Expérience négative: Decent gym, great staff. Unfortunately some of the members often dont rerack the weights or leave garbage in random spots, and half the leg machines are out of service, not to mention people often doing supersets during busy hours. Other than that, this gym is good.

Expérience fantastique: I’ve been training at this gym for the past year, and working with Kelly has been one of the best choices I’ve made for my health. From day one, she took the time to understand my goals and what works best for me. Her workouts are challenging but doable, and always keep me motivated. I leave each session feeling stronger and proud of the progress I’m making. Kelly is professional, knowledgeable, and encouraging. She knows when to push and when to adjust things, which has helped me stay consistent and avoid injury. I also want to mention Cliff, the manager he’s super friendly and always welcoming. The gym itself is very clean, well-maintained, and has everything you need for a solid workout.

Expérience négative: Tried cancelling my membership made my intent clear but wasn’t given the required form until much later after I had to follow up again. Then suddenly, I was told I needed to come in person to “authorize” cancellation. For what? It’s a basic gym membership, not an oath of office.I wasn’t signing a contract to serve the country I just wanted to cancel a recurring payment. The refusal to accept a signed PDF in 2025 is baffling. It’s almost like they intentionally complicate the process to drag out one more billing cycle.the system is designed to make you feel like a liability the moment you try to leave. No flexibility, no ownership of delays on their part just clingy bureaucracy dressed up as “policy.” Wouldn’t recommend unless you plan to stay forever… or enjoy paperwork.

Right from the friendly community to the quality of the equipment, from the cleanliness in the gym to the warm staff, this gym ticks all the boxes. Never have we ever entered the gym and not being greeted by Cliff, the manager, or any other staff working there; that's how homely the gym has always felt. People here are supportive and they boost each other, what else do you need!

Expérience fantastique: Snap Fitness is a smaller gym. With most of the equipment you would need to successfully lift the only drawbacks from it being a smaller gym is that during peak hours it does seem to get crowded. They do have quite the option for free weights to cardio equipment to chest and back and everyone’s favourite legs. The best aspect of the gym is that it is 24/7. And that the equipment is always maintained and also very clean due to staff and the continued support of the gym goers. It is at a very competitive price point for what you’re actually getting and they don’t try to lock you into a contract. If you don’t want to be in one there is access point from the front and the back and tons of parking I would recommend this gym to beginners and veterans just as the whole entire aspect of the gym and the people in it are amazing.

Expérience positive: It’s a good gym with amazing employees, but the size of the gym is starting to bother me for the price I pay monthly. It is super frustrating when the gym gets just a little busy and I can’t even use free benches because people are squished together, being in the way of your workout. It would be amazing if this gym expanded in size, especially considering the 50$ monthly and hefty cancelation price.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I could not attend the gym, and two days ago, I got called by a collection company that wanted me to pay 210 dollars, threatening to report me to the credit bureau.

Evolve, World Health (multiple locations), LA fitness, Golds, Goodlife and Gymmvmt.... Snap South has been the best experience out of all these gyms in the past decade. What I love: - Very helpful and knowledgeable staff, particularly Cliff and Mason. I really hope the owners know what they have in Cliff, probably the best manager I've ever interacted with in or outside of a fitness facility - Friendly staff all round - Very clean facilities - Great prices, particularly if you pay in full - Great variety of machines, racks, boxes, plyo boxes.. - Nautilus Glute Drive () - Weekly riddles, goals/target and deals - Contests every once in a while (Love these!) - Decent supplement selection, free samples to make sure it doesn't taste like poison - Tanning booth with VERY reasonable prices - I can't speak to the PT's other than that they are very friendly because I have not used their services Areas for improvement (Extremely rare/minor annoyances) - Sometimes the soap dispensers run out on the weekends - Some of the automatic paper towel dispensers don't want to give you more than a single sheet. All in all this is probably the best gym I've ever been to since I started working out in 2004. The value is unparalleled. Yes it can be busy during peak times, but what successful gym isn't? I highly recommend Snap Fitness South.

Expérience fantastique: Yesterday I called 3 gyms (before the restriction announcement) to inquire about rates and membership options. I was looking for a one month membership and the other gyms were either priced over $140 for a single month, or weren't interested at all in a short term contract. When I called Snap Fitness, Cliff answered my call and listened to what I was looking for and helped me figure out how to do do it. I've never stopped by or worked out at this location but if Cliff is any indication of how they do things, I would recommend it to anyone. Good rates, best service. Well done Cliff, well done.

Once you are a member they try and get you to sell the membership to friends and family.. and when you finally do they dont honor the referral.. on top of that the lady at the counter has terrible etiquette and not polite at all. If you come in with others that have a membership she makes you scan and then shut the door on your group. Then makes them wait and do it again in. -30 temperature. Great way to treat a customer that you are pulling from their bank account 40$ every 2 weeks. Cancelling and moving on. Great job snap your receptionist lost you another client.

One that encourages fitness not money in the pocket of the owners. I would not have gotten a gym membership had said friend not encouraged me. But they are just after crazy trainer fees. How dare someone have a friend to help.

The community is solid, the facility is extremely clean, membership pricing is competitive, and the staff are friendly and member-focused. Management has been known to bring in supplements and products that members request - even if it's something they don't carry or usually stock - just for the sake of member convenience and providing quality service. If you're looking for more of a boutique, down to earth and family-run feel, then this is the gym for you.
