CORE Spin Club - Mahogany

Positive experience: They are now closed as per an email from the owners and post on instagram. Classes were good and friendly staff. Unfortunately the music is too loud and ear plugs are needed as you're directly below the speakers.

Negative experience: I enjoyed the classes there, but when a family emergency happened and I could no longer attend classes, I canceled my membership and let them know right away. However, I was still charged for four consecutive months, even if I canceled my membership and there is only two-three months payment penalty for early cancelation. I contacted them several times pointing out that the fourth payment withdrawal was unauthorized. In the end, they promised to refund my payment for the last month, but they never did. Very disappointing and totally unethical attitude.

Positive experience: The spin, LIT and barre classes are great!!!

Fantastic experience: Tyler and Krista (owners) provide exceptional customer service, in-studio challenges, and workouts for every fitness level. I go to spin, LIIT and HIIT, and love every single one. They also provide Barre, step and yoga classes, which speaks to the diversity they provide. All the instructors go above and beyond for first-timers, and have built an amazing community out this studio. Prices are exceptionally fair, and better quality than what you would get at a big brand studio.

Fantastic experience: I've been going here for over three years now and I still love it! All the instructors are fantastic and everyone is made to feel very welcome, no matter what their fitness/skill level is!

Fantastic experience: Great local business in Calgary! I’ve tried many spin and fitness studios, both in-person and virtual, but nothing compares to Core. What makes them stand out among others is their heart. They really care about their clients and riders and treat them like family. Their virtual library boasts many videos—from spin, yoga, and HIIT, among other things. If you’re looking for a studio to sign up with, you won’t go wrong with Core!

Fantastic experience: Core is one my absolute favourite places to be. I have been going for almost a year to the Mahogany location and I couldn’t ask for a better place to work out! Krista and Tyler do an amazing job creating a sense of community, and really make sure their members are taken care of. Their instructors are all unique and make spin and HIIT so much fun. I love getting stronger and continue to be challenged a year in! I also have to say, as a dietitian I value that they make their space inclusive for all bodies to move in a way that is comfortable for them, and often recommend them to my patients interested in group fitness. Thank you for all the incredible work you do! <3

Fantastic experience: Feb 2019: Had a great first class today! The owners are so sweet & helpful! Thanks guys! March 2019: I had to log on and edit this now that I have been taking classes at Core for a month now. All the classes have continued to be great. It’s such a great workout! I have taken Tyler/Krista/Annie/Kate’s classes and they are SO good! Kate says some incredibly motivating things during class. I even started to tear up last class! Endorphins baby! Love this place!! ♥️

Fantastic experience: Love this studio!!! The owners, Krista and Tyler, are so welcoming and good at putting new people at ease. All the instructors are great. The Skill Mills in the HIIT room are so fun and provide an amazing workout. Definitely sets them apart from other studios in Calgary.
