Expérience fantastique: I have been working out for 40 years trained at a lot of gyms last one was LA Fitness in Barrie Ont. Moved here and found this gym myself and wife love it . New equipment staff are always nice and polite. The owner has spent a lot of money replacing and up grading the gym we appreciate it. Thank you for giving us a great gym.

Expérience positive: Definitely a pretty solid gym. Only negative thing in my opinion about this gym is how they removed two perfectly good bench presses and replaced them with cheap bench’s that would not be safe to use if your going for an advanced bench. Other than that this gym is great.

Expérience fantastique: This Gym is Amazing as far as equipment goes , They have dumbbells up to 140 pounds and that is awesome they also have a gymnast ring money swing set up where you do Tarzan like a monkey branch type excersise power lifting bodybuilding cross fit type workouts can be done here lots of old school and new equipment the place is big and the equipment is too notch they even have a heavy bag and aqua bag , Never busy when I go there but only been a bunch of times if I lived in Trenton this would be the gym that got me back into Rambo shape Awesome

I can't find any information on how to become a member, what the membership includes, or how to go about even purchasing one since there is no website to use.

Expérience fantastique: I've been eyeing this place since I moved to Quinte West over a year ago, and today, I finally checked it out. This is the place for me! I worked out for years at Extreme Couture MMA gym in Toronto, then a boxing club in Whitby. So, to find another club with the same feeling is refreshing. I've been to YMCA for a cpl of months, only to realize it wasn't for me for many reasons I won't list. I've been holding out for Anytime Fitness to open up in the fall, but it never opened, and there is still no concrete date. I'm welcoming myself as a new member to be at 10 Fitness! The atmosphere is incredibly unwelcoming, with rude members and a staff that seems completely disinterested in providing any assistance. The equipment is frequently broken, making it difficult to get a decent workout. And that's just the inside! The parking lot is riddled with potholes, making it a hazard just to get in the door. The hours are also terrible, especially on Fridays and weekends, limiting your workout options. But the worst part is their shady membership practices. They advertise a month-to-month membership, but good luck trying to cancel! They refuse to let you cancel over the phone and will continue to charge your account, even after you've requested cancellation. Beware – they're clearly more interested in your money than your fitness! Save yourself the trouble and join a real gym. This place is a rip-off and a waste of time.

Expérience négative: I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience. I was surprised to learn that my $45 membership fee, paid on February 14th, was applied to cover a period from December to January, during which I hadn't used the gym at all. I attempted to discuss this with the staff, explaining that I was under the impression my month-to-month membership meant I would only pay for active usage. Unfortunately, my concerns were dismissed. While I understand policies exist, I feel this was handled poorly.

As part of our standard procedures, we require members to cancel their memberships in person. This policy ensures the security of the process and prevents unauthorized cancellations. To complete the cancellation, members are asked to fill out a simple form.
Please note that payments are processed on the same day each month unless a membership is canceled. This practice is typical at most gyms. Our system will make up to three attempts to process a payment if it is initially declined. In your case, it seems the payment was declined one month, but on the third attempt, the payment was successfully processed.
If you would prefer to cancel your membership to prevent any future charges, we kindly ask that you visit the front desk to complete the cancellation form.

Expérience négative: Went in for a tour. Apparently, the place is under renovation. It needs it. The place is pretty dumpy. The men's shower is just one big room with multiple showerheads and no lights. NO LIGHTS. Pretty sure even prisons have that.

Expérience fantastique: I’ve gone to all the gyms in Quinte West , and this one is the most preferred, it’s not crazy busy when I go which I can’t say for other gyms , people seem to forget 10 fitness is a small business and the owners do there best to make everyone happy , sadly we live in a current cancel culture where no matter what you do someone complains and it’s impossible to please everyone. Other gyms also have women’s only sections and I don’t see people complaining about those gyms ✌️

Expérience négative: When I signed up for this gym I was excited to get my fitness journey back on track when I moved to Trenton. Over the last several months the facility started showing its true colours. Half the gym was taken away from members, to be relocated into a women's only sections. This wouldn't be an issue, because a women's section is a great idea, however when it takes away equipment from pay members, both male and female, it makes it hard to reach your fitness goals, especially during peak hours. There have been talks about upgrades here and upgrade there, but it seems like their only done when its convenient for management to get them done, rather than have it complete which would benefit members. I could blabber on...but this isn't an essay. If it wasn't for the other members in the gym, I would be long gone

Expérience fantastique: I have been going here for about a year and they invested a lot of money into the facilities over that time. I’m just a regular guy trying to stay fit, so there is everything I could dream of for that purpose at this gym. I enjoy going and most people seem pretty friendly.
Expérience positive: I have been a member of 10 Fitness for approximately a year & enjoy my workouts at their facility. I am impressed with the renovations & new equipment they have implemented. My only issue is regarding the televisions in place in the (new) cardio room. There are 6 tv’s (3 on treadmill/stairclimber side & 3 on the bicycle/elliptical side). On a good day, 4 of the TV’s are working, on a bad day only 2 have programs running (for example today, both sports shows were not functioning & one tv was off completely). This is a minor issue, but it needs to be addressed as it has been happening the entire time I’ve been a member.

Expérience fantastique: This is a great gym. The staff have created a positive atmosphere. And there have been several improvements made (roof repairs, new equipment, change to the layout, etc). And by the looks of it, they are not done yet. :) It is not overly busy, as it is a traditional gym (not like a YMCA, or a gym franchise). The hours are great, and the price is amazing.

Don't expect Rogue equipment, Ohio barbells or air conditioning. Some of the machines have odd resistance patterns. This feels like an old-school gym. P.S: Please note that most of the plates are hex plates. There are ~6-7 pairs of round metal plates scattered around somewhere for all your deadlift needs but no bumpers for the oly lifts.

P.S: Please note that most of the plates are hex plates. There are ~6-7 pairs of round metal plates scattered around somewhere for all your deadlift needs but no bumpers for the oly lifts.

Expérience négative: Should be called 8Fitness since you close at 8 now. They also have like 50 buckets catching water dripping from the ceiling and all the equipment is rusty or broken.

Expérience positive: it's a decent gym, friendly staff IMHO, has a very strong 80's feel to it and prices to match.

Expérience fantastique: Hey, I don't have a membership but I don't need one to give a rating of a gym. 30 years in the industry. Has all the usual stuff plus a good selection of classic machines from cybex and nautilus. TRX, classes, pool, free body training areas and even a couple of squash courts. Has it all, great student deals. Clean. Nice front desk staff.
Expérience positive: I wouldn't go anywhere else! Great price, no hidden agendas or fees, friendly and helpful. Lots of options like classes, courts and weights!
Expérience fantastique: Good gym, especially with the recent changes. My fav is the indoor turf area and the TRX.
Expérience positive: staff is great :) they have cardio, heavy weights, squash court, warm pool, and dry sana its a bit run down but that ok cause its the only gym that I've gone to were staff is awesome and theres so much to do including classes that you can usually just drop in for have run into some disrespectful individuals working out while there degrading women as objects they want but thats not gyms fault its today's society

Expérience fantastique: Great people. Angela is our personal trainer; she is amazing. My girlfriend takes the classes and loves them. It's very inexpensive and they have an indoor pool. The equipment is in great shape.
