Fantastic experience: I've been training with Caden for a year now. When I first met him, he asked me what my goals were. I had three. 1) increase my strength 2) do a pullup 3) improve my mental health. In the past year, Caden has delivered on all fronts. Caden designs workouts thoughtfully and tailored to your specific needs. Since last year, I've been consistently lifting heavier weights. I'm able to do 4 pullups (and going for more!). And on a bad day, training with Caden is respite. A big reason for this is how queer and gender-affirming Caden and the rest of the trainers at Motus are. The space itself has been designed to be more welcoming than any other gym I've been to. I highly recommend Caden to anyone looking for an effective training program that will consistently show you results!
Fantastic experience: Ryan is an excellent trainer, and Motus is a wonderful place. Ryan is thoughtful and encouraging, while also challenging me to go beyond what I was used to doing instead of avoiding the lifts and weights I was scared of. (It turns out I’m a lot stronger than I thought!). He's also fun and warm, which makes going to train something to look forward to instead of a chore. Finally, he's interested in helping me define and meet my goals, instead of using a one-size-fits-all approach; he treated me like I was already an expert on my body, and to be listened to, even as he helped me learn more about how to use my body. And Motus feels like a world apart from so much of the fitness world.
Fantastic experience: Ryan has created an inclusive space and programming that takes into consideration my limitations. I’ve had some of my most intense workouts here, highly recommend!
Fantastic experience: Ryan at Motus is a great trainer and a great coach. He can demystify intimidating thigs (like heavy lifts) and he always ensures that things are done safely. AND in case that sounds boring, please also understand that working with Ryan is, above all else, joyful. I really recommend working with him. The Motus space is approachable, well maintained, clean and inviting. I love working out there.
And we love having your joyful energy in the mix!

Fantastic experience: Fully equipped gym with an excellent array of professional, friendly and responsible trainers who will motivate and guide you to some actual results. Highly recommended.
Negative experience: Not a clean place
I'm pretty sure we've never had you in our studio. We're pretty proud of our little studio and we keep it quite nice. Maybe you have us mixed up with someone else?

Fantastic experience: Been seeing Scott here for training for nearly 3 years and I'm a healthier man because of it. Used to live right next door and would go twice a week. I now live just over an hour away and I still train with Scott because that's how great Motus is!
Fantastic experience: What a great space. This training studio, hidden away in the junction is a perfect place for people of all fitness levels to work with the trainers. Scott was able to put me through my paces, but also push me to my limits. These guys can definitely help you work towards your fitness goals!
