The Gym on Bowen

Positive experience: Cute gym! Really small but has a lot of machines. Not a lot of space for working with free weights, but there’s enough. Keep in mind the location has changed! New address is 1037 Miller rd. Unit 114. Also, to get in you need the app and a door code, you can’t just leave cash in the jar.

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym to have an exercise in or weight train many different machines and weights to choose from at a reasonable price you can pay a drop in price of ten dollars pay for a month or two or if you want a whole year and when your done you can walk to artisan eats next door to have a great lunch or breakfast I enjoy my time here very much highly recommend for anyone

Fantastic experience: Such a cute gym in a little artisan market place on Bowen island. Surprisingly well equipped and spacious with floor to ceiling windows , lots of natural light and high ceilings. Plenty of free weights and squat racks. Way more than what I imagined for an island getaway workout! Brad the owner is super friendly and helpful. The honor system jar at the front for the $10 drop in fee is really cute. They even have showers in the ladies room with hot water , body soap , shampoo and conditioner! Such a plus on vacation !!

Fantastic experience: Did not expect to even find a gym on Bowen Island, so this in itself was a great surprise. Even better... top notch facility and very well equipped. In fact maybe better equipped than some clubs 50X its size. Impressed! Plus super easy arrangement was made to accomodate our short stay. GREAT CLUB! Look forward to returning many times in the future.

Fantastic experience: Totally well equipped, clean, organized and professional gym! An enormous gift to every resident and visitor on Bowen Island and a joy and pleasure to work out in. Deepest thanks to the owners for making this great service available to members and day visitors. Best gym I've seen anywhere.

Fantastic experience: I’ve worked out in many gyms in my time, and this one ranks high on my list of favourites. The owner is incredible; there is enough equipment there to satisfy everyone’s tastes; and the environment is kept to high standard of readiness. Many gyms lack sufficient free weights, but this one is very well provisioned. The change rooms in many gyms are the stuff of nightmares, whereas the ones here are tidy. I would imagine that it would be an uncomfortable experience exercising here during a peak visiting hour, as the space was designed to accommodate the needs of a small population. However, I have never chosen to exercise in these less than optimal conditions, so the matter of lack of space has never been a deterrent.

Fantastic experience: Not a huge space but has everything you need for a good workout. Plus convienantly located to cafes for a post workout reward
