Expérience positive: i enjoy this gym, I go myself with my sons and their friends as well. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The amount of variety, equipment and machines available is great. I can any kind of routine i want to do. I have made friends at the gym atmosphere is is good. The gym is also very affordable and unfortunately this attracts people that don't follow good gym eticates. One main issue is theft and lost items never returned. Very few put away their weights and this results in bent bars and ruined machines. Also even fewer people bring a towel and this destroys the upholstry quicker. I have no issue with the gym though but the rules can be rexplained to everybody that don't care to follow them.

Expérience négative: The staff is nice but that’s not what makes me want to go to a gym. I’m not happy with this gym. Machines are old and in poor condition. Seats are wobbly. The straps for the bike pedals are missing/broken. A lot of missing dumbbells and cable attachments. Weight plates all over the floor. Plus it is super hot in the gym. I am not someone who gets soaked in sweat after a workout, but this has been my experience here as of late. It’s not normal. Also, the clientele is incredibly loud and disruptive. No respect for other users. If you want to be loud and yell each time you lift your weights, go to a private gym. The gym is too big and overwhelming in my opinion, and it’s very busy. I can never do my full workouts because people hog the machines. Ceiling fixtures and infrastructure appears very run down too. I regret leaving my previous gym for this one. I heard many good things about United. It’s probably gone downhill now.

Expérience fantastique: Je veux laisser un commentaire pour la massothérapeute Soumia. C’est une magicienne. Elle est compétente, forte et professionnelle. J’en ai essayé des massages , mais Soumia c’est plus que ça! Après une séance seulement , je me sens beaucoup mieux et soulagé de mon mal de cou et de dos. Je reviendrais mille fois!!!

Expérience positive: J'ai apprécié beaucoup les cours de Zumba avec Alberto et Estner,les salles de musculation sont bien équipés,vestiaires et sanitaires propres,coachs professionnels,le seul point noir de United Jym est la climatisation durant l'été,malheureusement ça dure depuis des années surtout dans la salle de Fitness et la grande salle et pourquoi l'eau chaude est coupé au Sona en hiver,?veuillez régler ce gros problème Monsieur Vince.

Having had 25 years experience in the fitness world, this gym offers everything you may need from great management and customer service , Bruno the manager , took care of me from day making me feel right at home. Expérience fantastique: C’est, selon moi, le meilleur gym à Montréal — et en plus, l’un des moins connus. Franchement, je suis surpris que si peu de gens le connaissent. Peu importe le jour ou l’heure à laquelle je m’y entraîne, je n’ai presque jamais à attendre pour une machine. L’endroit est tellement spacieux qu’on a souvent l’impression qu’il est vide. Pour vous donner une idée, l’abonnement annuel (tout inclus) est seulement 260 $ (mars 2025). Le gym comprend deux grandes salles : l’une est principalement dédiée aux exercices de jambes, et l’autre — la plus grande — regroupe une impressionnante variété de machines, certaines assez rares, surtout dans les Éconofitness. La majorité des poids sont en métal, façon old school, un peu comme à l’époque d’Arnold. Mais il y a aussi des équipements plus modernes, donc vraiment un bon mélange. En plus, il y a un sauna, un barbershop, des services de massothérapie, du coaching privé, des cours de groupe, et même une salle de crossfit. Honnêtement, c’est de loin le gym le plus sous-estimé à Montréal.

Expérience positive: Good sized gym, a lot of equipment. Dont notice it being too busy on off times. Has a sauna and out of service steam room dont think itll ever be fixed though. There is parking which is great, but overall the place looks dim and a bit run down. Pro Gym is 5 minutes away and is much larger and quite a bit more modern for about the same price.

Expérience négative: Très amusant de voir toutes les fausses reviews des amis, après avoir écrit la vérité.... Les toilettes sont sales, manque toujours du papier de toilette. Les douches ont de la moisissure. Le staff le matin laisse a désirer, pas de sourire, pas de bonjour. Pas amical du tout, y sont là forcément. J'ai pris un shake récemment et Bruno a même pas lavez le blender! Toutes les microbes qui doivent ce passer là dedans dégueulasse!! Extrême manque de propreté partout.

