The instructors are great with children, the classes as fun and engaging and I feel the program is also a strong reinforcement for the children to develop discipline and self-confidence. 5 stars for sure :)

Fantastic experience: My son attended a birthday party for 4 year olds recently at Evoke. The 3 instructors leading the party were absolutely phenomenal. I've never been to a party with such enthusiastic and friendly instructors...they really made the event! The space was also so bright and clean. We had an amazing time and plan to enrol in a class soon!

Fantastic experience: I came across Evoke through a Google search. We are not in the area but can easily drive within 30 mins. I chose Evoke because of what their core principles are, the array of disciplines offered, the ease of starting at any point (my teens were both beginners) and the added benefits of what it is like to become apart of a chosen family. We chose the teen MMA and kickboxing class. My teen girls were hooked after their complimentary session! I have already seen an increase in their confidence and self-esteem. The highly skilled staff at Evoke are very approachable and make you feel right at home. I absolutely recommend this program for all teens.

Fantastic experience: We recently hosted my 7yo son's birthday party at Evoke. We were blown away by Evoke's hospitality and level of service. All of the kids that attended had a blast playing ninja group games and competing in obstacle courses. We were so impressed by the instructors' enthusiasm, patience, and professionalism. They were also so helpful with party set-up and clean-up. Highly recommend Evoke, and we will most likely be back!

Fantastic experience: I have been attending the fitness kickboxing classes for just over a month now and I’ve been really enjoying it! It is such a great dynamic workout that includes both cardiovascular and strength training. The instructors are all amazing here too! You will get a lot out of these classes!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been attending the fitness kickboxing classes here and it’s been a blast. I was looking for something challenging and these classes are exactly what I needed. They combine resistance training with cardio and plyometrics. Overall, the classes are super well rounded and I leave every class feeling worked. I highly recommend trying these classes out.

Fantastic experience: I joined Evoke MA (KB class) last summer. It was just to try since their location is too far from my home, I thought. After the KB trial classes, I started to attend once a week...then twice. Now, I show up 3 times a week. The classes are so full of energy and you mix that with fun and motivating instructors, who would not come back for more :). I would recommend the class to anyone who is looking for a good work out in a fun environment with no judgement.

Fantastic experience: I started Hapkido classes several months ago with zero expertise and my experience at Evoke has been incredible! Taking up a new skill or sport especially as an adult can be really intimidating but everyone has been incredibly kind, caring, patient, and supportive. I’ve learned so much, I’ve had so much fun, I feel a lot stronger and I constantly look forward to my Tuesday and Saturday classes. Fantastic experience: I've been a part of Evoke since their teen hapkido program, and as an adult in their fitness kickboxing program and there is truly no other place I'd rather go to. The environment & structure of classes at Evoke is challenging yet rewarding and I leave each class feeling stronger than before. One of the unique things about Evoke are the way their classes are structured to provide the members with a total body workout, eliminating the need for a traditional gym. I also love how they incorporate deep breathing sessions at the end of certain workouts for a proper cool down and to get in touch with your body and build that muscle-mind connection. I have left certain classes feeling humbled by the combos, which gives me more motivation to keep going back and getting better at the moves. Lastly, my favorite thing about the club are the instructors Miss Tess, Elona and Master Dayo who are exceptional at their jobs. They are supportive, but don't hesitate to push members to their best potential, all the while remaining kind and encouraging. As a result, Evoke has become a happy place for me that I'd recommend everybody to join, despite their fitness goals.

Fantastic experience: The place is large and very clean and welcoming. The teachers are great with kids and knowing how to keep the younger kid’s attention. It’s a great practice for my son who is 4 and a half. He gets so excited to go every time.

Multiple class offerings to suit your goals and schedule. A warm team building atmosphere and a sense of welcome will keep you inspired to show up to class. Fantastic experience: My almost 9 yo had such a great time at Evoke summer camp in August. They were good at keeping kids busy and my kid was so excited to show us new martial arts skills everyday. Drop off and pick up were also very smooth and efficient, and all staffs were professional and welcoming. We Will definitely come back next summer.

Fantastic experience: I think it’s a great place for martial arts. The instructors are great and so kind. It’s a great place for birthday parties and summer camp. In general, the place is very clean and the instructors sanitize the mats after every class. The classes are split into age groups, which I think is cool. It’s a great place to make friends. The bathrooms are clean, the mats are clean and everything is clean. It’s a great place for both adults and children to practice their martial arts.

Fantastic experience: I've been going for kickboxing fitness classes for a few months now and the experience have been amazing. Was not intimidating at all when I first joined, as the instructors have all been very nice and are able to breakdown the workouts into easily digestible steps, without compromising on the intensity. You will sweat!!! Facilities are clean and the class often comprises of people with varying fitness level. Always a great atmosphere and everyone motivates each other. If you're looking to learn kickboxing, or even try something new while getting into shape, then definitely recommend Evoke.

