during the week.. I personally will never use this facility again.
