Expérience positive: Overall the gym is good. Been going for over a year. Lots of equipment and clean. Can get pretty busy. Women’s area is small and limited. Resistance machines and some free weights. I find you can outgrow it pretty quickly. No mirrors at the smith machine so can’t watch form. I’ve heard some of the other locations have a better women’s areas but I haven’t gone myself. If you were wanting a gym for women’s area only I would go different location or gym. But otherwise the gym is great.

Expérience fantastique: Won a free month at Motion Fitness so I thought I would check it out. Having never really exercised in this way, Haidar was exceptionally helpful at introducing how the gym equipment works and setting up a fitness routine. At the time that I have been attending (mid-morning), the Stonebridge location was not so busy that I could do my 1.5 hour routine comfortably. Impressed by the custodial staff as well, who were continually cleaning the floors and equipment. Now that I am retired, I plan to become a regular attendee. Definitely recommend!

He has been my personal trainer for almost 3 years and also trains one of my sons and his wife. He is very personable and always a joy to train with. I would have no hesitation in recommending him. Expérience négative: They took 2 payments and a $30 surcharge of some sorts for a nsf charge, which i disagreed..Refused to return it nor to pay it back, ask them to add it to my membership balance, also refused..

Expérience fantastique: Haider who is one of the trainers at Motion Fitness Stonebridge did 2 amazing things for me. The first thing was finding & safekeeping 2 important duffle bags which I had left in the parking lot. Haider also went out of his way to get a charger to charge my battery after I had left my lights on. I really appreciate his kindness! Vanessa who works at the front desk is thoughtful & helpful. The staff (Ismah) was receptive and change the bad impression received from the Brighton location just 30 minutes prior (Approximately 13:30/13:45 today) I hope something is done about the staff there at the Brighton location that almost had Motion Fitness lost me a future customer. I will be signing up for sure this coming week.

Expérience positive: Love this gym! Come all the time. BUT (and it’s a big but) the music is horrible. Why the playlist would be soft pop during peak gym hours, every day, I don’t get it!! It does not set the vibe at all. A change to a better playlist would be much appreciated.

The members who work out here are also fantastic. I'm particularly happy about the new leg compression equipment; it's a great addition to Motion Fitness. While the membership price is a bit higher, it's justified by the inclusion of all facilities, classes, and tanning. Finally, the staff at the front desk are consistently professional and kind.

This place is consistently clean, well-managed, and actually enjoyable to train at. Mohammed deserves a serious shoutout for keeping the gym in top shape — floors, equipment, change rooms, everything is always spotless. The layout is spacious, the vibe is good, and the staff usually has everything under control. Now let’s talk steam rooms — Stonebridge actually has one that works and feels great. Unlike Blairmore’s “under construction since forever” sauna or Lawson’s dark and sad excuse of a steam room, this one does the job right. If you're choosing between Motion locations, Stonebridge wins. Every. Single. Time. Highly recommend

Expérience positive: Honestly I love this gym. However, you are apparently allowed to talk on the phone in the relaxing massage chair room with dim lighting. This may be great for some. Is frustrating for others. Red light therapy isn’t at a therapeutic level. Otherwise the gym is clean, smells clean, and the staff are nice.

Expérience positive: Great gym but the hand dryers in women’s bathroom are unusable . That is my only complaint at this gym! Everything else is great. I haven’t talked to one woman who likes the dryers. We all just wipe our hands on our pants or go in the sauna to dry hands. The cleaner, who is wonderful, leaves folder paper towels on her cart when it is there, probably because she knows people will use her towels. If the dryers were good we would use them!

Tonmoy greets me every single time I arrive with a smile and a fist bump, and helps kick every workout off as best as possible. With the new hack squat, I have every exercise I could imagine right at my finger tips. And to top off every workout I’ve had MANY great steam sessions and friendly conversations with all types of people. Great place to workout, body build, recover from sports injuries, and get to know all types of people.

Expérience fantastique: I have been attending Stonebridge Motion Fitness for 5 months now. It is a great gym and the staff are always very friendly and welcoming! I have been working with my personal trainer Alayna. She is a wonderful trainer! She is always in an uplifting mood, she has taught me so much and has helped me achieve the results I want! Every session is so much fun with her. I highly recommend this facility and trainers.

Expérience fantastique: Stonebridge Motion Fitness is a great gym! My husband and I love the group fitness classes and participate almost daily. The instructors are friendly, knowledgeable and encouraging. Since we joined, we’ve noticed an improvement in our strength, mobility, and balance. All Stonebridge Motion Fitness staff are so friendly and welcoming and make us feel like we’re part of a community. The gym is very clean and well maintained. Expérience positive: I am a nurse and wanted a gym that I would be able to use around my work schedule - however more and more frequently the hours are reduced and I can’t access the gym. When I can, equipment is frequently in need of repair. Definitely not as advertised or promised. Edit: I did follow up with an email and my concerns were raised after this most recent closure (I worked all of these days I will add), but reflect a pattern that has nothing to do with this recent weather. The hours will not improve and the company line seems to be that I should be grateful the Brighton location has been open. I am not. I have been a member for years and paid to workout in my community. Members at the other three locations are expected to pay the increasing fees, but expect/accept decreasing services. Having tried the Brighton location as my home location, I miss the gym culture that exists at Stonebridge and Blairmore (I don’t frequent Lawson enough to speak to what it is like there). If you are new to the gym and want a location with a friendly gym culture, Stonebridge is great. Generally, members are friendly and the staff is very approachable if you have questions or need help. The gym has basically everything without being overwhelmingly huge. While I am unhappy for some reasons, there is a lot I love about Stonebridge

Expérience fantastique: My wife and I retired from our law practice in 2021 at the age of 70. We had been walking our dogs and working out on our treadmills and doing a little swimming from time to time, but otherwise had spent most of our lives at the office for many years. We moved to Saskatoon in late 2022 to be close to our children and grandchildren and after reading “Younger Next Year” and “Thinner This Year” by Chris Crowley et al we decided that we needed to start weight training and pay more attention to what we eat. We strongly recommend the Younger Next Year books! So we joined Motion Fitness in Saskatoon’s Stonebridge. It is a wonderful well equipped gym and well managed by Mohammed. When we arrive every morning the staff at the counter greet us and make us feel very welcome. The cleaning staff keep the gym super clean, which of course is a challenge in a gym. The people at the gym are very friendly and we have made many friends there. The gym is now the centre of our morning life, and if we miss a day or so that is not overlooked. Immediately on joining, and following the advice of the Younger Next Year books, we hired one of the professional personal trainers at Motion Fitness. For the first few months Emmanuel worked with us three times a week to get us started. He was fantastic and drew up an exercise program that we have continued to follow and to which we have added exercises from the Younger Next Year books. We have just recently celebrated our first anniversary at Motion Fitness and will be celebrating our 73rd birthdays next week - we are one day apart in age. Thanks to our experience at Motion Fitness in the past year our mobility has improved and we are stronger and fitter. And while we are another year older we are truly feeling several years younger!

Expérience négative: The gym needs to have a deep clean, it is extremely smelly all the time no matter if it is busy or not. The water refill station needs to be cleaned more often as well as there is build up on it every time I have been. I won’t be getting a membership here until the cleanliness gets solved! The Brighton Motion Fitness has better value for the people paying to be there.
