Fantastic experience: I had an amazing first-time experience training with Braden at Train For Life. He told me I would double my strength, and I ended up surpassing that in just eight weeks! Fantastic experience: I recently completed an 8-week personal training program that met three times a week, and it was an incredible experience. Throughout the process, I constantly challenged Coach Braden’s decisions, doubting whether I could really lift heavier or push myself further. Every time he told me to increase the weight, I hesitated, thinking it was too much. But he always believed in me, reassuring me that I was stronger than I thought. And—of course—he was right. I hit my personal best every single session, surprising myself with what I was capable of. This program not only made me physically stronger but also shifted my mindset about my own limits. Fantastic experience: I started training at Train for Life over a year ago. My life has changed in so many ways. One of the biggest changes has been my mindset. My entire life I have been obsessed with the number on the scale. Now it’s about how I feel—both physically and mentally. I am leaning to celebrate non scale victories. Coach Branden has kept me accountable and believed in me. The Train for Life community is like nothing I have ever experienced before. “I am stronger than I give myself credit for”. Fantastic experience: I recently became a trainer at Train For Life and the welcoming experience was phenomenal. The whole team is so encouraging and kind. I have learned so much already from connecting with clients and coaches. Train For Life is so much more than a gym. It’s a positive environment to connect with one another and learn. Fantastic experience: Training with Braden was a game changer for me. I did the discovery program and in just 4 sessions I was able to double my deadlift. This experience was amazing and definitely gave me so much knowledge in the gym and with fitness.

Fantastic experience: I found Brandon Usher to be a remarkable trainer! Brandon is patient, nonjudgmental, and empathic, while at the same time clear and direct regarding practices and helpful tips. I’m part of the Boomer generation, a septuagenarian, part of the geriatric crowd! I anticipated feeling a little uncomfortable entering a personal trainer’s private workout facility. I found those fears to be totally unnecessary. At Train for Life, Brandon creates a safe environment, and his other clients were actually having fun! He organizes workouts around a clearly defined model, but he adjusted his workout routines to my unique needs and age – a very perceptive guy. I believe longevity is more than just living longer. I want to maximize my life span but age in a healthy manner. I believe healthy aging is closely tied to regular exercise and physical fitness. However, until I met Brandon, I couldn't find the motivation to achieve my desired outcome. Brandon provides the structure and guidance I desperately need. I retired as an Advisor to Family Enterprise / executive coach. I experienced Brandon as an excellent mentor, a wise soul in a young man’s body. He may be a wonderful trainer for young people like my son, but he’s a perfect fit for my generation!

Fantastic experience: I have not yet utilized the gym and its options to train 1:1,1:2- However ,I really appreciated the free one hour assessment with Braden . I really liked the vibe of the small space with ample machines and equipment . It wasn’t overwhelming or intimidating . It looks like the kind of place that encourages and challenges . Weeks Later; I can now weigh in on the experience I had working with Braden with the “ discovery “ sessions of 4,1:1. 1) I needed help in restoring the confidence I once had in my strength and physical fitness. Partly due to some small injuries and partly being overwhelmed by so much advice on social media . 2) What should I be doing!!? Am I doing what I do at home correctly ? Want to avoid injury ! 3) I was hoping To get a home gym set up and a program . Braden came through with this agenda . He also encouraged me to lift more weight than I ever thought possible . The sessions were structured but flexible . I felt as though this is my plan for me and at the same time it was fully Braden’s choreography guiding the show. I felt really seen and fully encouraged I left feeling better about myself and grateful

Fantastic experience: My experience with train for life has been truly life changing. Not only does this have to do with feeling way more comfortable in my body, but better overall physically and mentally. As a former competitive athlete, i had lost my passion and motivation for fitness. I tried joining gyms, did workouts like f45, ect. but would never stick to it or see results. I set goals at the beginning of my training and have been able to hit, and surpass them. Coach braden has great knowledge, shows up for his clients with pure intention, and compassion. He meets you where you're at and truly WANTS you to succeed. I have learned so much about fitness and nutrition and now have a completely changed lifestyle. I would recommend anyone to go to train for life, no matter where you are at in life. TRAIN FOR LIFE!

Fantastic experience: Train for Life goes beyond just training for strength & mobility, Braden's enthusiasm and knowledge is contagious. Fantastic experience: I started training with Braden about 3 months ago and couldn’t be happier with my experience. He does a great job at taking the time to explain the how and why behind exercises so that I can clearly see how we’re working towards my goals. The atmosphere at the studio is incredibly friendly and welcoming and it’s been super rewarding seeing my progress week to week. Fantastic experience: 4 Sessions in with Braden at his intimate Train For Life studio and feel "awakened" to the compelling reasons for being there! Part of it is concluding that I'm actually not getting younger, with the endless days of wine and roses, health/fitness that seemed to come easy in the day... I was never really a "program" or Trainer guy but Braden and his awesome Program and facility have truly brought me around to some important needs and goals that I need to work toward for the years to come! There is a great and inspiring energy in the room with other clients smiling (or are those happy grimaces;-) working towards their goals with other coaches, comprehensive equipment/machines, lots of light, awesome space! With his experience, patience and encouragement in this beginning, I feel so thankful to have found Train For Life and look forward to making real changes and improvements for my future and aging in health!! Braden has an obvious intentional and compassionate desire to help with your challenges and his inspiring words during sessions and like follow-up texts make it feel very worthwhile! Highly recommend you check in with Braden and TFL if you are looking for a similar experience!

