Expérience fantastique: I just finished my six-week challenge program. My goal was to lose 10 pounds, and to my surprise I was able to lose almost 12 pounds. I wouldn't have done it without the help of these amazing coaches. Taran, who is the owner of the gym, was very nice from the beginning and was always there watching my progress and celebrating it with me. But I have to say that Samir, the coach who took me and guided me throughout my challenge, was a great support and a great professional. He always pushed me to do better. He was always attentive to all my questions and doubts. He was a great help during these 6 weeks. I didn't know about this gym, I saw it on Instagram and I honestly thank God that I found it because it changed me a lot. From the girls at the reception, the coaches and the members, among all of them, an excellent atmosphere was created. They always made me feel comfortable and from going 3 times a week I started going 5 times a week. Because it makes me very happy and it was my happy place. Now I feel full of energy and stronger. So what else can I say? I recommend this gym 100%. I will continue in this gym for a few more months.

Unlike commercial gyms, they don't have a lot of equipment, but they have enough to transform your body. It's a clean place with an amazing vibe. I will definitely come back if I move back to Bolton. Taran allowed me to check out the facility and get a workout in prior to any commitments. They really take the time to get to know you and your goals and cater to them, which makes a big difference. The gym itself is fantastic. They have all the equipment you need, no matter your fitness level or workout style. Whether you're into weightlifting, cardio, or something else, they've got you covered. It's a clean, spacious, and well-maintained facility, which makes it a great atmosphere to push yourself and get a great workout in. Overall, Athletic Performance Complex is a top-notch gym. Expérience négative: As someone who values transparency and accountability, my experience at the Athletic Performance Complex (APC) in Bolton was deeply disappointing. Here's the deal: I signed up for a 6-week program that promised personalized coaching and meal plans for a hefty $800. Taran, the owner, sold me on it, saying he'd be there every step of the way. But after I paid up, I got nothing but automated emails asking me to join classes. When I asked Taran about it, he dodged my questions and just said he would extend my membership without saying how long for. Then, when the 6 weeks were up, I got slapped with an extra $294 charge out of nowhere for a 4 week membership. No heads-up, no permission asked. And turns out, I wasn't the only one. Lots of folks got overcharged, and many are still fighting for refunds. It's obvious that the management only cares about money. Once they've got your cash, they couldn't care less about helping you out or keeping their promises. People are even having to cancel their credit cards and report this mess as fraud because the management won't answer their calls or messages. My advice? Steer clear of APC. The way they treat their members is just right. Save yourself the trouble and find a gym that actually cares about you.

Get your facts straight before you make an accusation, stupid! And deciding to reply to my complaint with an accusation instead of apologizing for what I experienced really speaks volume about you and your business.

He’s professional - very knowledgeable about kinesiology, diet, and exercise. You get results when you train with him. The best to place be - you’re not just another membership - you matter at APC. I enrolled for this 6 week challenge Then, when the 6 weeks were up, I got charged with an extra $294 charge out of nowhere for a 4 week membership which was supposed to be $100 as per Taran. He charged my card, No heads-up, no permission asked and then had to call numerous time, no response.Save yourself from this place as this should not be there in bolton. Complete waste of $ 800 plus spent on USD protein powder and affected mental and physical health. Review Answer. Big question charging clients without permission – who authorized you? - Your diet was miserable and woeful - you are taking clients cards and placing the order without permission on monthly basis that means we will be getting USD protein powder every month paying another delivery fees to your sponsors. How can you set the card for prestige fuels on monthly basis for delivery of protein powder without permission and on top of that charging miscellaneous fees. - I don’t have any allergies but the diet you are providing is not customized. For that I guess showing the lab test report is not enough for you and my health condition. – $800 cad was paid for the 6 week with the assurance of money back if you loose weight. Usd protein powder was $70 , I am clearing this to you. I wrote plus on top of that. Initially the programme was called for $ 700 and then charged $ 800 saying it tax and system rolls up there. He promised to give me cashback to loose weight and then that offer is still in his pocket. Great job Taren and you are saying we are lying. There are others too... As for extra $294 charge – it was never mentioned. Why we will pay almost $ 300 on monthly basis and let me clear that you said $ 100 on monthly basis, after the 6 week programme.,why other will also lie on your reviews, so basically you are lying on your own review answer. – Wow you are charging without permission and we are calling you and fighting for this. There is not only one person who got into this scam, in fact there are others. That means everyone is lying. That great ! yes it was a terrible experience to be part of your gym. -- you spent the time just to take money and then job done. Boom…….. You are saying your ex client to find peace - incredible job you are doing. You should also brush up ur customer engagement skills .This is not coming from anywhere it’s the fact and harsh truth of your gym.

I met Taran and after a few minutes talking to him, I felt like I was in the right place! He was pleasant and friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I have seen him engage with the clients and he has a way to make everyone feel at home. Throughout my time at AP Complex, I have had some great classes and met some amazing people! Looking forward to more great experiences and classes and losing weight!!

