Expérience négative: I just called Econofitness right now, a few minutes ago, regarding my membership and had a very disappointing experience. The first time I called, the employee picked up the phone and immediately hung up. When I called back, I asked if they could access my profile without me physically scanning my card, but my question was completely disregarded. Instead of answering, the employee asked why I was calling at all. I then tried to clarify that my membership was close to expiring and I wanted to confirm whether I still had a price freeze on it, since I couldn’t remember if I added it during my last renewal. Without asking for my name or membership details, the employee instantly replied “yes”, which makes no sense, because she had no way of actually checking my account. It felt like she just wanted to get me off the phone. Throughout the entire call, her tone was irritated and dismissive, with no enthusiasm or willingness to help. Overall, the customer service was unprofessional and left me frustrated and unsure if my questions were even answered properly.

Expérience positive: Très agréable ! Malheureusement, le manque d'espace et de machines, limite mon entraînement. Si vous voulez commencer ou reprendre le sport c'est tout à fait bien pour vous. Pour les habitué aux salles je ne la conseillerais pas... Cela dit les 4 sièges de massages sont plutôt cool, après une séance !

Expérience fantastique: J’adore cet endroit, il est toujours très propre et bien organisé. En dehors des cours de groupe, j’ai la possibilité d’utiliser le grand gymnase, de mettre la télévision et de choisir le programme que je veux pour m’améliorer à mon rythme. Quand je participe aux cours, c’est aussi une belle expérience motivante et dynamique.

Expérience positive: Il serait vraiment apprécié que les heures d’ouverture soient prolongées en soirée et les fins de semaine. Fermer à 21h en semaine et 17h le week-end, c’est trop tôt — surtout quand on termine le travail vers 20h, c’est impossible de s’y rendre à temps. Dimanche dernier, les lumières clignotaient dès 16h40, et à 16h50, tout était déjà éteint, même dans le vestiaire. Plusieurs ont dû se changer dans le noir… Si on est au vestiaire, c’est qu’on part — laissez au moins la lumière allumée là jusqu’à notre départ. C’était assez désagréable, surtout qu’il n’était même pas encore 17h! Il serait pertinent d’ajouter une 2e machine qui travaille le dos (celle où on s’assoit, leve les bras et tire le pour vers le bas), et une 2e machine qui travaille les abducteurs car ces deux là sont toujouuuurs occupés. Cela dit, j’apprécie beaucoup le concept du gym 100 % féminin, et les coachs des cours en groupe sont excellentes — rien à redire là-dessus. Merci

Expérience positive: Been going to this gym for years, fine for the most part it’s at least somewhat clean however the employees are never to be seen at the front desk which is annoying.

Expérience négative: So upset to this gym just because of one employee with poor customer service (Black Lady) and trying to flip the situation when I got upset. Imagine walked to the gym for 20 minutes, punched in my membership card, and it wouldn’t let me in because the payment didn’t go through. The Black lady at the front desk told me that, in addition to my monthly subscription, I owed $33 from back in 2023. I was surprised that I had owed $33 for two years and it only came up just now. I told her, that it didn’t only happened once that my payment didn’t go through and everytime that happens, I need to give my credit card to update my payment. NO SINGLE EMPLOYEES MENTIONED TO ME ABOUT THAT 33$ until her. She even said “that’s why I’m telling it now”. She CLEARLY SAID that I need to pay the 33$ and 54$ for monthly subscription or ELSE SHE CAN’T let me use the GYM AND THERE’s nothing SHE CAN DO. WHO will immediately pay the $33 that is OWED BACK 2023. When It’s a negligence of employees for failing to remind the customer or check in their end. Every-time that I’m in the front desk with one employees. NO ONE EVER MENTIONED THE 33$. and take note I’ve been a member of that gym since 2018 Every time there was a problem with my membership card and they need to check on their system like membership renewal, etc., the $33 was never mentioned. I told her that I was willing to pay $54 so I wouldn't waste my time going there and could work out. But she refused and wouldn’t let me use the gym or join the class, she really wants me to pay the full $87. So, I asked to speak with a manager. She said there was no manager on the floor and that even the manager couldn’t do anything. She didn’t even bother to call a manager who might have been able to help. She completely refused to offer me a solution, not even offered an apologize, until my friend came and tried to talk to her and explain the situation more clearly & could at-least do something. The point that I’ve been trying to explain to her, why would I let myself go into debt, if one of their employees told me I owe 33$, then it should’ve been paid before. Her reason again “that’s why she’s telling it now’ and it wasn’t her back then , and she even said they wouldn’t waste time checking the record if there were other customers waiting in line . That’s when I got hysterical and called her useless because of her constant excuses. Imagine having a discussion with her for 15 minutes she never once provided a solution, or apologize. In the end, I was the one who suggested that she could just let me work out for now until I could speak with the manager. Only then did she say she was willing to do that, even though she had refused to let me use the gym three times before. When I became really upset, she tried to flip the situation by saying she felt threatened coz I told her she’s useless and when I asked for her name, she refused to tell me. (Your surveillance camera is my witness, one of your employee and my friend). I have been a member of your gym since 2018 and have consistently paid for additional services such as massage and showers, even though I have never used them. I understand the responsibilities that come with my membership there were times I lost my card and paid the $10 replacement fee without complaint, I have been properly following your rules/policies. At this time, I am not asking for SPECIAL TREATMENT, but simply requesting fair consideration and appropriate treatment regarding my current situation. I would appreciate it if a temporary solution could be provided until the matter is resolved. I’ve worked in customer service for five years, and I understand that there are limitations to what customer service representatives can do, That black lady's approach lacks customer service and politeness. She even put my ID down without informing me, she even act as if she’s a victim in the situation.