Expérience positive: I've visited the gym in the past as a guest, and I enjoyed the one week trial period. The location, space, service, and staff are all great, I am excited to consider being a member there in the future.

Expérience négative: Seriously I don’t know why people are saying good comments about this place . Management don’t care about their customers, they care only about you paying them, that’s it !! Wake up people , the place has not gotten a face lift at all , and to make it worse the SAUNA is always not working , the steam room has not even been cleaned, the shower’s are discussing there’s mold all over , the spas has not been open either for the last couple of years , and when you talk to management they always tell you the same story and lies , the equipment is always broken and sometimes they don’t even repair it for weeks , I will report this to BBB and a inspection, to go and check out the washrooms , I’ll send them pics as well

The owner is also extremely kind and if you have any issues the staff will assist you. So much equipment as well, including a heavy bag. Very spacious and more importantly, the space is utilized in an efficient manner. You likely won't find anything better for the price

Expérience négative: Suite à mon commentaire du Dimanche 30 Avril 2023,je présente mes excuses à la direction du gym united le problème c’était plus informatique juste j’étais surpris pour l augmentation de mon abonnement cette année explication que j’ai eu que l’année passé c’était une exception il fallait me dire à mon inscription que j’aurais une augmentation au renouvellement de mon abonnement c’est j’étais averti j’aurais jamais m’inscrire au gym united.

Expérience fantastique: Best gym in the city. Tons of GREAT equipment, lots of space, parking, amazing price, friendly staff and old school gym atmosphere that is hard to find these days. You would think that I either work for the gym or have been paid to write this but that is not the case. I have been to tons of gyms and United is hard to beat. It may seem a bit out of the way in the east but once I am on the 40 it actually only takes me a couple of minutes more to get there than my old gym which was 2 and a half kilometers from my house. Forget about the "economy" and big box chains with horrible equipment and a terrible gym culture where people hog machines and put more effort into taking instagram pictures of themselves. If you want a real gym with equipment that actually targets the muscles it is intended to, then definetely check out United.

Expérience fantastique: Great gym, all of equipment needed, nice and durable treadmills , friendly staff , not too crowded most of the time.

Expérience positive: Very spacious, lots of machines and many training classes as well. The staffs is nice. The only issue is the sauna, people wear full training clothes and training shoes inside the sauna after working out, few people even change their dirty socks inside the sauna!! The sauna glass door should be changed to wood door for better heating. *reply: sounds good with the memo but I haven’t seen it yet.

Expérience positive: I enjoyed the work out atmosphere, it felt like I was working out in a 70s or 80s movie. Wide verity of cable attachments and a lot of space. If your visiting the area for a little while the gym rates are reasonable for weekly passes or monthly passes. I would recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area.

Expérience négative: Never going there again Vince Cerone the owner cheated 45 days of my membership,saying that the government only paid them 75% of COVID 19 relief benefit .He was very rude and impolite on top of that.Apparently Vince Cerone had issues with other gym members too.I contacted the opc and by law they are not allowed cutting off months from gym members. I didn't make a fuss about it and going to court for only 30$ and waste my time. So I took my business elsewhere. It's very sad for the management that they are losing their clients because of their greediness.

Expérience négative: How cheap can they be towards their customers? I paid my hard earned money for this membership and they cut it short by 4 months! With the excuse that the hand sanitizer and plexi glass costs them money for Covid! Never coming back.

Expérience fantastique: If you live close to this gym you are in luck and I am officially jealous! I went to the gym for 3 months before I had to move away. Very spacious and it has everything you need and you can think of. Rarely crowded and well ventilated. The gym is open 24 hours and there is a good size parking lot. I never had an issue with parking. They have a women only mini gym that is well equipped. Big locker room, bring your own lock. There are clean showers and a Sauna! They also have group classes that you can join, most of them are free but there are few that you need to pay a little extra to attend. The front desk staff are just a bless! Very friendly, understanding and accommodating. shout out to Angela :) All and all, a great gym. Definitely recommend it.

Plusieurs machines pour tout les types d'entraînement. Vince, le propriétaire est toujours présent il donne son meilleur pour satisfaire sa clientèle après tout ses années.
