Expérience négative: I will never recommend to anyone. If yiu guys want to waste your 500 dollar after cancellation uou guys can join the gym. You have to handle byitself no gold gym agent will help you at all. When you will try to cancel.

Expérience négative: They know all the tricks to take money out of your pocket . Even after one year contract they still charging my credit card and renewed without my knowledge.

Expérience négative: This gym use to be my favourite gym to go to! However, in the last few months it’s gone completely downhill. The only thing that works is the coffee machine. The showers / sauna / steam room are not taken care of…out of the 8 showers, 1 has a working faucet, the rest are taped off or broken in some way! The sauna has been out of order for the last 3-4 months. Overall the showers and changing rooms are not well maintained, which is unhygienic and defeats the purpose of having them. For the price you’re paying it is not worth it! You might as well go elsewhere!

Expérience négative: Caution: Billing Issues with ABC Fitness Solutions Be aware that this gym uses ABC Fitness Solutions for payments, and their billing practices are concerning. If you sign up for a 2-year membership, ensure you disable auto-renewal in advance, or you may be charged unexpected fees after your term ends. I also experienced duplicate charges, and resolving payment issues is extremely difficult. The gym staff cannot assist — all issues must go through ABC Fitness, whose support is hard to reach and unresponsive.

Expérience négative: Extremely disappointed with the customer service at Gold’s Gym Country Hills. I reported a lost gym bag with some important stuff to the front desk weeks ago and was told the issue would be taken care of. I also emailed their support and never got a reply like they don't really care. Unprofessional and irresponsible – they show no willingness to assist members.

Expérience négative: I was a Platinum member and even referred three others to this gym. Since March 2025, the pool — a key feature — was removed without notice or compensation. Their only response was to offer a downgrade or cancellation with no refund. Extremely poor service and no accountability. Loyal members deserve better. The only thing they care are new sign ups !

Expérience négative: Ive visited twice. Both times the air is stale, a bad odour. The HVAC system needs to circulate more air. Machines are often dirty. Changerooms are not that clean.

Expérience négative: I just joined and I like this gym but there are a few things that need to be fixed. This includes hygiene and VIP Access. Also, as a platinum member, there should be a better way to monitor access to certain areas. Main doors are always unlocked for pool and VIP access so anyone comes in and it gets crowded. The pool was dirty but Staff is friendly.

Expérience négative: too crammed and half of the machines are broken or in the process of. As a golds gym, it seems below the standard of a prestigious facility. I would much rather drive 25 mins further south to avoid that location all together.

Harris was great! Loved how he was engaging with us from the moment we walked in til the moment we were done our workouts and ready to leave creating a nice welcoming environment! The women place is very small not a lot of good equipments needs more space and equipment I only gave 1 star for the 24/7 and very expensive membership

Expérience négative: DO NOT GO HERE In terrible condition. There’s rust, leaks, stains, and broken lockers, with half the machines out of order. There are very few grips or accessories available. The pool looks to have been completely removed now just a cement floor with random wooden panels. The staff are rude, often ignoring guests, brushing them off, or giving weird looks. It smells awful throughout. Benches are unstable due to loose screws, and the cable machines haven’t been lubricated in years, they’re stiff and squeak loudly when used. Save your money go anywhere else.

Expérience négative: Worst Gym of my life NORTHEAST COUNTRYHILLS, steam bath is out of service from last 3 months, it’s normally out of service for 9 months out of 1 year. Every time they order some parts may be from different planet and then they wait for those parts for months. If you do proper complaint for the issues on their maintenance APP they don’t do anything either.This first picture is the switch with no switch on to turn on steam. Negative 10 for their maintenance.

Expérience fantastique: I've been training with Allen, a personal trainer here, for about 3 years now and I've seen major improvements since I started going to the gym. He's guided me through everything and made sure I'm doing everything properly. I'm very happy with the way Allen trains and the results.

Expérience négative: One of the worst gyms I've been a member of in calgary. Equipment is old and decrepit. Cardio machines are often broken and the working ones are ancient and awful. Clientele is awful. Staff is awful. Just a trash gym.

Every session we have, he’s been able to push me every time and help me reach my goals. He’s very good at explaining things throughly, giving me a great understanding on what we are doing. I’ve lost 20lb and also gained a good amount of muscle, feeling a lot stronger and better about myself. I highly recommend anyone looking to get a trainer to reach out to Allen!
