Fantastic experience: After a few months of working with Master Sasha and his incredible team, last night our super shy son was the first child with his hand up to volunteer to read the school vows in front of the class. At the same class, our other son successfully gained his yellow tape and the sheer look of joy on his face was so amazing, I couldn’t hold back my (embarrassing) Mom tears. The lessons our boys have learned about perseverance and discipline are immeasurable and it’s made them much more confident and self-assured. Most importantly, it’s taught them that they can achieve anything if they work hard enough. We can’t express our gratitude enough to Sasha, Ben, Logan, Shana, Maria and everyone else part of the DCR community – from the moment we joined, starting with Liz to the parents in the waiting room, everyone has been welcoming and kind and we’re so happy we made this choice for our family. Fantastic experience: Master Sasha and his crew do a great job draining our kids’ energy and teaching them solid fundamentals for daily life. I should also mention that these guys are all about the kids and development. No hidden costs or any surprises. The facility is clean, bright and spacious. Would recommend anybody to DCR.

Fantastic experience: 100% worth the time and money! I wanted to enroll my son in an activity that would grow his confidence and build his character. I am blown away with what Master Sasha and the incredible instructors are able to do week to week. They orchestrate the classes and adapt to the expanding numbers where every child gets individual attention while also practicing patience! It’s like magic... My son was massively shy. Speaking or performing in front of a group would be unthinkable but last week he did it! In front of his peers and their families, my son got his yellow belt. He kicked through a board which he was nervous to do and had not done before. While my child was my favourite, I was in awe that every child, while they looked to their parents, were so zoned in on the instructors. The instructors captivated them and gave them the strength they needed for their big moments. Further to this, my son is starting to learn the power of mind control at 7 years old: “I wanted to break the wood, and I did it”, “I wanted to get my yellow belt, and I got it”. I recommend this studio to everyone! This is not teenagers standing at the sidelines and kids running around. The staff is passionate and offer a wonderful experience to their students. Fantastic experience: I visited DCR Martial Arts Academy recently for business reasons and was quite surprised at the bright modern facility that has almost a zen like yoga vibe going. I was greeted by 2 young boys who quickly pointed me to Master Sasha. Very professional and friendly staff greet you and provide parents a social atmosphere to talk with other parents and share ideas.I would definately recommend this martiaL arts school to everyone.

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff, our family has been with DCR for over 1.5 year and are continuing to be amazed by Master Sasha, his Mother and his Team. Our son adores everyone there and never wants to leave. Clean facilities, caring nurturing loving people, you can see how kids change in a matter of weeks there ...how happy the kids are .. DCR focuses on quality versus quantify.. small groups of kids for better learning curve... in other schools classes are overfilled...loud . We go to an afterschool everyday and we see how Master Sasha takes time to speak almost to every child for a few minutes after class. Becouse of such personal approach each child strives to perform their best! You can try to come for a free class a couple of times...not only once! Every person who came and tried never left and tons of people leave OMAC and other schools to come to DCR becouse of the values DCR stands for, the way they treat kids and their families and the amazing attitude of DCR staff!!!

Fantastic experience: If you are reading reviews of DCR to see if it would be an appropriate fit for you or your children then look no further. The passion that Master Sasha has is nothing short of amazing. Master Sasha and all the staff strive to bring out the best in all the students. They focus on quality, not quantity. The classes (unlike other local schools) are not packed. Master Sasha strives to focus on the quality during the classes and each kid has their own personal attention. Having been at another school for a few years you can really see the difference with DCR. Our son is thriving in the short time we have been there due to the quality of the instruction and family feel.

Fantastic experience: This is an amazing Dojang. The instructors are top notch. The environment is amazing. My kids used to go to OMAC Burlington to classes with 45 kids (too much). This place is cleaner, better, more confortable for the parents that are waiting and the instruction is amazing. Now my kids are loving it. They get a more personalized attention. The instructors are always the same. They teach the right ways of taekwondo with passion and they explain things in detail. Not just the how but the why. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Fantastic experience: This gym is full of positive energy and Master Sasha is truly what sets DCR apart from other gyms. His dedication, patience, respect for his students and his ability to connect with each and every child that walks onto the mat are unparalleled. He teaches proper technique and form in a fun and encouraging environment, and in turn, the students show him respect and an eagerness to learn. In addition, the entire space is clean and well looked after. And Lana (Ms. Tan) at the front is incredibly friendly and helpful. We are more than happy to have changed from our previous dojang to this one!! I highly recommend DCR as your first dojo to check out!

Fantastic experience: I definitely recommend DCR Tae Kwon Do Academy! Master Sasha is by far the best instructor I have ever seen! He has a gift when it comes to teaching children, especially the younger ones. My son started a few months ago and it has helped him greatly with his confidence, discipline, mental and physical stamina. We look forward to watching him in each class. Master Sasha has a way of making each class fun and exciting for both the kids and parents.

Fantastic experience: As soon as we found out Master Sasha had opened a new academy, we were here the next day. We have tried every tae kwon do academy in Burlington. None of them compares. Master Sasha is a standout. His focus on discipline and his endless patience with kids definitely accelerates their learning of the art and more importantly their development in life. If you're considering tae kwon do for your child. Dont wast your time, money or your childs development anywhere else. This is the place to be.

Fantastic experience: I followed Instructor Sasha to his new business based on his experience and the way he runs his class. My son has been brought to the next level in confidence based on Sasha's style of coaching. He is so talented at coaching young children. I cannot say enough good things about how professional he is and what a great motivational class he runs. The set up in the gym is comfortable for viewing which is something I have struggled with at other local gyms. Give this place a visit, it is the next level!
