Expérience négative: I’m absolutely outraged by my experience with anchor CrossFit . My son has Torticollis /wry neck aswell as being colic and it was reccomended by a few people on Georgina island to bring him to anchor fitness for an adjustment … they called my house phone back after finding an appointment slot for the following week with dr.Chelsea as I told them it’s pretty urgent. I came across the lake with a screaming colic infant by ferry boat hoping to find him some relief for the poor little guy for no reason because the appointment was not actually booked in the computer on anchors end …. Even though they called my house phone to book said appointment ‍♀️ at this point I had already been driving around with him for 3 hours trying to keep him Calm and still needed to catch a boat home to the island .. the receptionist acted like she had no idea what was going on , called her manager , manager called her back , nothing was said to us … I sat in the front hall for 15 minutes before my son started crying and wich point, me And my partner decided this was a nightmare experience and we needed to get our baby home to soothe him . Not so much as an apology o. They’re end .. nothing was said and so we left without being seen and no follow up phone call was made. As a bussiness owner myself I’m just confused how they think this type of customer service is acceptable.

Expérience fantastique: Anchor is the one place I trust a hundred percent. Their staff is very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to make sure you’re well taken care of. I’ve been going there for years for my Chiropractor needs. I see Dr. Chelsea McElrea and I’ve never felt more comfortable, I completely trust her! She always makes sure to answer my questions and concerns and advise me the best solutions. I also go to the gym part of Anchor and attend regularly the hit classes, that has been life changing, I love the fitness focused person I’m becoming and the trainers have been of amazing help throughout the process. Kurtis, Marcie and Emily are awesome! Also the ppl in class are very inspiring and helpful, the atmosphere is very friendly. Highly recommend Anchor!

She is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to explain what and why she is going the things that she does. She also introduced me to the Grow Co program which I will be starting in January. I will continue to see her for my Chiro needs!

Jon explained everything that he was going to do during the appointment, ensured my son was comfortable during the entire session, checking in with him frequently. It’s more or less a one stop shop, with various skilled practitioners including chiropractors, massage therapists, physiotherapists and much more. You can see more than one practitioner to fit around your schedule and requirements. Every practitioner is slightly different, so you can experience and try new things that work for you. It truly feels like they want to help and see you recover, not just crack your back and go. They make the most of their facilities and incorporate the gym into physio therapy and chiropractic rehabilitation. Eric is a fantastic massage therapist, perfectly fine not talking and make it relaxing if that’s what you prefer, if you are a talker he will massage you and talk with you as well. Very knowledgeable as well!

Expérience fantastique: Anchor has been a such a blessing. I recently suffered some neck and upper back issues and reached out last-minute about scheduling an RMT appointment. They fit me in same-day and Erick helped significantly reduce the pain I was in. I had a similar issue requiring chiropractic help a few weeks later, and Dr. Jordan fit me in last-minute on back-to-back days to help reduce some pain before attending a friends wedding later in the week. I'm very thankful to the staff at Anchor and will continue going back for the foreseeable future.

He discovered my chronic headaches I've dealt with for years were largely due to TMJ and I've seen a lot of improvement since seeing him. I also see Jon for physiotherapy and Curtis for personal training to build strength to manage are stiffness or soreness from repetitive lifting and movements that come with having a baby. Anchor has a ton of programs and some can be covered by your benefits as they are overseen by physiotherapists and chiropractors. There's a strong focus on post partum recovery here which is a nieche speciality that's hard to find at other gyms or wellness clinics, however, they cater to many other groups of people as well.

Expérience fantastique: I saw Dr. Alison and Dr. Alli both at Anchor, after the birth of my son, for chiropractic adjustments, pelvic floor physio therapy and postpartum fitness classes. I cannot speak highly enough of my experiences with this facility and the professionals who work there. With their help and guidance, I gained back confidence in my postpartum body…not to mention, my pelvic floor prolapse was improved tenfold! All of the individuals who work at this facility are professional and kind, genuinely care about the client as a whole person and go above and beyond to connect and help. At a very difficult time in my life, Dr. Ali Cain and her team met me where I was and always made me feel welcome and valued. I cannot recommend them enough.

