Fantastic experience: Enrolling our child at Douvris has been one of the best decisions we've made. All the instructors are top notch. They are kind, considerate and welcoming. They make you feel like family and go above and beyond being just any business. We also celebrated our daughter's birthday at Douvris recently and what a fantastic job they did. All the kids had a blast and the parents were happy. Definitely recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: - Sensei Martina is amazingly responsive when you have questions or requests just email her, & u will get an answer fast. - No hidden fees, very transparent when it comes to pricing. - Really welcoming environment and inclusive community in the dojo, from other members & the coaches. no matter what your level is you will feel that you belong. - Only joined the TBT classes so far, and will definitely try the karate class as one of my goals in 2023. - Fell in love with the kickboxing classes, I bet once you try the free trial you will love it too. Negative experience: They were very nice during Covid when they needed business, virtual classes for cash. Completely changed now that they have more clients and less restrictions. Poor customer service and scheduling. Very demanding business for very little service.

Fantastic experience: I'm a current member of Douvris Barrheaven. When I arrived for my first class (Total body training TBT) they were super welcoming. Sensei Martina was there with me for my first class and explained the techniques and answered any questions I had. The staff are so friendly and incredibly lovely. I really love coming to workout here. The other members (clients) are also very friendly and helpful (some have been there for years and don't hesitate to help you if you have questions). I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in joining!

Fantastic experience: Best dojo ever!! They don't just teach Karate /fitness to my kids..They are mentors, leaders and role models within the community. 1000% would recommend. If you have kids please consider bringing them here

Fantastic experience: Full disclosure, not a client. I know someone that is and have heard about your responsible reaction to the COVID shutdown, and your quick adaptation to provide classes online. As someone who got sick from a different rare pneumonia virus that caused nerve damage a couple years ago that is comparable to what COVID does for 1/3 of the people who get it; and who has been recovering from that all this time, I can't thank you enough for making the hard decision to move to virtual training in that time. No one deserves to go through this if it can be helped. The least I can do is send kind words and 5 stars. Many people can teach the technicalities of martial arts reasonably well. It takes a little more to also raise good leaders. Honoured to live in a community with people that set such a good example. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Douvris Barrhaven is a great place to bring your kids train and do Martial Arts. The trainers of this location are very friendly and professional. It is a great ambiance and i love taking my son to his training. When my son started at Douvris a yr and half ago, I was not sure if he will last. Now , i think that he feels like he is a member of the Douvris Family . Thank you !

They care about every single one of their students and know everyone of the kids by name! There pricing for karate is very good. And it's just a fun loving environment for the kids and for the parents as well. Highly recommend Douvris for anyone looking to start their kids in karate. They even have adult karate and fitness classes to! Massive 5 star for this place!

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough about Douvris Barrhaven. Our oldest daughter has been attending karate classes for 2 years and our youngest followed in January. I have been completely addicted to the TBT classes for 2 years now and even my husband comes to class when his busy schedule allows! All Senseis are fantastic and the atmosphere is always positive and welcoming. The dojo feels like a second home to our entire family. Highly recommended!!!

Fantastic experience: Always enjoy the TBT workouts. Sensei Martina, Sensei Seb and the rest of the team create a fun and safe environment. From battle ropes to ladders, punching, kicking, and never ending variations of body weight exercises, TBT classes are never dull and routine!

Fantastic experience: The TBT class is the best workout I've ever done. Every class is different, so that helps keep me motivated. The Senseis are great! I was so nervous to go to my first class, but the Senseis and the students are not intimidating at all. Everyone is very welcoming, and regardless of your fitness level you'll have a great workout and start seeing results in no time!

Fantastic experience: I started doing Total Body Training classes over a year ago and love it! The workouts are challenging, and the Senseis are constantly changing and adapting them to keep our bodies guessing. This is not a cardio kickboxing class; this is a full body workout made up of focus pad and heavy bag training, body weight exercises, weights, and high intensity bursts of cardio. The Senseis are awesome and are always challenging and supporting us. The workout, environment and most importantly the people keep me coming back for more!

Fantastic experience: We are so happy to have our eldest as part of the Douvris Barrhaven family. We know they care about him, his progress and his overall well being. Our son is learning life skills as well as karate while working with amazing Senseis.
