Expérience fantastique: Fantastic gym. Great price point. They have enough equipment to always have something available within your workout. Great variety and layout of equipment and facilities. Love the staff, extremely friendly and helpful, nothing like the reviews I'm reading, sounds like the 1 star attitudes are beyond inflated. I would definitely recommend this location.

Expérience négative: Canceled my membership approximately 2 months ago and they have still been taking out the 28 dollars every two weeks, had to put a stop payment on them for my bank, and they reached out to me a week ago again saying my balance is overdue, I emailed them back saying that I had canceled the membership and that they've taken out enough payments to cover the cancelation fee, they told me that the cancelation wasn't input properly even though I had to go back to cancel two separate times, they then emailed me back saying it was canceled and that I still have to pay the cancelation fee even though they've taken approximately 112 dollars from my bank since the cancelation. On top of that to begin with I wanted to subscribe monthly so that if I wanted to cancel there wouldn't be a fee no commitment, but was pressured by employees at this location to do the year plan and that's where they get you. Be very careful of charges with this gym and keep a close eye on your bank account after cancelation.

Expérience fantastique: I have registered in GYMVMT on April. There was a really really pleasant lady named “Sarah Gabramaskal“ who is a really supportive lady at the gym. She is so kind, supportive, honest, and reliable staff at the gym. If you get any issues or even if you have any concerns, I would recommend talking to her only. She is the best and the reason I'm still at the gym movement is because of her nice behaviour. If I want to write a good review I would love to write a letter to the main office managers that they have to look at these staff. They deserve to be granted and get a good award. Expérience négative: While the gym space and equipment were top-notch, my experience took a frustrating turn after spinal surgery. Trying to quit the gym became a complete nightmare. Despite my medical condition, they insisted I had to show up in person to cancel my membership, making an already difficult situation even worse. Why is it so hard to cancel a gym membership? This lack of flexibility and customer care overshadowed what could have been a positive experience.

Expérience positive: Good gym. I have been a client for 2 years. Gym itself is kept quite clean but the clientele is terrible with public washroom cleanliness, surprising when we are all grown adults. I find myself picking up tp left on the floor in the stalls as well as pt left on the counters quite often. This issue is beyond the staff as they have cleaners on site daily. The odd piece of equipment needs to be multiplied. Ex, every gym should have more than one smith machine (this one could use at least 3). Despite those things, this remains my favorite gym in the area (I've tried them all). The staff is always friendly, especially Emma, she is always smiling and is a great part of the team here.

Expérience positive: I held a membership at this Gymvmt location for over a year; however, swapped recently to a competitor. The staff at this gym are quite knowledgeable but the equipment and machine are all slowly aging out. The treadmills are continuously broken and out of service for days and require a technician for repair. Once repaired, they are out of services within a few short days after.

Expérience fantastique: I’ve been a member for about a year now, and I’ve never had a negative experience. The gym is always clean and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Plus Caitlin and Lori have the best spin classes so I’d highly recommend trying their classes! They cater their classes to all skill levels so whether you’re new to spin or a regular their classes are for you :)

I've been going to Gold's Gym for near half a year now, I've tried a cramped community gym, and another large chain-brand gym, Fitness World, and I've trained at home as best I could for years before I could afford a gym membership, but GYMMVT has stuck in my mind as a fond memory, and I was only there for a month. Five stars, give 'er a try, and I can guarantee you, you will not be disappointed by GYMMVT. P.S. Local to Alberta, too!

They have a variety of group classes and you can also sign up for personal training if you want. And the staff are very friendly and helpful if you have questions!

Lots of great people and staff overall, but I’ve heard racist rants against minorities and Jews, and wild conspiracy theories about COVID. Manager informed but she said people had a "right to their opinions." But these opinions have descended into violence and even police presence. New manager seems better so hopefully zero tolerance in future.

Expérience fantastique: Her Gymvmt Beacon is one of the most beautiful all women's gyms in Calgary. When you walk in you are greeted by smiling faces at the front desk. The gym is stylishly designed with state of the art workout equipment, with a special area just for the booty! The gym is open, bright, spacious and clean. The best part are the people just enjoying their workout. There is a sense of community where the focus is on womans health, wellness and strength training. The fitness consultants and personal trainers are kind, caring, knowledgeable professionals who are willing to help you to be your best no matter what your goals. Oh and if you want classes they have those too, from Zumba, yoga, to full throttle strength and more

Expérience négative: If I could give this company - stars I would. My boyfriend had gotten a membership here and decided he wanted to cancel it, fully willing to pay the cancellation fee. He called them and said he’d come in to cancel it when he could but he’d still make the payments on it. Instead they stopped taking the payments altogether without even talking to him and decided to send it to collections, they refuse to fix it. They did not communicate with the customer and screwed up his credit for absolutely no reason at all. This lack of communication and pure ignorance is unacceptable. I do not ever recommend getting a membership here, they clearly don’t know what they are doing, clearly are not professional, don’t fix their mistakes and they are clearly incapable of properly communicating with their customers.

Expérience négative: Scam artists! Robbed me of start up fees after lying about the payment frequencies. Don’t waste your money here! They are liars and thieves! Wont return my start up fees after I confronted them about their sly tactics. STAY AWAY! Chanceline is the most unhelpful general manager I’ve ever had to deal with. And Shae is the employee who lied and then when confronted couldn’t deny that she wasn’t honest. Gym is also dirty and sauna most facilities aren’t even working. Lots of great gyms in the area. Take your money elsewhere!

Expérience fantastique: Mia was excellent towards customers, she was fantastic towards me and my friends. She is an great receptionist here and really recommend coming here. Another fantastic worker here is my boy David, he's a great guy here that really helps people find their way and start their journey in the gym, Mia and David are my favorite co workers here and don't doubt coming here.

Every patron that ive interacted with has been understanding, respectful and friendly when it comes to getting your workout in and giving you the space to do it. The staff here are amazing. People like Mia, Amanda, Seth and Rámon are only always cheeeful, fun and helpful. Its a very upbeat and welcoming vibe all around. Ive been going to gyms for 25 years and this is one of the best i have ever had the pleasure of going to.

I did talked to them they said they had it as a freezing. Their fault for not doing canceling it beside that refusing to refund me the money back…. Such a scam I will tell all my friends and family to cancel and go somewhere else better….

With that being said I do not leave my house often and when I do this gym is the only place I go to and that’s because It is clean and the people who work there are welcoming and kind and warm.
