Fantastic experience: I worked with Ali for most of 2023 and he’s one of the most knowledgeable trainers I worked with when it comes to building strength and mobility! I learned so much about proper form and how to work with some of limitations of my body. Ali is also an amazing track coach and I loved building on the fundamentals in his group track sessions. Highly recommend Ali if you’re looking to build some muscle or improve your track performance. Thanks Ali :)

Fantastic experience: Ali is a fantastic trainer with an individualized approach. I used to not be able to squat without knee pain and would get injured every few month training with other trainers or alone. Ali was able to properly assess me, tailor my training to my goals, and teach me functional moves that have left me no longer in knee pain, squatting with ease, and even able to complete an Ironman 70.3 with his help. Thanks Ali!!

Fantastic experience: Ali is wonderful- I can't say enough good things about him. He is a fantastic personal trainer and friend. His approach to training will have you sweating buckets and making sounds you never knew you had in you, but by the end of the workout, you'll strangely be thinking, when can we do that again? He will slowly turn your dread of working out into something you actively look forward to. You even might find yourself in a sprinting club in the middle of the summer, running your heart out and loving every second of it. Ali will help you achieve your fitness goals and then some. It's completely infuriating, and I highly recommend him to anyone for any skill level. Also, you can train him once a year!

Fantastic experience: Ali is not only a personal trainer, he became a great friend whilst I was hating his existence! He is very disciplined and sometimes funny. I highly recommend training with him and his team. And you can train him once a year!

Fantastic experience: Ali is a fantastic performance and strength coach. What stands out most is the effort he puts in listening to your goals and finding a training approach that support them. No cookie cutter exercises. The focus for me was on effective strength and injury prevention and I saw benefits even after 10+ years at the national level. Could not recommend higher.

Fantastic experience: Ali from Performance 1st training is an incredible coach - he combines his knowledge and experience in strength and conditioning in a unique way that allows each of his clients to build a foundation to excel. I began working with Ali after strength training was recommended to me by a physiotherapist to help me work through some ongoing knee issues. I came to him relatively weak with substantial muscle imbalances. He took me on as a client and has worked with me twice a week for the past year and a half. In that time, I have seen drastic improvements in my overall strength, and most importantly, I have been able to get back to doing activities I love without experiencing any knee pain. I cannot say enough great things about Ali - he is kind and welcoming, tailors each workout to your individual goals and needs and is so supportive in helping you achieve your training goals. I highly recommend him to anyone, whether you are an elite athlete or new to fitness and looking to incorporate more strength and conditioning into your routine.