Fantastic experience: When I originally connected with Braden at Train for Life, I'll admit I was hesitant to make the investment in myself at first. I had hit one of the lowest points of my life and knew I had to start prioritizing my wellness. I went into the program thinking that it was just going to be a workout and nutrition plan but it is so much more than that. I not only went through a physical transformation, losing almost 30lbs in 3-4 months, but also experienced a mental transformation I never expected. I was not only training my body, but also training my mindset! Braden is amazing at helping you dig down deep into your "why", and showing you that you are capable of anything you set your mind too, not just in the gym but in life as well. Fitness can be very intimidating, especially after you have neglected yourself for so long, but Braden is such a genuinely compassionate and caring person that it often felt like I was working with a friend who actually wanted to see me succeed. When things got hard, Braden checked in more and went out of his way to help me stay on track. On our check in calls, I often joked that he could be a therapist because he always listened and asked questions. I truly believe I am a much happier, more confident person because of the work we did and I have honestly wondered if I would still be here today had our paths not crossed. The new found confidence, and self worth has made me a better person, a better mom, and I even believe the change in my mentality is what pushed me to apply for, and get, a promotion at work. The lessons and habits learned are invaluable and I continue to use them in day to day life. I could go on and on about why everyone needs to spend time with any of the Train for Life crew and practice their values... if you're hesitating like I was, don't! THANK YOU BRADEN!!!!

Fantastic experience: The team at Train for Life is awesome! They are warm and welcoming :) it doesn’t matter your age or (fitness) stage —they are committed to learning about your fitness challenges and goals and tailoring a program that is highly personalized and attainable! As a postpartum mom who has been away from the gym for awhile, I was nervous to try it out again but coach Braden was so supportive and encouraging, I realized I am capable and stronger than I thought! Go check them out! You will feel better, I promise :)

Fantastic experience: I met with Braden for my first ever personal training session. Without knowing exactly what I was getting myself into, it far exceeded my expectations! We chatted about my goals and he immediately had a method and structured (but flexible!) practice to get me there. The space has everything you could possibly need for all levels of fitness and for all goals. It’s clear Braden has a passion for what he does and is both motivating and encouraging. While these are early days in my Train For Life experience, I am excited for what is ahead!

The gym is located very conveniently in downtown Collingwood and is a beautiful facility full of state of the art equipment. Fantastic experience: I recently had my first session at Train For Life, set in a beautiful and intimate space. Having trained at CrossFit, various boot camps, and personal training sessions, the coaching from Braden truly stood out. He was very knowledgeable and introduced me to some new (cool!) equipment. Fantastic experience: I can't say enough good things about Train for Life and Coach Braden! As someone who's been away from fitness due to a long-term illness, stepping back into the gym was daunting. However, my experience with Train for Life and Coach Braden has been amazing. First off, the private training studio is incredible. It's a pristine and private space, well-organized, and equipped with everything you need. Train For Life's program design is incredibly effective and easy to understand. Coach Braden has a talent for breaking down exercises and concepts into easily digestible, manageable steps. Train for Life and Coach Braden have given me the support and encouragement I needed to get back on track with my fitness journey. I'm grateful to have found this space.

Fantastic experience: Strongly recommend the Discovery program here! I just completed mine. Braden is very approachable and attentitive to your goals and concerns. His approach really helped me improve awareness in my movements and understand how to maximize and efficiently train (so I'm not in the gym for hours!). The equipment is new and the space is inviting. Great personal attention with a great guy, I can't recommend it enough!

Fantastic experience: I really loved training here and having the ‘luxurious' sensation of a professional and very pleasant coach by my side. This helped greatly to overcome beginners resistance in body and mind. After a year of physical difficulties this personalised training program was an absolute relief, and a pleasure to do. Every training day (twice a week) I walked out feeling so great again. Highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: I worked online and in-person for months with TFL coach Braden during lockdown. He helped me re strengthen my shoulder after separating it and now I’ve returned to soccer. I learned so many valuable exercises. His passion and vast knowledge of exercises always kept work outs interesting and made lifting fun, not to mention I re-learned the simple importance of moving / stretching your body daily. Fantastic experience: Above and beyond the best personal training gym in Collingwood. Braden and his team are professional, knowledgable, and passionate about what they do. The gym is beautifully designed with lots of natural light and top of the line equipment. The trainers will go out of their way to personalize the programs to your needs, educate you about nutrition, lifestyle habits, and training for your goals, all while making it fun and enjoyable to "suffer". Fantastic experience: As a personal trainer I am always looking for new ways to educate and challenge myself physically and mentally to benefit both myself, and my clients.
