Cycle N' Tone Brampton: Opinions
Fantastic experience: Great cycling experience. I can't wait until they reopen. However i have been to the Scarborough and downtown location and I have had a phenomenal experience at all three locations
Fantastic experience: Best cycling class of my life. Will definitely attend again and I will purchase a monthly membership. Music really moves you to workout harder.
Negative experience: For one the website is not user friendly. I purchased a pass and tried to apply it to a class I kept getting and error message saying I had no credit. I called, text and emailed to have it corrected as a large group of my friends wanted to try this out together... still waiting for a response
Fantastic experience: Love the music. The instructors are helpful and motivating. I always leave feeling amazing.
Fantastic experience: Great workout experience.
Fantastic experience: Best cycling studio ever. The teachers are amazing and the class are to die for!! Love love love it here. Great customer service. I hate working out but this just puts me in a different mood. I thank them every day for introducing this to our area!!!
Fantastic experience: One of the best spin classes I have ever been to! It's an insane workout, and so much fun! This is a no frills kind of location which I was a little worried about at first, but once I finished my first class, I could care less about the building, and if there was someone greeting me at the door to check-in, or nice change rooms like at other studios (and lets be honest that type of service is reflected in the price of the classes). The bikes are good quality, better than a lot of Goodlife locations. You will leave feeling amazing, and sore the next day. I have been doing traditional spin classes for years, and this is by far the best! Advice: Come with your water bottle full, a towel, and already changed.
Fantastic experience: The classes are amazing full of energy and I love how they keep the class going and push you so you don't give up! Keeping in mind they have not been open for so long and somethings take time in getting, only thing I would strongly recommend is putting up a sign so that the new members know they are the right location, but other than that the classes are Amazing!
Positive experience: I had been wanting to try Cycle n' tone for some time now. Good thing I left early because there are no signs whatsoever outside its location or in the storefront to let you know you're at the right place. (Even a homemade sign would have sufficed) to let ppl know they're at the right location, instead of driving around aimlessly. I am not sure how long this place has been open, but there is definitely not much to it at all which made it feel slightly unprofessional. When you walk in the lobby there are still no signs, no desk, no cubby or locker or shelves, changeroom to put your belongings or shoe rack to put your outside shoes.. nothing to let you know if you are in the right place. Once I walked in and asked if I was in the right place I was simply replied with a yes and nothing else. Once I walked into the back I was advised there is no other way to fill my 1.5 litre water bottle but to use the public washroom tap (gross) and that they were planning to install a vending machine for drinks, but for now I had to drive around the block to a gas station to buy water. Why is there no water fountain? I was greeted by the friendly energetic instructor Teneisha and she adjusted the bike for me knowing it was my first Cycle 'n Tone class, but not furthur instruction or explanation or expectation of the class which I found odd. I also noticed that many bikes had a few things that were not working on them. A few people had to switch bikes. The class itself had great music but her Mic did not work (happens), so I could not hear her instructions over the music which left me feeling a bit lost. I realize this was not a spinning class, but many of the "cycle dance moves" on the bike felt slightly unsafe and quite physically uncomfortable and out of my cycling comfort zone due to safety concerns (due to how I have been trained in spinning). The instructors energy was great and the class flew by and was fun. I would maybe return, but simply for the energy and great music.