Expérience positive: C’est une bonne salle de sport, l’ambiance est bonne, mais il manque des machines de musculation. Ce n’est pas parce que nous sommes des femmes que nous faisons seulement du cardio.

Expérience positive: J’aime beaucoup le éconofitness Féminin ! Le gym est propre et bien entretenu. C’est un endroit assez populaire, ce qui entraîne plus d’achalandage aux heures de pointe. Mon seul petit bémol concerne la qualité et la disponibilité de certaines machines. Par exemple, il n'y a qu'une seule Smith machine, qui est pourtant très sollicitée, surtout par les femmes, et comme nous sommes dans un gym exclusivement féminin, ce serait encore plus pertinent d’en avoir une deuxième. Aussi, pour la machine de Hip Adduction, elle n’est vraiment pas de bonne qualité et ne permet pas un mouvement complet, ce qui limite l’entraînement. Encore une fois, c’est une machine tres sollicité par les femmes donc ça serait apprécié d’avoir une machine plus performante, comme celle dans les autres éconofitness. Merci pour cet espace, et j’ai hâte de voir les améliorations possibles !

Expérience négative: Je ne comprends pas pourquoi le gym n’est pas 24/24 comme tous les gym le week-end il ferme a 5 c’est pas un magasin l c’est une salle de sport si on travaille toute la semaine et on veut aller a la salle le week-end on peut pas Le personnel deja il a rien à faire donc je ne comprend pas pourquoi payer les tarifs comme les autres gym mais accès a des heures limité franchement si c’est comme ca fait nous des rabais vu que les heures sont limités - matériaux manquants- des voleuses dans le gym faite attention a vos choses puis l’odeur est intense .

Expérience négative: Awful customer service I went to renew my membership and was told that it's active and have 300 $ to pay .... I never renewed my membership nor responded to any emails or calls asking to renew it! However she told me that I can't enter the gym anymore as long as I don't pay off even if they can c that I never used or entered the gym after that "renewal"...... Bad service wanting me to pay for something I never even knew I had.... I was ready to settle on a cancellation fee but the "system" wouldn't allow. Nobody to talk to or deal with there... The only way for me now to return to the gym is through paying a 300 $ fee for literally nothing. They r losing out I'll tell all my friends nit to start up with them

Personne n apporte de serviettes, c est la base de l hygiene !!! Le personnel en place devrait circuler dans le gym afin de faire respecter ses règles de base au lieu de bavarder au comptoir …..ça ne vaut pas le coup !!! Heureusement qu il y a d autres endroits plus attrayant !

