Expérience fantastique: I am consistently delighted to visit this gym. The staff is exceptionally kind and modest. The gym is immaculately clean and well-organized. However, it appears that late-night members have a tendency to place weights from height, which might raise concerns about potential injuries. The washrooms are always spotless, but it seems that late visits are often left in a state of disarray.

Expérience négative: I usually don't leave reviews for fitness places, but this location is not hygienic at all. Went there a few times while I was in town. The washrooms are disgusting. The shower curtain probably hasn't been changed or cleaned. Floors and showerheads are broken. The charging place doesn't work. When you walk in, there's a bad smell in the air, like they're smoking drugs in there. Big fans are running on cold days to get rid of the smell. Expérience positive: I found there was no Kleenex. When asked she did nothing. 3 cardio machines were out of order. There is an inch of dust and hair on and under all the machines. The shower head holder did not hold the shower head in place when the water was turned on- and the shower head went flying everywhere while the water was on. Then there is hand sanitizer in the shower instead of soap. And the drain is clogged with hair.

Expérience fantastique: I joined several weeks ago, and this has been a very positive experience. I like being able to drop in at any time and the staff are always welcoming. I took a training session with John and he was excellent - very thorough and professional and motivating.

Expérience négative: I signed up at this location in February of this year. I have ongoing health issues that come in waves and in April of this year I emailed them to inquire about canceling my membership as I felt it may be a long time till I could use the facility again and I would be wasting a membership. I was emailed back by the manager Trudy saying “what can I do to motivate you” after I had explained it was due to a medical condition. She then responded saying I would need to pay out the remainder of the year. After reading the contract and cancelation policy over and over I still could not find where it stated this. I left Goodlife and was not met with such an unreasonable expectation and they’re a huge corporation. After multiple emails back and forth arguing with their vague policies, I was told I would need a doctor’s note to get out of my contract. Trudy offered to pause my account which still means you pay the exact same payment biweekly. I was hoping they would take some responsibility for lack of transparency but it ended with me getting a doctor’s note from my doctor. They also charge $60 twice a year for facility maintenance which is actually mentioned before you sign up but is definitely unnecessary as you already pay $60-$90 a month. I paid more at this gym than Goodlife. I was looking for a quiet gym which it is but the price and lack of customer service is not worth it. The management at this facility badly needs better communication and policy transparency. I would recommend avoiding this gym or specifically this location as supposedly each facility makes up their own policies.

Expérience négative: It’s very convenient as in hours however not a variety of cardio machines I can literally count on fingers, also they charge 60 dollars a year for new machine or maintenance which I don’t think is fair when they can write it off as a business and they’ll state EVERY gym does that but that’s not true, GoodLife or the ymca don’t charge that ridiculous fee. Also that’s something they should state before collecting a payment $$, also if you cancel early you’ll be charged for the remainder of contract unlike GoodLife you just give 30 days notice Overall it’s good for people who do weights only but not cardio focused

Expérience négative: EDIT: They cancelled my membership when I refused to wear a face diaper. Never going back. Switched from Airdrie GoodLife because of their ridiculous 1 hour appointment and idiotic cleaning schedule every hour during Covid. Anytime is small but it's never really busy. It is a super clean gym and the equipment all works plus they are getting a handful of new equipment installed in the next couple of weeks.

Expérience négative: Be aware that the “free 7-day trial pass” that is advertised on the website actually costs $30. After considering making this my new gym with our recent move to airdrie, the shadiness right off the bat made me walk away completely.

Expérience fantastique: Gym is pretty solid. Has a good amount of equipment for your fitness needs and is a proper 24h gym so there’s really no excuses. For price and quality of equipment, it’s quite the bargain. It gets super busy at times but for people who love to workout at night or 5AM, this place is for you. Staff is always helpful especially the personal trainer. So if you’re looking to make some real progress and want a friendly gym where you don’t feel like all eyes are on you, Anytime Fitness Airdrie is a great start!

Expérience fantastique: Always nice and clean, I always see staff keeping up on the cleanliness and sanitization of equipment which is refreshing. My PT John is also awesome! He's always super understanding if I'm running a few minutes behind or need to reschedule, no matter the reason. Very accommodating overall with scheduling and even the workouts themselves. He makes me feel validated during our sessions and doesn't ever push me beyond what my body can handle (though he still pushes, of course) like you see some trainers do. He's very knowledgeable in his field and knows how to get shiz done! Trudy, the manager, is also super kind and friendly, always with a great attitude towards the clients and her staff!

