Expérience positive: New place is very nice, but I'm not a fan of some of the new things, The lights are blinding high when you try to lay on a bench, there's no lobby to prep or hang for a bit, and this applies to the male bathroom, but I don't like to do a public walk to get to the sauna, and all the privacy for baths is gone, you can see everything through the curtains. I really want to keep coming here, so I hope things get better, I know they just moved, and I still wish them good luck with business.

Expérience fantastique: The people that work here are top notch and once you enter the gym you are in for a treat. The equipment here is exceptional. The only area for improvement is the Sauna needs to be able to get to 180F and stay there to enjoy all the benefits of a 20 minute session. Looking forward to seeing your new location.

Expérience fantastique: This place is awesome. I'm in Dawson Creek on a 10-day work trip and I needed a gym while I was here. I met a super-friendly gal at the counter who hooked me up with a 2-week pass and a FOB! The fob access is clutch. I've been here twice so far and I love this gym. It reminds me of an old gym with all the pictures on the walls (killer touch, btw), but it has really modern equipment and all of it is in great condition. It has a great mix of machines, free weights, racks, etc and the full-length turf is unreal. Anyone I've talked to so far is really friendly. Did I mention I love this gym? It's really, really clean and you can tell whoever owns this place takes a lot of pride in it. If you're in Dawson Creek for any length of time and need a gym, make this your home base. I can't say enough good things about it.

They have every piece of equipment you can imagine. Great options for drop in weekly or monthly. Perfect for the guys on LOA and trying to keep up the routine. Expérience fantastique: I visited DC a few times in 2019 & was able to workout here quite a bit. Friendly staff, drop in prices were fair, facility was well kept & clean, unique equipment that I haven't seen in many other gyms which was exciting. I hit my greatest deadlift PR here easy & I want to attribute part of that to the unreal atmosphere of True North! Nothing but good things to say & I hope to be back some day.

Expérience fantastique: There’s many great things to touch on in regards to a review. I’ll keep it short 1. Gym equipment - always in good working order 2. Always toilet paper, paper towel available 3. Clean 4. Set up well for beginner or expert lifters 5. A lot of real gem equipment that’s not usually seen in small town gyms 6. Price is decent, not the best, not the worst I’ll continue using this facility until I’m finished working in Dawson creek!

Expérience positive: Two squat racks and two deadlift platforms. If you’re tall (6’ +) the squat racks are too short to over head press in so you either have to clean it or press outside the rack without safety pins. They have bumper plates and seemed fine with the bar being dropped after cleans. Regular chalk is not allowed but liquid chalk is and they even have a bottle of it at the front desk you can use if you forgot yours. Staff seemed nice and helpful. Lots of machines, a variety of cardio equipment, prowlers and a space to use them (though awkwardly the space bisects the gym so it’s a touch in the way). Change rooms were small and very few lockers were available. The ones that were were too small to fit my gym bag. Has a CrossFit area if you want to tear your acl. Overall if you’re looking for a good gym for barbell exercises and/or lifting heavy this is it. Could use more/taller squat racks and a couple more platforms but considering they even have them that’s head and shoulders beyond most other gyms. Would recommend/10

Expérience fantastique: Hands down the best gym in Dawson Creek! The owners are extremely hands on and very helpful. Don't know how to use a machine? They'll demo it for you! The gym is so clean, and the atmosphere is incredible. Whether you're brand new to the gym, or you're a body builder this gym is top notch. All the equipment is brand new and so nice! The fact that there is a supplement store inside is just the icing on the cake. Forgot your preworkout? They got you covered! Need some new protein powder or a supplement? They've got that too! Go check this place out, you won't regret it!