Expérience fantastique: My fav spot!!! Zumba classes are the best

Expérience négative: Dans cette salle de sport, il n'y a pas d'ordre, les gens passent beaucoup de temps sur les machines avec leurs téléphones. et les responsables disent que c'est normal, on paye pour venir s'entraîner et avoir un temps considérable. La personne qui occupait la machine, pour me causer des désagréments, a pris une heure, quand je lui ai très gentiment demandé combien de temps il lui restait pour terminer, cependant la réceptionniste a dit qu'il était normal de passer autant de temps sur la machine, c'est trop, ils devraient être empathiques et considérer que nous avons tous besoin de nous entraîner.

Expérience négative: RUDEST RECEPTIONIST EVER (I went there yesterday btw if you wanna check who was covering the shift yesterday evening/ closing shift on the 19th Of February 2025, she was working on her own)

Expérience négative: Unprofessional receptionist and manager. I had problem regarding my platinium package cancelation and extra charged fee and instead to resolve my issues branch manager start threatening over the phone and call the police so I am trying to contact with customer court lawyer for this branch management and never recommend to anyone. Very rude and unsatisfactory people in the management.

Expérience positive: C’est un bon gym mais éviter les heures d’achalandage surtout durant la semaine. Aussi la partie où on laisse nos manteaux et les bottes c’est pas pratique car c’est très petit et y’a vite plus de place. Les bottes sont déposer n’importe comment à un moment tu peux presque pas marcher pour reprendre tes affaires. Cette espace devrait être repensé pour l’hiver.

Expérience positive: Me gusta porque es solo para mujeres, siempre está limpio y está súper bien ubicado, pero nadie le dice nada a la gente que se queda mucho tiempo en una máquina viendo el celular en lugar de hacer la rutina y compartir los equipos, a veces uno se enfría esperando un turno para hacer ejercicio y la persona que está ahí solo está viendo su celular.

Expérience fantastique: Great small gym with brand new equipment, spotless and pleasant staff. Hoping this gym will become 24 hrs, current opening times are very limited

Expérience positive: C'est intéressant comme concept pour les filles. Je conseille les filles d'aller les mâtinés avant 15h, la majorité du temps après 17h jusqu'à 21h, la salle est pleine et tu dois toujours attendre pour passer d'une machine à une autre. Il me faut toujours 2heures à la salle pour faire mon circuit au lieu de 1h15. (taux d'attente est long) Aussi , il j y a pas une diversité de machines de musculation.

Expérience fantastique: One of the best gyms. It can be crowded at times due to popularity. Group classes are energetic and addictive which makes it better than the basic econofitness gyms like the one in Cote Des Neiges plaza that has the rude manager. This gym is only for ladies and I feel safer and the employees are very friendly.

Expérience fantastique: Excellent service. Always clean. Can you please open the gym at 6 a.m

Expérience négative: I registered my daughter online and went to the reception. She said they don't have hardcopy paper contract and their printer isn't working, so my daughter can't work out that day. I need to go there to sign the contract another day . They started charging the money but can't offer any service. I want to withdraw from the gym but the receptionist said I need to pay a fine. This is really ridiculous.

Expérience positive: The gym is really clean. However, the equipment is not enough. They lack a lot of accessories such as extra bars or handles. It has been a month since they mentionned the lat pulldown bar was stolen and there has been no replacement yet. Even the broken equipment are not repaired until weeks after. The staff is barely present at the reception when you need to ask something. I would like to stick to this gym but without proper equipment, I would have to switch to another gym. I hope this is taken into consideration!

Expérience négative: Le ménage est souvent fait dans ce très petit gym qui manque tout de même de matériel et est peu chaleureux! Beaucoup d'espace pour le cardio, très peu pour la musculation et les exercices au poids du corps. Ce serait apprécié d'avoir moins de vélos, stepper, etc. et plus d'espaces libres, avec des barres, anneaux, échelles, etc. Il manque aussi des ballons : lourds et d'exercice, des kettlebells, des cordes. Bref le matériel est très...de base! Les machines sont souvent brisées et c'est très long à les réparer. Ou alors il manque un mousqueton. Ce qui fait qu'une machine ne peut être utilisée que d'un côté. Et cela à pris trois semaines pour remettre un nouveau et simple mousqueton! Les heures d'ouverture sont aussi contraignantes et très limitées : fermé les jours de congés, ferme très tôt le dimanche, ouvre tard, n'est pas ouvert 24h. Cela fait en sorte que si vous décidez d'y aller aux heures de pointe ce sera terrible, surtout durant les sessions universitaires avec le retour des étudiants. Et même en dehors des heures de pointe, comme il manque de matériel et de machines, il y aura du temps d'attente pour obtenir l'accès à une machine ou du matériel. Prévoyez des plans, A, B, C, D, etc... pour vos exercices! Mais si vous aimez les cours de groupe, avec de la grosse musique forte et un gros écran, alors vous serez servi! Deux étoiles seulement pour ce petit gym en manque d'amour d'une grande chaine!