Fantastic experience: Training for a month already and it truly feels like my life has changed. I’ve never signed up for fitness classes and it is all I think about doing now! My body has definitely changed and very effective to achieving my goals. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, it is a wonderful community. There is no judgement, only focusing on the progression of one’s skills. Instructions are easy to follow, the coaches are wonderful. The programs are much worth trying out!!!

My kids going there learned patience, respect, social skills in addition to their martial art techniques. They gained self confidence and experienced deep friendships. Fantastic experience: This is by far one of the best kids parties we’ve ever hosted. We have celebrated both of our kids party here. It is an amazing experience for the kids. They are kept active with none stop games and make sure the birthday child is the center of the party! Can’t recommend enough.

There are other kids martial arts program offered across the city and closer to home, but what Evoke offers here is something I haven’t seen in other programs. They are compassionate and kind in their teachings but yet expect individuals to focus and give their all. Evoke has built a safe environment for mix martial artists to learn and grow and to build not only their character but their phycological and physical strength. I can’t recommend Evoke enough. Fantastic experience: Have been going here for the Muay Thai classes. The team is absolutely amazing!!! Very supportive, provide clear instructions and help for the classes, friendly and kind, and know you by name which I believe shows how much they care. The place itself is very clean, bright, and overall suitable for the classes. I do a biweekly membership and it's definitely worth it if you can go consistently, otherwise they offer class packages too. I really enjoy going here and would recommend anyone considering a place to join here!

Fantastic experience: Best birthday party here at Evoke!!!! We celebrated our daughter’s 12th birthday at Evoke and everyone really enjoyed the party! Guest comment during the party: “Wow we have never attended a martial arts birthday before. This is super fun and our children are really enjoying the activities.” It was a very well planned party with super fun activities and all of this arranged by Evoke! As parents we were really relaxed as everything was managed by Evoke staff. My daughter’s friends really enjoyed all the activities and everyone at the party was engaged throughout the 2 hours. Time management was excellent, everything was ready when we arrived. Best birthday party experience. Highly recommend!! My daughter also attends the Hapkido Kidz class at Evoke! When she first started, it was really challenging for her. But the teachers at Evoke were so encouraging and supportive that very soon she started getting comfortable in her classes. Fantastic experience: After attending the first of 2 kickboxing trial classes at Evoke, I felt so good that I decided to sign up right away! I am not a person who is motivated at a regular gym without instruction. Here, the academy and the instructors have such good, positive energy. They understand your endurance levels and tell you to put in as much effort as you can while also making sure to gently encourage you to test and push your limit each time. I saw results in just 3 classes in being able to hold my plank longer than my first class. Love that every class focuses on improving kickboxing technique and has different combos and burnouts. In my 5 weeks here my endurance, fitness levels and breathing has improved. Also happy that my sciatica that used to affect me often while walking, had completely gone away in less than 2 weeks. I should mention that they take the time to personally check in via text to see if you’re ok when you miss a class. The camaraderie is instant here amongst members and staff. :) Thanks, team, for being so wonderful!

The class was held on early May and took place in a clean and well-maintained training area. The highlight of the lesson was undoubtedly the coach. Fantastic experience: I joined Evoke almost 2 months ago and I’m really enjoying it! The teachers are attentive to each student and make you feel empowered to get through each tough workout. I have a Shotokan Karate background and have been quite out of shape so I was looking for something where I could use my passion for martial arts but also get my body back in shape and Evoke is the perfect place for that. Fantastic experience: My son enjoys attending the Little Dragon class very much. Instructors do a good job helping children to concentrate and exercise happily. The classes are fun, educational and nurture discipline. The studio is always clean and comfortable with good ventilation. I would highly recommend Evoke!!

She loves her classes and we value how much she’s being empowered. Fantastic experience: I joined Evoke in August as I was starting my journey to become healthier (both mental and physical). I have been going regularly to the kickboxing classes since then and I really enjoy it. The classes are very good workouts and I feel that I am getting stronger. Everybody is very welcoming and nice. The app make it easy to sign up for classes and they provide both gloves and hand wraps with a membership. Overall I am very happy that I joined evoke and can't wait for my next kickboxing class!

Fantastic experience: Our kids had a blast at Evoke’s Martial Arts & Kickboxing! I wasn’t sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised at how organized and attentive the staff were. It was a great experience from beginning to end. I wish they providing lunch and snacks to make it easier for us parents but they did have pizza lunch on the last day which was nice. I would highly recommend enrolling your kids in this camp! My kids will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: I have been taking kickboxing and Hapkido self defence classes for almost 2 months now and I have loved the experience so far. The teachers are amazing! They know how to push you while keeping your fitness level in mind. The kickboxing is very intense in a good way. They balance the workouts well. I feel like I’m working all my muscles over a couple of weeks if classes. Hapkido is a great experience as well. The only downside is there’s one class a week and it can be hard to remember the moves we learn. The fellow evoke members are also wonderful. Everyone is welcoming and the experienced members are generous with their time and knowledge. I feel like my body has drastically improved in this time I’ve been there. Looking forward to continuing this journey with Evoke!