Expérience négative: I do not recommend this company at all, there are a few reasons. Let's say down the road you either don't go or can't financially afford it there is no cancelation fee but rather you are responsible to pay out the remainder of that contract almost like a cell phone ( minus you actually have the phone) they don't care if you can't afford it anymore it's not a good enough reason as I was told by a customer service representative over the phone.. they almost trick you into thinking it's an awesome gym and you can cancel at any time no hidden fees blah blah blah But 1 month out of the year you pay an extra I believe it's $20 to help them with their equipment that they don't even upgrade etc, you would think paying $82 a month per person they could afford to upgrade and not need that extra $20 a person. I would steer clear of this gym If at all possible, I would go with GoodLife Fitness over this company any day at least if you want to cancel before your contract is over you have a cancelation fee and not the whole contract, the last time I called to cancel it was almost $400 if not almost $500 because I could not financially afford it anymore, I missed 1 payment due to not enough funds then tried calling to cancel given I pay my missed payment and tell them I want to cancel cuz I can no longer afford it and they tell me it isn't a good enough reason and I have to pay out the contract, so if you want to go here my best advice is pay the package for the year cuz either way if you cancel early you have to pay that anyway! If I could give this play a negative rating I would.

Expérience négative: Having a fat staff member hitting on my wife daily ended our relationship with anytime. He clearly knew she's my wife and when she worked out alone, ge became a total creep. We asked other women who felt the same way. He offered to sell me equipment, which I found very shady!! We are happy we left and my wife now feels safe. Be aware guys

At anytime Airdrie there is nothing to worry about, This place has made me feel like home than any gym I’ve been to. Amber and John have been nothing but the best welcoming me and my girlfriend every time we step in the door. They have everything you need from beginner to experienced equipment. I definitely recommend anytime Airdrie to everyone!

Expérience négative: Terrible terrible terrible business, went away to the military and never thought much of it I paid my monthly bill even though I wasn't going there obviously and the terrible reps that opened my account and made me sign the contract after literally giving me less than 5 minutes cause they were busy and were heading out left out the part where it said there was an auto renewal now I'm forced to pay nearly $350 after asking to cancel it during a PANDEMIC! Absolutely disgusted by the reps that "helped" me open an account. Stay away from this business.

Expérience fantastique: Great gym always updating and getting new equipment. Equipment always clean lots of spray bottles available. Change rooms always clean as well as overall facility. Owners are easy to communicate with and friendly. Highly recommended.

Expérience fantastique: Great staff, great pricing and always available. Anytime has always been my go-to for a gym membership. It never seemed to be overcrowded (pre-pandemic) and during pandemic they took all the required precautions. Dwayne is very approachable and always willing to offer advice on use of the equipment or about the gym or your membership. For the majority of us who just want to keep in shape and fend off the aging process a bit Anytime is the place to go!

Expérience fantastique: I have been a member of this gym for almost 2 years. Although a smaller gym the people are friendly and it is always clean. It has a great atmosphere. I also have been working with a trainer, Sonia for almost a year and she has been great. I have lost inches, built muscle, lost body fat, toned up and increased my overall fitness - especially for hockey. She is a great trainer who pushes me hard enough so I increase my abilities and get results. Just don't join any gym. Make sure you work with a trainer so you get the results you want. A big THANK YOU to Dwayne for helping me out with my membership issue. It was a pleasure to have Dwayne personally help me resolve the issue. I highly recommend Airdrie Anytime Fitness.

Expérience négative: I have had the worst customer service experience with this company. The amount of times I had tried getting into contact with them via email, phone and in person is ridiculous- and when I finally got in touch with someone over the phone, the man was so extremely rude to me I almost had to hang up the phone. I wish I had recorded the way he had talked to me, it was the worst experience I have ever had and I would go anywhere else but here. Nothing but problems!

Expérience négative: Got a 7 days trial pass from a friend. When first visited around noon, found a note that staff available between 4pm to 8pm. Visited second time at 6pm and was told that you can use the gym only between 4-8pm. If they have these conditions it should have been printed on the trail pass. Firstly, it is not a good practice to dictate a 4 hours window to a potential customer. But even if you have such stupid policy it should have been told in advance.

