Negative experience: Terrible customer service. I have been going there on and off for many years however lately it seems the owner/manager is rude, unprofessional and makes you feel like you are inconveniencing her by making an appointment. I will be taking my business elsewhere

I am always greeted by name and leave feeling appreciated as a valued client. The business hours are very flexible and the daily last-tan start time is clearly indicated for all to see. Without a doubt, I am very happy with the service provided and highly recommend this place to any future perspective clients!

Fantastic experience: The service here is always fantastic and the staff is very knowledgeable about tanning and products. I’ve been a regular here for quite sometime and the rules and times for tanning are clearly stated and the staff always verbally makes you aware of them. I’m very pleased with this establishment and would highly recommend it. A++++

Negative experience: This place has the WORSE customer service!! The woman working was super nice, only when I had my fiancee with me. Yesterday I show up at 5:38 to go tanning (your hours of operation say you were open until 6:00). This woman refused to let me tan and said she needed to get out exactly at 6:00. Even though a tan only takes about 8 mins for me, she refused my business, because clearly I was an inconvenience to her Friday Night plans. I left feeling annoyed and unvalued as a customer. I'm sure another tanning business will enjoy the business I bring. Thanks Miama Tan for allowing me to see how you truly operate

Negative experience: I started to tan at the Rothesay Ave. location last week for my first time in many years. My first experience with a stand up bed was fine and one of the staff was great as I had an issue with the bed, which was no fault of the salon, and she offered me a free tan and I felt better as I left. My second tan experience today was not so good. I requested a stand up bed again however when one became available it was one I was told to avoid as the fans did not work in it and that it would be unbearable to stay in for the amount of time I wanted to tan. I said to the girl working that if that was the one that had the fan issue I would wait for another bed. She hesitantly said ok and proceeded to put an older gentleman in it. She then said to me, while 3 other people were waiting in the waiting area, "Don't shout out again that there is an issue with the fan. We don't want other people to know that!" I said well first I did not shout it out and secondly people probably should know that before getting in it. My husband got in it last week and could not stay in the full time it was so hot". She said " well I am not supposed to tell people that and we want to keep the flow going so for future reference do not say anything again!". The facilities are fine here. Unfortunately, this particular staff member is not, she was very rude and needless to say after this incident I will NOT be tanning anymore at this salon.
