Expérience fantastique: Three are indoor pickleball courts. Ceramic tile floor...Ceiling height is a bit low but manageable for controled lobs. No barrier in between courts which can be an issue when three courts are taken. Drop in fee: $5 for 3 hours. There is AC which is cool enough to play. Schedule can be found through the county's website...

Expérience positive: This community centre has solid viewing spaces in both rink-side areas and warm viewing spaces. Restroom facilities are plentiful and well maintained. The Aylmer Spitfires Junior plays out of this facility. Go watch a game on a Sunday afternoon. They also have a minor hockey program. It's a sound facility that is maintained extremely well.

Expérience positive: Facility is bright and clean. The one ring has seats that are really tall so your feet don't touch the ground. And it's kind of disappointing that there's no food court there.

Expérience positive: Arena was freezing. Food booth was closed. Pop machines only used card and did not take coin. The arena was clean including the washrooms and change rooms. The staff and other visitors from the area were friendly.

Expérience négative: Like thousands of ontario parents...my wife and I spend our evenings(often weekends) lugging oversized gymbags in and out of arenas. We drop our kids off and patiently wait on the side line. So this review will be just that....a review not based merely on the smoothness of the ice...or the orderliness of the dressing rooms...but based a parents experience in a cold arena, waiting in a viewing area where little to no supervision is. I personally can remember a time when waiting felt alot longer...since the arenas got free wifi...it helped alot. But there is a problem with allowing an unrestricted free wifi then combining it with over 40000sqft of non supervised building. And if your reading this you might already know that Aylmer Arena often becomes a hang out for 12-14 year olds. This is a massive liability issue. These kids are rough housing and skate boarding in the building for hours at a time. We have been sidelines to full soccer games on second floor. Other boys go in and out of girls bathroom and take pictures....of what... I dont know. Still its wrong. The last time we went a 12 year old boy named Ryan had been sending nude pictures to everyone in the building. He sent it over and over until a parent finally opened the file and saw his image. Is Ryan adding cameras to bathrooms? No one will know. That same bathroom hasn't been cleaned in 2 months or probably entered in months. I wanted to notify a worker but even after a second visit, there was noone around. Beware.

Expérience positive: Next to stinking livestock? Not exactly an appeal. Ice is too wet after cleaning. Most arenas have this down to a science. Seating is horrible. Fees are too high. No single use skater option for ice rental.

Expérience fantastique: We visited the community center for the Terri Clark concert. The was lots of room to park. The grounds were well kept. Check in went quickly and the staff were very helpful and organized. We got seats with a good view of the stage, but had problems understanding what people on stage were saying. At first I thought it was just me, but other people around us were having the same problem. Part way through the concert we went to the floor of the arena and the voice quality seemed better. It was a great night! A great concert! Love Terri Clark!

Expérience fantastique: The newest of Strathroy's 2 ice rinks - this one is a more modern skating facility with 2 full ice pads, lots of dressing rooms, comfortable cheering section, concessions stand and lots of bathrooms. Facility is always clean and the ice kept in great shape.

Expérience fantastique: East Elgin offers a shinny ice time for figure skaters 3 times a week. It is FAR from where we live but the price of the ice is worth the drive. Bring your own headphone to RCA AUX cord. We drive an electric car, it would be nice if they had a charging station.