Expérience négative: I have a rant that I think I need to share. I'm so defeated and dissapointed with Okotoks anytime fitness. My fiance and I go together and hold the door for one another not thinking it was an issue due to the fact we are BOTH members! Which they were very aware of because the shut down both out fobs for almost a week and only reactivated them once they stole 250$ from EACH of our accounts with out any warning or call to say "hey even though you are both members you need to both swipe" all this could have been avoided with a simple email or message instead they took 500$ from us right before Christmas over something we were not even aware was an issue! Now during the most stressful time of the year, they single handedly put myself in a finacial burden due to the withdawl with out permission or concent. My sons day care is closed during the holidays which means i have to stay home from work, so over the holidays I have no income. Jeff Scott the manager lied about warning us twice to our face. And as soon as you leave a bad review on google he reports it in attempt to get it removed and then makes his friends post a bunch of fake positive reviews to cover up an honest poor review. We have attempted to contact them multiple times with a ton of empty promises and now no one will answer our phone calls or texts. They are thieves. When my fiance said we will cancel the member ship and go else where when talking to the owner Rob Rooksby he said "the 80 dollars you and your fiance bring me a month wont effect me". Its rude and arrogant and just wrong. Rob Sanderson is the reason for this. He has done this before in Cochane and came to okotoks and did it here too. He also own Airdrie as well as a couple on Edmonton. He pockets every ones monthly payments and doesnt pay any over head then skips town. He told us his name was Rob Rooksby but the form on the door says Sanderson. So we did some digging. Turns out he has done this before. This is the previous for closer notice at the anytime in Cochrane. The name on that one and the name on the one in okotoks match. Hes scum and is going through life ripping people off.

Expérience fantastique: What an amazing place to workout!!! The staff are very welcoming and always helpful, I’ve been going for 6 weeks now and absolutely love it. It’s a very clean and well maintained establishment. I’ve been working with Dwayne and he is just awesome, very helpful with anything I ask, He goes above and beyond to help and he makes sure I get a good and proper workout. For anyone thinking about trying this place out or just looking for a great place to get in a good workout I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!!

Expérience fantastique: I have been going to this Anytime Fitness location for about 3 years. Although the gym was always run properly Dwayne and Stacey Baker have really stepped it up a notch. The gym is incredibly clean, the staff are always interacting with the clients and the equipment is new and well maintained. Life got in the way for me for a bit as well as some injuries but not once did the staff keep reaching out to me offering words of encouragement and motivation. Looking forward to continued growth with the Staff and others clients at Anytime Fitness Airdrie.

Expérience fantastique: This location is very well managed and I've been to many other anytime fitness locations in BC and Alberta. The facility is very clean, the sanitizer bottles are always full, and there are always enough clean towels. The management moved some equipments around in the new year and the new set up compliments the floor plan much better. It has a better flow and has made the gym look brighter. Dwayne and John are also very friendly... you won't go wrong joining this AF location.

I'm from out of town and needed a gym for the week and anytime was the closest one around. The owner was so helpful and generous to show me the gym and help set me up even though he was on his way out the door. The gym was super clean and tidy. Had a really great workout but most of all I am still so grateful for the amazing customer service. Thank you!!

The people are friendly, the trainers are not only motivating but always there to answer any questions. Started working with Dwayne and he has been such a great motivator to help me achieve my goals. Expérience fantastique: This is by far the best and cleanest gym I’ve been to by far. Dwayne and Stacey are hands down two of the nicest people going. They will go out of there way to see how your doing or if there’s anything they can help you with. I have been to many gyms in my time as I work all over the province. I would drive out of my way to workout here and I do. I have since hired Dwayne as my personal trainer and very pleased with the outcome. You can tell he puts a lot into the programs he teaches and cares very much about his clients. If anyone is looking for a personal trainer I highly recommend him. Big thumbs up to all the staff for making this place what it is today.

Expérience négative: I received an email from this business today but I have never signed up for anything with them so found it odd that they have my email address. Well when I went to unsubscribe from their mailing list the site brought me to another gyms membership info. I did have a membership from the other gym but not even they spam me with emails. I find it very unethical to be poaching email lists from other businesses. Just cause I do business with one company doesn’t give employees the right to take my information with them to other companies.

Expérience positive: Excellent equipment and a very well run place to get fit. Had a bit of a rough time cancelling the membership. The owner contacted me after I had trouble getting my account closed continual monthly charges. After hearing the situation, he resolved it quickly.