Expérience négative: I wish I could give this place 0 stars but apparently google doesn’t allow that. Please don’t ever in your life put money into this gym. The owner Taran is a complete and utter scam artist who is a master manipulator and doesn’t know a single thing about running a business. First, his online advertisements say 6 weeks free. That is completely false. You have to pay ~$700 for the 6 week program that he has apparently told other clients that you would get refunded or get a credit back if you reach his 20lbs guarantee, but that was never mentioned to me. Why? I have no idea. Probably because he can’t keep track of his lies. He has this ability of talking 100 miles an hour to confuse and overwhelm you, while simultaneously saying the most insulting nonsense you’ve ever heard in your life about you, all within literally 10 minutes of meeting you at your consultation!! He preys on vulnerable people who are at a point in their lives where they’re fed up and feeling extremely low about themselves and have also likely not been in a gym for a very long time, if ever! You don’t know what to expect when you’re walking into a gym for the first time, meanwhile this is literally his business so he holds all the power, and he exploits that to wring you dry of every penny. No pricing in his contracts are typed out, just left blank for him to fill in whatever he wants, which is what leads to everyone getting a different price based on what car you drive, what you tell him in that consultation about yourself, and what he perceives about your life so that he can make a snap judgement of how much money he can feasibly get out of you. And you don’t question it because this is your first time in a gym and you don’t know any better!! He also charges you without your permission?? For my last month, I signed up for just the gym space usage because I couldn’t afford another $280 for a month of classes. I signed the contract and left it on the front desk because there was no one working the front for me to personally hand it off to. It was either lost or ignored because he charged me $280 for a month of classes despite that being explicitly what I stated to his face that I didn’t want. Multiple people have had to lock their bank card because he continues and will continue to charge you past the end of your program, even when you say that you want to leave. People get charged 3 whole months after leaving the gym because Taran hasn’t deleted their card from his system and he must believe that he can get away with a sneaky $200 additional charge for a gym that they don’t even attend anymore. He only gave me a partial refund for that last month because he had people breathing down his neck threatening to cancel their memberships after he fired his best trainer out of nowhere. There is no front desk staff and his “key fob” is a complete joke. First, he sent out a mass text to the gym saying to pick up the fob at the front, however there’s no one working the desk so how are you expected to pick yours up? And then for the fob itself he only mentioned in the text that it’s purpose was to keep track of your classes so that you aren’t attending any more than the 3 class allowance per week as per your contract. So by his own admission, there’s no thought of security of his clients going into implementing the fob system, which is entirely plain based on how he set it up. You don’t tap the fob to unlock the front door, like literally any other establishment. Instead, you walk in through the perpetually unlocked front door and then scan your fob at the unmanned front desk just to say that you’re attending a class. There are two points of entry into the gym space past the front door which has absolutely no barrier of entry, so literally anyone off the street can walk in and start harassing you. That’s not what I was paying $700 for and that’s certainly not what I will ever pay for because he won’t ever see another penny from me. Don’t waste your money or your time. I hope his business fails and he goes bankrupt. Firing Nico was a mistake. Kick rocks.

The trainers work with your needs and the schedule is flexible with classes early morning and late afternoons. Ryan and Nico are fantastic coaches that have years of experience to ensure you get a good sweat in while pushing insane results. They also have shakes!!! After a good workout you can get your protein intake without having to rush home - and they honestly taste good and affordable. 10/10 a much better and healthier alternative to these traditional gyms.

I came across The AP complex on Instagram and decided that I would inquire to see if the gym would fit the criteria I was looking for. Upon going in, I met with the owner Taran -- and while I had thought all was good - it certainly wasn't. Prior to meeting him and even upon meeting him, I expressed that one of the main reasons i'd be looking to train at his gym is because I work long hours and i'd like to utilize the gym at night. (after hours). I had asked him twice about how access works after hours... and even before running my credit card to join, he confirmed that the facility utilizes a key fob system for after hours. I took his word at face value as he seemed like an honest guy + this isn't something that I thought a Gym owner would lie about? Upon joining, I had asked him again the first time I came to actually work out and he switched his words and said "the doors are left open overnight and that I should have nothing to worry about". If this was told to me upfront, i would NOT have joined. I had confronted him about this as well, and he decided to push my concern to the side. TLDR: The facility itself is decent, but the deceit from the Owner is plenty. All of this over $90? If your facility isn't setup to accommodate a safe environment at odd hours of the night, please just tell this to potential customers upfront. Don't lie about it, run their credit card just to make the sale and then switch your words up later. Terrible way to do business. It's unfortunate. Honesty & transparency goes a long way my friend -- especially in business!

Expérience fantastique: I’ve been a member of this gym for almost three months and have been doing regular strength training with Taran which has been amazing! When I first joined, I was accustomed to HiiT-style training, and after only three months of strength training with Taran I feel a lot stronger and I can already see the transformation in my body. I feel much leaner and have lost body fat and unwanted inches and gained muscle mass! In terms of the facility, it has top notch equipment and everything you need to effectively train. It is never crowded, you never have to wait for machines, there’s ample parking out front, and the protein bar shakes are awesome. I even benefit from physio, chiro and orthopaedics through this gym! Strongly recommend this place for anyone that’s serious about their training and health.