Fantastic experience: I recently started the fitness kickboxing class. Originally I am not a sports type of person. However, I am loving the class and found myself looking forward to my classes after getting off work. I believe starting fitness kickboxing was one of the best decisions I made in the year 2022! It is a great class to freshen up as well as to enhance physical strength Those who are looking to try out something new regarding sports classes, this would be a perfect fit for you

Fantastic experience: I love the trainers, the staffs, and the trainees at Evoke Martial Arts. The trainers are always full of energy and encourages myself and the trainees to try our best in each class. The staffs are friendly and are there to help us with any questions we have regarding class, etc. Overall, Evoke Martial Arts holds a welcoming atmosphere where one could feel comfortable.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been attending Evoke’s kickboxing classes for a few sessions so far. I have enjoyed coming in every time. The instructors are both highly personable and knowledgeable, plus they make a great effort to make everyone feel included and challenged in the best way. I had never considered a martial art previously, and I’m very glad I chose Evoke! I’m looking forward to integrating kickboxing into my health and wellness goals which feel slowly but surely more attainable in no small part due to this excellent environment to learn in. Fantastic experience: They are the best tbh. I love Tess she immediately made you feel welcomed and part of the amazing community they have there. The thing that made me decide to keep coming here was how she would call out our names during our workout to acknowledge our hard work. It might seem like simple meaningless gesture but hearing a stranger call your name really made me feel cared for and motivated. The classes are a Blanche of kickboxing drills and skills as well as some fitness components too like core and cardio. A perfect mix imo. I love the hygiene and place too. We wipe out feet and boxing stand with wipes that are provided. The classes are available in the afternoon and on Saturdays mornings so it’s really flexible if you have a busy schedule like me. Recommend 10/10

Fantastic experience: Great workout, clean and spacious class area. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful no matter what your skill level is. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to not only get a great workout out, but also anyone looking to learn about the art of Muay Thai.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had a blast on their March Break Camp! She was excited to show us the self defense moves she learned there and her first kickboxing lesson. The Pizza Party on Friday was so much fun! She will sure be back for their Summer Camp! =)

Fantastic experience: After doing trial classes at many dojos around the city, we’ve finally found our home. We've been members for only a month now and have already made some new friends. The instructors take a personal approach and call everyone by name and get to know all the students very quickly. My son is excited to attend each class. Evoke has found the sweet spot between discipline and fun for children of all ages. Highly recommend you check it out.

Fantastic experience: I signed up our 8 year old son for a week night activity hoping only for some fun and some exercise. Evoke has been the most wonderful experience for us all. In addition to having fun while burning lots of energy, the wonderful team of instructors are also teaching (and expecting) respect, focus and teamwork. These healthy life lessons are incorporated into every conversation and teaching moment and as a parent, it is wonderful to see a group of children absorbing not only the techniques but the important messages that come with them. Thank you to the great Evoke team for all you do with our children.

Fantastic experience: I joined the kickboxing fitness class with a friend and I am so happy I did. I don't usually like HIIT training and i've never tried boxing, but I suffer from lower back pain and was told that I needed to strengthen my core. After attending these classes for a month I can definitely see a change in my stamina and core strength. Going to these classes are now part of my weekly routine. As well, the studio is very welcoming, and supportive. I never feel pressured to do more than I can and the other members are just as nice. If you are looking for a great workout, I highly recommend this place. Worth every penny!

Fantastic experience: Evoke is amazing! They are so friendly and experienced! They have enough staff to go around and correct the moves for each kid which is so helpful! My daughter has grown confidence we have never seen before! Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I recently started going to Evoke Martial Arts for kickboxing. One of the best decision I've made choosing them as my place to learn martial arts. Tess is an amazing teacher and very friendly. She knows her stuff and pay attention to each one of us as we practice. What surprised me the most is that she remembers everyone's name and make us all feel included in the family. I really enjoy my workout there, learning new moves daily. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is just starting martial arts or anyone who is looking to improve their skills or just practice what they already know.

Fantastic experience: Great place for kid to learn discipline and how to protect themselves. Teachers are lively and really enjoying what they do so my son is always excited going to the class. The place is so neat and tidy its a great place also the rates are so affordable.

They are professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and encouraging. They focus on building confidence and being responsible citizens and have created a warm and safe space for learning. Tess, Master Dayo, and their team created a uniquely warm, supportive, welcoming, and encouraging community for their students, where both instructors and students make you feel as part of a big family. The team is very knowledgeable, attentive, and motivating. After every workout I feel energized and inspired.

Fantastic experience: This place is great for kickboxing. I love how Tess (the instructor) pushes you and motivates you throughout the whole workout. Its fast paced, hard on the body and 100% worth it. You will feel you’re whole body working during the class and even couple days after. Definitely recommend.
