Fantastic experience: Very Clean gym. Staff super friendly and very helpful. I’m 50+, going to the gym was alittle intimidating but Sonia was there to assist me all the way. Her Bootcamp classes are great too!

Fantastic experience: The selection of equipment offered is absolutely amazing. If the exercise machines were not available i would not be able to get back in shape due to a cracked rib: using weights is out of the question. I have made significant though slight muscle gain in just 4 weeks after being unable to properly exercise for over 2 years due to other personal circumstances. As someone who has trained on & off since i was 14, using these machines is a fantastic way to get & stay fit. My former coach in Ottawa is happy with my progress and encouraging me to continue carefully train to get back in shape Thank you AFC for this great facility Update, July 2024 After 2 years of careful resistance training on their equipment, recently upgraded, I have made amazing progress in muscle mass that was at a very bare minimum in July 2022 I am at approximately 75% of what I consider to be my optimum fitness of 2019 The current manager is an amazing, very fit, inspiring and friendly young woman

Fantastic experience: I've been weight training for 40yrs, and experienced many different gyms. Alexandria Fitness Center is by far one of best. Great equipment, very clean, and friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: Great Gym, Great Atmosphere! Phenomenal Owner, Staff and Members. Been going here for a year now and have had ZERO issues. The place is always maintained & clean. Rules, memberships and options are made CLEAR as day upon sign up. 10/10 RECOMMEND

Negative experience: I joined this gym because Body Break has closed in Alexandria due to Covid and driving to Cornwall to Planet Fitness in the winter wasn't an option. The cost is expensive especially since the front desk hours didn't meet my own schedule. The showers have no hot water which should be considered a necessity. There's no water refill options either. Deadlifts are a no no due to the wooden floor. The wifi works only when the front desk is open. After all of this I will say the equipment works well.

Negative experience: Good equipment, nice looking gym. Horrendous time slot system for youth. Lockers only available for gold membership which is supposed to offer courses (they dont) no water station. City prices for a small town gym. Unfortunate because the gym definitely has potential.

Negative experience: The gym has lots of space and has good atmosphere but its too expensive (over 72$/month, 72$ is considered a deal for them). 50$ or even 60$ would be wayyy more reasonable. Too many rules compared too other gyms and dont even have access to lockers since its only for gold pass (over 80$/month)! With 72$ we should have a water station, have a locker and be able to bring someone for free once a week at minimum. I talked with the owner and he was thinking of raising the prices soon but I think it would be foolish of doing soo. For the price its not worth it! Buy your own equipment for that price and workout from home if possible. And its not open 24/7! You need to pay at least the 72$/month and be +18 yrs old to have access to the gym 24/7.

Fantastic experience: Great good sized Gym in Alexandria. With all the equipment you could want. An entire section for classes as well.

Negative experience: I am definitely not one to complain usually, however, the service at this gym definitely has had me surprised. This is a new gym in Alexandria, and you can tell. They offer 24/7 service to customers, however, my membership has been suspended multiple times for showing up during late hours while still using my FOB they provided. They make you sign a contract very quickly and do not explain themselves nor their rules and can have you paying more than what you were expecting to. BE CAUTIOUS.

Negative experience: Rude customer service.

Negative experience: I would rate this negative stars if I could. Awful administration. I received a very rude and agressive email about wearing a mask even though I did! I did what everyone else did at the gym. Had my mask on and off just as much as everyone else there. I am not against masks at all and wasnt even given a warning. They said they would revoke my membership with no refund! When I asked for proof he said "it's none of your business". This is no way to treat a paying client. I will not be returning.