Expérience positive: J'aime bien qu'il soit que pour filles. Mais j'aime pas qu'on joue de la musique à fond, la majorité des clientes ont des écouteurs donc vraiment pas besoin de blaster la musique comme ça. Et deuxième point ça dit c'est ouvert le jour férié mais quand je me suis rendue c'est fermé. Sinon c'est propre et y a tout type de matériel.

Expérience négative: Une expérience très très désagréable de la réceptionniste. Elle me voit arrivé, elle reste sur son portable. Aucune Bonjour, aucunr sourire que de l’attitude. J’avais besoin de demander une question, elle me dit oui quoi. En plus, c’est une des rares gym juste pour les femmes. Je m’attendais pas à ca. Jamais j’ai envie de retourner là. Je préfére d’allee dans un gym mixte malgré que je serais plus comfortable où ya seulement des filles. Je vois pas comment ces types des personnes se font engager dans un endroit où la service à la clientele est pertinente.

Expérience négative: The vibes are so dead here. The equipment is old and the choice of weights is very limited. Doesn’t feel motivating…the lights, the floor.

Expérience fantastique: J'y vais pour les cours de groupe, spécifiquement pour le body pump. Je recommande à tous, j'adore!

Expérience négative: C'est très propre mais le samedi ils ouvrent tard ils ne distribuent pas les horaires et les filles mettent beaucoup de temps à utiliser une seule machine car au lieu de faire de l'exercice elles vont consulter leurs réseaux sociaux elles devraient mettre un peu plus d'ordre dans cet endroit. Les gens qui se lèvent tôt attendent jusqu’à 30 minutes pour entrer !

Expérience positive: The atmosphere is good, but it doesn't have as many machines as the mixed Econofitness

Expérience négative: Great gym but the staff is consistently late for opening which is absolutely disrespectful. We have our daily routine and showing up to a closed gym is screwing up our whole day.

Expérience négative: Receptionist and manager won't help if your things get stolen and will instead share your private information over the phone with one another... Leaky roof, always stinky, broken machines, let people film, no parking and staff never at front desk. Overpriced.

Expérience positive: I love the idea of a women only gym, but I am really bummed with the weights, there’s maybe 15-16 plates of 45lbs for the whole gym, the dumbbells only go up to 50lbs each (and there’s only a pair or two if you want dumbbells over 25lbs). I love this place, but I feel limited in the gains I can get, so will probably have to go to another gym soon… like other people said, there is only one machine for most exercise (leg press, hip adduction, bench press, lat pull-down…). But, employees are nice and the gym is usually clean.

Expérience négative: Wow! you guys closed the parc ex all women gym and sent everyone to this one way to go. At least there the girls were friendly and actually came on time. This is ridiculous this company can care less about their customers.

Expérience négative: This place is not well maintained especially the locker room. I tend to utilize other machines such as the single stack multi-hip and do my kick back instead since you have to wait on other people hogging the machines just surfing through their phones for over 20 minutes and the people at the front desk does nothing about it. Machines that are unavailable would stay unavailable for a LONG time without being fixed. What a mess! I was never spoken to rudely but I am always witnessing staff and manager being rude frequently. This is unfortunately not the best econofitness gyms to attend, it forced me to go to a public gym with men and woman.

Expérience positive: Overall, I like this gym, but I am not completely satisfied because the staff does not open the gym at the right time. I was there today until 7:00 am (the gym is supposed to be open at 6:30 am) and there was a line of women waiting to get in and the staff never showed up... That's really disrespectful. If you don't have the staff to open on time, you should change the way users can enter the gym...

