University of Alberta Main Gym

The Main Gym is located in the Van Vliet Complex and up until 2011, was the home to Golden Bears and Pandas varsity basketball and volleyball athletic teams. During Fall and Winter Term, the Main Gym is used for Academic classes, recreational use, Intramurals, Club Sports, and numerous external renters. The east side of the gym is filled with windows that allow for viewing on two levels; from the Social Street of the PAW Centre and the 2 multi-purpose rooms on the second level. The gym offers several configurations and set-ups from sporting events, receptions, trade shows, and large conferences.

Located in the Education Building, the Education Gym is located on the main level and offers an additional gym space for student activities, tournaments, and special events.
