Negative experience: This gym is permanently closed. There are countless stories of business closing down due to pandemic interruptions. However, the action of the owner is rather malicious and I would consider this a scam. Many people paid for season passes or private classes in the thousands before the first shutdown. The owner stopped paying rent to the landlord the moment the first shutdown arrive. He consulted with other businesses in the plaza regarding CECRA subsidy and discovered the GYM was not eligible (because all "employees" were paid in cash and under the table). About 12 months later the landlord locked him out of the property. At the same time, the shutdown in Ontario was easing so the owner announced relocation of the gym (due to being locked out)and is now holding Private classes only in a temporary location. This move was to reassure those who paid way in advanced and give hope that regular classes will resume very soon. However, that did not happen. instead, he charged more people for prepaid private classes and ran off with the money with no intention of ever reopening the gym. When customers started asking for refunds the owner claims the government ceased the company's assets and he is now in a legal battle trying to get the assets back, hence, he is in no position to issue any refunds. when I called out his lies by asking for the "notice of forfeiture" and the case number to look up public records he disbanded the chat group of over 400 people.

Negative experience: I payed for a month back last year and i still have not received a refund or anything back and they have closed down since and no longer operate any classes. such a scam

Fantastic experience: Great place to train and learn at your own pace. Trainers mix it up all the time, keeps things interesting from day-to-day, week-to-week. It's a real treat and the group participating is very nice as well.