Expérience négative: Worst issues: The gym already has one machine for many exercises like one leg press and one hip abductor. Yet, they never fix a broken machine until it's about to celebrate its anniversary. The hip abductor is right now as of the time of writing this, broken and has been for nearly 4 months. They just stick a piece of paper to it and forget about it. That means the entire gym no longer has a single machine for that exercise.A couple of treadmills have been out of service for nearly as long. I have been at this gym for over a year and I have never seen all the machines working at once. There are always issues. Bad but somewhat tolerable issues: The gym isn't clean and at times I get there in the morning and I find last night's weights and bars lying around. This location closes at 21:¸00h, they should take 10 minutes to clean around for next day. Speaking of cleaning, occasionally, when they do some "cleaning", they bother the people using the mats, treadmills etc by going back to back to them. It's uncomfortable

WORST employees they never open the gym on time. 20 women this morning waiting outside in below zero for an hour and nobody is here yet. 20 people from different parts of the city were able to make it at opening time but the employees who are PAID to be on time can’t even manage that? I’m tempted to hand in my application so they have at least one person who knows how to read a damn clock and come into work. Whoever the manager is should be so embarrassed. Not to mention all the staff, except one girl, have the worst attitude and are hiding in the corner behind the desk on their phone.

Expérience négative: The staff is constantly late. Today is -10° and the clients are left outside to wait and freeze for over an hour. Totally disrespectful and harmful. It’s been at least 5-6 times that I’ve arrived around 6:45-7am during winter and had to wait outside. If your staff isn’t responsible to open on time then it’s time to let go and hire new staff.

Expérience négative: Well this is the second time I'm reviewing the Gym... it's insane how the receptionists are rude and impolite they shout and yell at customers and there seems no management there... one of them she came at 8:50 pm to say something in French when I said to her in English pls. she shouted at me and said I don't speak English when she does. she spoke English with me before. the second one turned off the light 10 min before closing.. and I couldn't see when I asked her to turn on the lights she said no I can't. seriously Econofitness how come you haired such staff to represents you, look to the other comments and take an action. when I've asked the receptionist about her name she hide her name tag. and called me rude after that she called her manager and started to speak to her in Spanish and just laughed. Ill go on social media about this and I want to speak to someone soon

Expérience positive: Great but there’s only one squat rack (weird for a woman’s gym) and the dumbell weights are not heavy enough, they don’t go past 50lbs

Expérience négative: I used to like this gym a lot. But it's been a few weeks since the staff is constantly late in the morning, usually arriving after 6:30 a.m. And if they do arrive before opening time, they won't let the people in to at least warm up. They just let people outside to freeze. I understand having a second pair of shoes is the gym's policy, but even if people do, the staff is pretty much harassing clients to change their shoes right before setting foot in the gym. Even on days when it's not rainy or snowy. You can't keep clients if you're policing them all the time, and on top, providing the service poorly by arriving late. EDIT: I had to edit this review because this place is getting worse! Today (December 14th, 2023) I waited from 6:30 a.m to 7:00 a.m, and the gym never opened! This is disrespectful to the clients. Everyone has their own routine to which they allocate some time to go to the gym early in the morning. Not meeting the opening duties screws people's daily routine.

Expérience négative: La salle ne répond pas à ses obligations d'ouverture à 6h30, je poste ce commentaire car c'est 6e fois que ceci arrive. C'est un manque de professionnalisme et de sérieux vis as vis des abonnés. Si l'équipe n'est pas capable d'assumer un horaire si matinale modifié vos heures d'ouverture.

Expérience négative: Je vois pas pourquoi la majorité des filles occupent des machines faisant du chat avec leurs telephones, rien d'autre et restant plus qu'une heure alors qu'ils y a d'autres en attente de leur tour, il faut mettre fin à ces comportements irrespectueux pour des gens qui n'ont aucun niveau de savoir vivre. De plus, la majorité des tapis roulant ne fonctionnent pas bien.

Expérience positive: Je trouve ce econofitness vraiment top, ça fait une différence d'être uniquement entre "au féminin". Seul petit bémol le nombre de parking limité (encore plus en hiver avec la neige) mais on peut trouver des alternatives

Expérience négative: Ne respecte pas les horaires d’ouverture. Dit 6h30 sur l’entrée mais arrivée la ba j’ai du attendre jusqu’à 7h personne n’était encore arrivée. C’est inadmissible.

