Expérience négative: I came to this gym expecting to work out and improve my health, but instead I was treated with discrimination and disrespect. I was denied entry with my service dog, even though service dogs are legally permitted in public spaces, including gyms. The staff member was not only dismissive but also rude in their approach, which left me feeling dehumanized and unwelcome. Their actions caused my anxiety to skyrocket and turned what should have been a normal gym visit into a humiliating experience. Having a service dog is already difficult enough without facing unnecessary barriers from businesses that should know the law. No one should be made to feel lesser for simply wanting equal access. I hope the management takes this seriously, educates their staff on accessibility and disability rights, and ensures no one else has to experience what I did. I haven’t got an apology from the manager or the staff member.

Expérience négative: Staff and management would rather have a customer put at risk than allow a service dog into the facility. Save yourself from the rude staff and go to a different gym.

Expérience fantastique: I've been coming here for a good year and a half, used to go to shaw and I have to say this gym is so much nicer. Sure it's more expensive but you get what you pay for, more machines. A sauna and massage chairs. All the staff are great, very kind and welcoming especially Humaira who is always super welcoming. Love Motion Fitness edit: I had to cancel my membership due to external reasons, still a great gym and Femi was incredibly helpful throughout the cancelation process!

Expérience fantastique: My kids and I love coming to Motion Fitness Blairmore. The facility is great and I wish I could rate the childcare more than 5 stars! My toddlers love coming to play in the daycare. Humaira is so fun and caring, and is fabulous with all the children who attend.

Expérience négative: If I am being honest my experience here hasn’t been the greatest. I have been here a few times now and each visit wasn’t great at all. No one was at the font desk for maybe 20-25 minutes I waited and waited to ask a question about some things and to let someone who worked there that people were vaping inside while they workout! I went in another day to cancel my gym membership my year came up. They told me they canceled it but payments continued to still come out. I have called numerous times and went in to cancel it. I had to change my whole banking for them to stop the payments.

Expérience fantastique: The Blairmore location is my absolute favourite Motion in Saskaton. Abi, the front desk worker is such a pleasure to talk yo and is always up for a chat. He makes going to the gym in the early mornings that much more enjoyable. The facility is clean, and is kind of like a hidden gem in Saskatoon. It doesn't get as busy as the other locations in the early mornings which is a huge plus.

Expérience négative: First visit=last visit. No staff around the floor to ask anything, after I went through the whole “we need all your info” bs at the front, just so I could check it out. Did 15 minutes on the bike, while getting stink eyed by some guy fondling the heavy bag upstairs, who then decided it was a good idea to vape. Again, no staff around to say anything. Sincerely disappointed it was such an uncomfortable experience. No idea what they charge for a membership, but I’m sure it’s probably too much.

Expérience fantastique: [EDIT: Thanks Amanda, the manager, for reaching out to me to clarify that we can, in fact, set the sauna for longer than 10 mins, and that she has removed the sign stating otherwise. Now I can turn on the sauna before my workout, and then come back to a hot sauna that's ready to be used.] I love using the sauna -- it was one of the main reasons I got a membership at Motion Fitness. I really hope the sauna can be fixed soon, because it's really inconvenient that we aren't able to set the timer longer than 10 minutes, as most of the time when I want to use it, it hasn't been used in a while and it's cold, so I will have to wait for it to heat up. But we don't always have enough time to wait for it to heat up and use it. Or there's the occasional time that it will turn off completely/wont turn on and we have to go and ask a staff member to reset it. I've been to other MF locations that have the saunas set/turned on all the time so it's always ready to use, so it's just unfortunate that the location closest to me doesnt have a fully functioning sauna

Expérience négative: the gym should be a place where cleanliness should be number one. i had an unfortunate encounter with the older east indian gentleman in the bathroom stalls. as soon as he was done with his business , he then proceeded to continue walking out to the front desk without washing his hands. there are days he’d be picking his teeth and wipe it on his shirt. not really something you’d want to see at a facility that has a lot of equipment touching involved.
