Thanks for the review. The bigger events are not all that common here so we count on spectators moving around the building since their swimmers are not in the water for extended periods of time. The host swim team was supposed to have had a live stream running in the auditorium to make it easier for people to watch comfortably. We hope you had time to explore not only our town but other parts of the facility while not spectating.

Thanks Brendon, we hope you had a chance to explore our new Kubota North Wellness Centre, Indoor Climbing wall, walking track and pools (depending in what was open when you were here).

Great to hear Bradley, daily walking is a great way to stay in shape. It's good for your mental and physical health. And did you know that we have free-for-use walking poles to take your workout to the next level. There is also a display in the cabinet by the track which speaks to the many benefits of using walking poles. Feel free to ask us to show you where they are upstairs.

So sorry your experience wasn't optimal here. We do an annual shutdown and it is posted here at the building, through a media release which goes out to anyone who is subscribed to our site and it would have been on our website as well. We have changed out website to make it easier to navigate. Unfortunately, we can't speak to where you were on the website but we will be looking at making some changes to ensure that information is easier to find. All programs and activities here are best pre-registered for. This allows us to connect with anyone pre-registered for a program or activity which ends up cancelled last minute and when looking for a program like lap swim, it would not appear when the pools are closed for maintenance. We hope you will come back and give it another try.

We hope you'll join us again this year for the Northern Pass to Conquer Cancer which has a home base of the Bracebridge Sportsplex.

Our Therapy Pool is not a hot tub and the temperature is set to allow for many options including warm water therapy classes and theraputic stretch classes which cannot be held if the temperature is too high. It is a nice feature we have to offer and we are happy you were able to enjoy it. Our indoor climbing wall is also another feature which we are happy you enjoyed.

We are sorry to hear that your experience with us wasn't a 5 star Alesxandra. COuld you please let me know when you were here (date and time) so that I can look into why there were no staff? Our Customer Service Representatives should always be at the front desk if the building is open, so I'd like to look into that. If there was a situation they were called into, that may be the reason but I can't speak to any of it without more information. Please message back withthe date and time you were here and what program you were here for. We want to make this right.

Thanks you Nick for the compliment. We are very happy to hear that you are exposing your son to water at an early age. This will set him up to be more comfortable in swim lessons which are so important for everyone but especially to children in Muskoka who are surrounded by water. Our parent and tot classes teach the parents different songs, games and techniques to get babies ready for non-parented classes. Summer registration is open now, Fall and Winter fill up fast but they will not be open until September.

You must be talking about the Wilson's Falls trail. It is possible to walk from the Bracebridge Sportsplex to the end of Douglas Drive and down the stairs to the Wilson's Falls trail. Or use the Sportsplex as your turn around spot and half way to warm up and use washrooms before heading back out.

Hello. We are sorry to hear about your experience. Pool temperatures are kept at 84F, 89F and 92F for the Lap pool, Leisure pool and Therapy pool respectively. With any water activity exposure to the air and lack of movement will cause the body to cool down. Happy to hear you enjoyed the WIBITs obstacle course and the slide. As for the price, we do still offer $2 swims for Parent & Tot times and Wednesday night swims. These are listed on the website and in the Leisure Guide (online or in print). We have many options for entrance to the facility for climbing wall, walking track, classes, swimming and more. We are sorry to hear you had a less than stellar reception from the front desk. We aim to deliver top notch customer service and share these comments with our staff and debrief. We are will continue to provide on going customer service training as well.

Take the key with you to your activity and always leave valuables at home when possible. Unfortunately, the type of lockers we installed when we built were not designed to allow people to bring their own locks. Sorry to hear you felt parking was a challenge Carole. We did have a large gymnastics meet this past weekend so I'm not sure if that was the cause of your troubles? Thank you for your review. We strive to provide excellent value. A "Day Pass" allows access to, all swims, fitness classes, walking track and weight room. Depending on what areas you are looking to use and the frequency, we have different pass options which may be better for you. Please discuss your needs with our Reception Desk, may have other options and are always looking to help.

Thank you for your comments. Our priority is excellent customer service, so your comments are good to hear. Some Parent and Tot swim times are busier and that also changes with the seasons. You may wish to go to the Women's Changeroom. It is a larger space. As for the "older kids", Parent and Tot swims are for children up to 6 years of age. If you believe there are "many older kids" at a particular time please let our Reception Desk know at the time so we can investigate and mention a reminder to staff about the age limits on those swims.