Expérience négative: Le dimanche 17 avril jour de Pâques, il y a une fiche sur la porte qui indique que le gym sera ouvert ! Il est 8:20 et le gym est encore fermé. À 8:45 une demoiselle insére ses clefs dans la porte sans dire aux dizaines de personnes devant qui attendent depuis un moment “ni bonjour, ni rien” puis entre comme si de rien était.Je lui fais remarquer qu’il n’est pas 8:00. Elle me dit oui elle avait remarqué et que c’est pas de sa faute. Donc je lui dit en effet mais elle pourrait quand même s’excuser pour ses collègues et elle me répond sèchement “ euh non et tu devrais plutôt me remercier d’ouvrir”. Ce même jour je lui demande s’il y’avait d’autre toilette, car les 2 toilettes du gym sont indisponibles ! Elle me dit non c’est écrit partout et puis moi je suis là pendant 9h et je peux pas pas aller aux toilettes. Donc vous devriez apprendre à cette demoiselle le service client. Merci.

Expérience fantastique: Le staff est super gentil et l’ambiance vraiment agréable:) Par contre c’est un peu petit pour la quantité de gens à l’heure de pointes (genre des files se créent), mais ça, c’est pas de leur faute!

Expérience fantastique: Les filles à la réception sont très gentilles. Mais il faut plus de restriction aux non abonnées à extra, ça dérange vraiment les cours du groupes, car celles qui payent extra, ne trouvent même pas la place pour faire leur cours.

Expérience positive: Très peu de machines de musculation et une section de poids libres plutôt petite. J’imagine que c’est bien pour les cours avec l’abonnement Extra, mais pour la musculation c’est limité.

Expérience négative: The worst gym in the country! staff are beyond rude, unwelcoming, and have no class. I would never recommend this gym to anyone. Cancel your memberships, and run far away from this unkind, unhelpful place! All the staff need far more customer service training, understanding of their clients, and overall a better attitude. The manager is rude also

Expérience négative: Tuesday 4 pm, rudest receptionist, I'm new in the city and personally I'm an anxious person so I paid online to avoid having to speak to someone front desk PRECISELY BECAUSE OF THIS. She did not offer any type of orientation and said she had no system and simply sent me back. There was another lady asking for help too and she responded a little rude kind of assuming we all have gym experience. I now regret paying my membership in that location.

Expérience négative: I've been going to this gym since it was Energie Cardio, and every year , every month and every week it gets worse. From the personnel who does not go around warning people of improper use of equipment, thus resulting in equipment failure (the assisted chin/dip is an example), to the overpopulation due to the scarce opening hours. I could go on. And please fix your toilets so we can actually use this gym.

Expérience négative: Cramped, so many broken machines, ripped vinyl on so much padding. They signed up as many people as they possibly could. I waited TWENTY FIVE MINUTES FOR A BENCH at 9:30 PM, there were three people ahead of me waiting. I gave up, membership cancelled. Don’t waste your time unless you plan on doing reps of staring at your phone waiting. Staff was friendly though. I will give them that.

Expérience négative: Le service à la clientèle est horrible , j’ai posé une question à l’agente de réception et il a répondu d’une façon très froide et impolis , puis il n’avise pas lorsque un homme arrive pour l’entretien il met une feuille dans un coin qui n’est pas accessible pour tout le monde , franchement je suis déçu de cette salle

Expérience positive: Bon gym et propre, mais les filles de l'accueil sont souvent en retard le matin. Cela fait plusieurs fois que j'arrive à l'heure d'ouverture et c'est fermé.

Expérience positive: La gym est super pour y faire son entraînement! J’aurais juste aimé que les heures d’ouvertures en week end soient plus tard que 17h. Mais sinon tout est niquel!

Expérience négative: Très mauvaise expérience à la réouverture des salles le 14 février La réceptionniste renvoie les clientes chez elles sous un -16 degrés parce que la salle de sport est “complète” alors que techniquement on peut attendre qu’une cliente sorte pour rentrer tout en respectant la jauge des 50% de capacité maximale Elles étaient clairement juste débordées par la situation et ont commencé à renvoyer les clientes chez elles.. des clientes qui payent un abonnement.