Expérience fantastique: Huge thanks to the anchor and their team. They have become my rehab centre. For 2 years I have worked with their personal trainer, massage therapist and Chiropractor. Thanks to them after a 7+ year recovery. I am the closest I’ve been to my pre-injuries body from when I still served in the military. I’ve been able to rejoin activities I didn’t think I would be able to again. So thankful for this place highly recommend ❤️

Expérience fantastique: From the moment of my first appointment, to my entire family now going to the Anchor we have ALWAYS had a wonderful experience. Staff are excellent at their jobs, and you always feel heard and never once have I felt rushed. Dr. Alli has been amazing with my young daughter (who's 3 right now) and has played such an integral part in helping us work on some issues, I cannot say enough good things. She has been essential in my post natal care, something I thought was over after my 6 week visit, she has made me feel like a human again separate from being just a mom with a mom body and mom body problems - I could go on forever. Dr. Jordan has been essential in my husband becoming comfortable to visit a chiropractor, and has completely changed his quality of life just working with him on reducing his headaches. He's done the same for my niece and her headaches and issues with her back as well. Dr. Karlie has been wonderful as well for my daughter and I whenever we have been to see her, and has continued our care beautifully without a hiccup. The reception staff are equally amazing and so incredibly helpful with anything you need or any questions you have. I cannot say enough positive things about the Anchor and it's amazing team (as you can probably tell). My family and I look forward to the care and service at the Anchor for many, many years to come :)

Anchor is full of knowledgeable staff and it is a wonderful and safe atmosphere especially with COVID precautions, everything is sanitised and appointments are on time. Dr.Jordan is well versed in his profession and is always willing to amend his treatment based on my issues per visit. He is always happy to recommend some stretches or at home exercises to help with my posture and offset my usually “desk” posture I get while working. If you are looking around for any paramedical services, I highly recommend Anchor!

Expérience fantastique: Dr Ali was recommended to me by a family member with respect to incontinence which I found deeply shaming. Dr Ali and her staff were compassionate and my treatments were explained in a way that normalized the situation. The damage was originally caused during childbirth of my first and second babies and the treatment was about 30 years later. Dr Ali also found a pelvic floor physiotherapist for me. I drove from Waterloo Region for my treatments but it was worth it. My incontinence issues are pretty much resolved and I no longer have lower back pain. Of course, I continue to do my exercises. I am so grateful for Dr Ali and her evidence-based practice for helping resolve pelvic floor damage!

My husband and I have been a part of the Anchor gym and clinic for years. I started in the gym for fitness goals, but after having my first child, I have come to appreciate the Anchor so much more. The GROWCO program should be something every new mom should do. It is a course that helps you to heal and feel strong after pregnancy. I took the program at only a month postpartum and it was very manageable with lots of room for growth. I have taken the Spin course, Core workshop course and several other gym classes - all offer a high standard of quality. I also love my massage therapist and physio therapist here! The clinical professionals help me feel my best. This gym keeps me accountable and motivated. I can absolutely recommend the Anchor for your health care team!

It didn't take long for the pain in my hip to go away " thanks to Dr. Winberg" My husband goes to Dr Winberg too Since he is Scottish and doesn't believe chiropractic care would help the pain in his shoulders, he was leary. To his surprise for the first time, he can raise his arms above his head. He is very happy. I can personally recommend Dr Winberg to my family and friends for exceptional care.

I first became a client for chiropractic prenatal care, but now also work with a physiotherapist for pelvic floor physiotherapy, and a second chiropractor for postnatal care including a postnatal rehab program called GROWCO. My infant daughter is a chiropractic client as well. All staff have been incredibly knowledgeable, professional and kind. They have taken the time to really get to know me and my needs as well as have worked collaboratively to help me meet my goals. I am thrilled with the progress I have made since joining the Anchor community and look forward to what future progress can be made. For more information regarding my experiences with each element of Anchor please see below. I was referred to see Dr. Alli for prenatal chiropractic care and I am so glad I did! She is a specialist in prenatal care and I could tell from our first appointment that she was incredibly knowledgeable in supporting prenatal women. She made me feel comfortable and after each session my body always felt better from the aches and pains of pregnancy. She helped me understand my changing body immensely. My first appointment with Alison regarding pelvic floor physiotherapy was just before I had my daughter and I have had frequent appointments with her since my delivery. I had never heard about pelvic floor physiotherapy when I had my son, but am so thankful that I am using the opportunity with my daughter. I would highly recommend pelvic floor physio for any woman who is having or has had a baby. The exercises have made a huge difference in my recovery and will set me up for success in the future. My daughter had her first chiropractic appointment with Dr. Karlie at around 6 weeks. The check-up was so much more in depth than with our family doctor. During the appointment my daughter's mobility, reflexes and latch were all assessed and it was Dr. Karlie who told me that she has a slight preference for one side and gave me exercises and stretches to help. Dr. Karlie also lead the GROWCO class I participated in which is a rehab program for postpartum women. It is a fantastic program that provided me with foundational skills and knowledge to help me on my postpartum recovery. It is a baby friendly class and provided a nice atmosphere to be able to connect with other mothers. I cannot suggest this class enough to anyone who has had a baby.

We have referred many members of our family and friends to their team, and they also continue to see the Anchor team on a weekly basis/when needed.
